Apologies for contacting after expiry of support. Have purchased 6 licenses so far. (I LOVE this theme!) Latest one purchased in December 2016, then client delayed start of work on new site until after support expired.
Having trouble with Google Map on sisterofsoul.com.au Map currently not appearing in contact page. Have put an API in the Salient options… and checked correct GPS coordinates, but no map shows up.

Hey LeanneKingwell! I can see your map loading but your pin location is not set the same as of your map center lat/lng – if you zoom on very far you can see it’s currently appearing in Africa. Please check the lat/lng set for your location compared to the center point lat/lng in the element

other issus that we can’t figure out:
-during the FIRST load of the website, if you scroll to the footer a white area appears and the scroll locks and you cannot get out of it. if you refresh the page – it does not return.
-i cannot have a footer on the main page. I want to have some company info in the footer on ALL pages – it works for most pages (pages / posts / product pages) but a footer doesn’t appear on the main page.
-the header issue, very thick header and it also does not resize properly on all windows..
is there a way to add a user login area to the top right, where the shopping cart is? it seems almost hard to find unless you are checking out - which is understandable but we plan to have memberships and such so logging in would be a requirement for some aspects of the site.

1. In the Salient options panel > header navigation > logo and general styling tab, enter a lower value for the “Header Padding” option. It defaults to 28 when nothing is entered
2. In your page settings for that page, turn off the option to use “Activate Fullscreen Rows” http://themenectar.com/docs/salient/page-metaboxes/#fullscreenrows
3. If your header is running out of room on smaller devices, you need to change the mobile breakpoint in the Salient options panel > header navigation > logo/general styling tab to be a higher value
For future support please try and use the username which contains the license for the theme or contact Envato to have the license transferred to this username if you don’t have access to it anymore
Hi, is there a way to have child menu items visible in the side bar / mobile navigation? My sub/child menu items appear in the main menu on desktop but not in the pop out side bar / mobile menu. Thank you.

Hey, from my end it appears that by clicking on the menu item in the off canvas nav area, the submenu will appear. Are you not seeing them show when clicking the parent level item still?
It is working thank you! Only on mobile it is displaying double of the menu. I attempted removing them in Menus but cannot have only one appear.

It seems one of the plugins you’re loading is causing it – to fix it without having disable any plugins, add this into the custom css box in the Salient options panel:

I just did a fresh install of Salient and I’m getting the offcanvas sidebar appearing in my footer? https://brisbne.com/site1/
Same result if all plugins deactivated. Any ideas? Latest version of theme.
And also another question… is there a way to have a full width shop layout that also has the sidebar?
Actually I’ve got the full width shop with a sidebar now (tweaked in functions.php). Really not sure why I have the offcanvas sidebar in the footer; must be some erroneous code causing it but I can’t see where.
Any ideas?
Hey Sean, inspecting your style.css file it appears to be incomplete as if a large chunk of it was deleted – can you try downloading a fresh version of the theme from TF and replacing your parent theme style.css file with it?

there is some padding on the top above the header that i cant get rid off regardless of setting the padding to 0. as i scroll, the header changes colour and whatnot and I relly just waant it to stay a solid black with white font colour.
it also seem that the footer appears at the very top of the page for some reason.
Hey, the header is changing color because you have the option for “Header Inherit Row Color” turned on (located) within the same tab as mentioned above . Also if you set the header padding to “00” instead of just “0” it will remove all padding
and can you see the glitch where the footer is showing at the top of the page?
none of your suggestions are working. i have turned off transparency and I have change the header padding to 00. no change, and i can still see part of the footer on the top of the page.

hi there, just started working on Salient despite purchased for so long, great theme!
When browsing with mobile (Samsung S8+), we’ve realize a huge amount of blank space has been taking up the edge of screen on both sides (as shown https://goo.gl/natPSD). I’ve been trying to reduce these spaces in portfolio pages with no luck. Currently it is taking too much space and I only have a very narrow space in the middle which cannot showcase a lot of information. I am not using the full-width layout since I would like to keep a sidebar on the site, is there anyway we can adjust the width to 95% of the screen while responsive?

However it still does not solve my question: There are too much padding/ spaces on the sides of the screen which I would like to take up atleast 80% as content, and currently the padding is too thick and I only have a very narrow column in the middle. Can we make the content width larger and less spaces on the sides on phones screens? Thanks!
Hey, you can continue to adjust the px value as you’ve defined as 420 above, but setting it to a percentage value, to always be 80% regardless of the screen size would require custom modding as of now

This wouldn’t be possible as of now, however a work around would be to simply add the custom class onto the row holding the element and then use :nth-child to target the projects individually

I only ask cause I have a custom class already in the ‘EXTRA CLASS NAME’ to stylize the look and feel of the carousel.

2. My concern with using the :nth-child is I need each PORTFOLIO to have it’s own unique class name. I’m at a lose on how to use the :nth-child. Any help you could offer would be greatly appreciated.
3. You mentioned “This wouldn’t be possible as of now” is this something that you are considering adding in and if so can I hire you to have it implemented sooner or what options are available?

Autoplaying video BGs are replaced with the supplied preview image instead as shown on the demos. Have you added a preview image for your BG?
