Hey there! We used the Page Title Bar image from the demo as a model, and made a regular (1400×87) and retina (2800×174) Page Title Bar image of our own. However, on larger screens, the page title bar does not extend the full width of the screen. What size do you advise?

Is it possible to put a video header?

It is not possible to assign a video background directly to the header however you can have a video slider and than make the background of header transparent so it does look like you have a video background for your header and an example of this can be seen here => http://bit.ly/2h5do8p
Right now its just animation but you can also have your own or YouTube / Vimeo hosted video there.

Before I buy the theme I have one question. Is it possible to display text underneath menu items? Ideally I would like to be able to use the menu item Description field on the Menu Structure page to add a couple words underneath each menu item that I can theme.
For Example
Contribute
Volunteer or Donate
Where contribute and Volunteer or Donate would be the nav menu item.

Is there a bug with 5.2.2 with image title displaying on images. For some reason since the upgrade when I open the lightbox of images in a woocommerce product, the title of the image does not display anymore. I have spent hours going through all the options and cannot see anything that would solve this and now frustrated
The option in Lightbox options is set to ‘on’ but it still does not show the image title on the lightbox images. Also, Gallery start/stop button does not display either even though this is ‘on’ too.

I have purchased 2 copies of Avada and have accounts but they are past the 6 month support. I think you will understand that I shouldn’t need to pay 42 dollars to resolve an issue that seems to be with the theme upgrade. The only plugins I have are the ones that came with the theme and WP All Import. I cannot find why the titles are suddenly not displaying on the images which is frustrating as I have spent months renaming all the images for the products which were displaying fine until now. How can I try and resolve this issue?
For your info, the image ‘caption’ option is also not displaying on the lightbox image even though this is set to ‘on’ in the Lightbox settings. There seems to be some issue with the lightbox settings working?

I can understand, we have fixed a bug regarding the lightbox in our next version however i can not provide you with the files here as its not an option neither allowed so what i can suggest you is to wait for our next version that is 5.3 and check again once, however the bug is related to the SSL and you did not confirm me about that query, is your site on https:// or not? if not than it might be something else, just to make sure please check your WordPress and site URL as both should be same from WP Dashboard > General Tab

Can i use this theme for multiple sites or only one licence?

Regarding your product licensing, you have to purchase/own a license for each publicly accessible domain install of the theme. Regardless of whether the installation domain is a sub domain or not, if it is publicly accessible, it requires a license.
If you are migrating to a different domain and you already have your product registered with your original purchase code etc, you do not need to purchase a new license; You can simply add your registered purchase information to the new installation’s product registration tab.

I always seem to never be able to update the LayersSlider WP plugin. I have 5.6.1 installed and we are now supposed to be at version 5.6.8. The theme is up to date and all of my other plugins are up to date. Could you shed some light on a fix, please?

With our latest version of Avada that is 5.2.2 you should be on version 6.5.5 so please make sure you are on the latest version of theme as mentioned below.

Your theme did nothing but cause me pain today and havoc to my entire site. After installing it anew temporarily to test it out, after deactivating it I now have ‘fusion’ code all over the place.
Now I have to restore an old backup! Good going!

If you are using Fusion Builder elements you have to use Fusion Builder on the page for them to render, this is true for any page builder you will use that has its own elements such as Visual Composer or any other so if you simply enable the Fusion Builder again on your theme it will be all fine and good and code will turn into the element.

Your Fusion Builder left front end code where there wasn’t any previously and I never even made use of Fusion Builder this time. Also, I made sure to remove ANY remnant Front-end code after the last time I deactivated and removed AVADA years ago.
So it left me stranded with many posts and pages filled with such code!
Now do you understand!??? The world does not revolve around your theme yet you folks designed it so that it thinks it does.

I can understand that you may feel frustrated but there is no reason to not be cordial and respectful. Ammar’s reply to you here is 100% correct.
With any theme that uses a page builder or a page builder plugin even, when you enable, added content will be formulated using he themes markup. This is not unique to Avada in any way.
If you want to test the theme and/or start working on a new design or even just to update your existing set up with a new theme; Do this on a Staging domain or set up a localhost. I always recommend that to customers as it leaves your live site untouched whilst you get things set up and designed. When you are done, migrate from the Staging domain/localhost over to the live site.

Sorry if you think I wasn’t being cordial but I still don’t think you folks understand what I’m saying.
I never touched fusion page builder. I own other themes with their own page builders and even numerous copies of VC. None of them do what your Fusion has done. That is, leave front end code all over the place even after deactivating the theme…Sans having even touched the page builder.
Something I left out which just now came back to me: Your theme brought on a green screen, I vaguely recall, through which it said it was converting all my pages; or something to that effect.
I had no idea that it would’ve ended up as it did.
Anyhow, don’t want to beat a dead horse since this is all moot now.
Had tried to get back to using your theme some time ago but the had big issues and I’d no idea about the Grandfathered support. Thank you for making me aware.
When I finally get through some current problems on my site I’ll get back to Avada and will reach out through support. There’s a good reason I’ve tried to get back to Avada and it’s because I had faith in your product. I DO have other premium themes I own to choose from but I keep trying to make use of Avada anew.

Our developers are already working on this feature and it will actually be a part of our theme soon where you will have an option for Global Element where you can check an element as global and than any changes made to it will be made everywhere its used.

Hi, the new gallery element has Grid and Masonry option. Do you plan square thumbnails for the fixed size in Grid? Currently rectangular thumbnails are not so good in some cases.

Hello, are there any known issues with the PDF Product Vouchers premium plugin? In a local test I am making when I activate the Avada theme the PDF P.V. plugin does not work with WooCommerce variable products. If I switch to plain WP it works again. Thank you.

Is there a way to remove or hide all the custom fields from the product edit pages?
ie: pyre_display_copyright, pyre_display_footer, pyre_display_header, etc.
There’s a bunch of them and I’m not using any of them and they just get in the way.

They should never be there for you actually unless you have them enabled from Screen Options

I know that I can remove items there but I can’t do that because I have other custom fields that I need for the website customization. I just don’t want to see all the custom fields that seem to be auto generated by the theme.
ie: pyre_display_copyright, pyre_display_footer, pyre_display_header, etc.
The custom fields I need are ones that I created myself.

So, when I have problem with 3rd party widget (Revolution slider) Avada says its not our fault, ask the widget provider, and ThemePunch says you are not our costumer so ask your theme provider. So… is there some catch I’m missing? tnx

I have checked your ticket, unfortunately there were no WP admin (user / pass) details attached with the ticket so our support rep. couldn’t check this in details, i have sent you a reply on the ticket so please attach your WP admin (user / pass) details so we can test if the issue is related to our theme or a core Revolution Slider issue, if its a core Rev Slider issue you have to wait for an update and if its only occurring on Avada we will forward it to our developers to take a look at it.

Basically its not suggested to switch demos unless you want to start fresh, however you can create a backup of your old theme options from Avada > Theme Options > Import / Export tab and than you can import the Theme Options of other demos using our Partial Demo Import method.

I’ve outline my many issues with Avada in the review I posted here https://themeforest.net/ratings/2707715 . I’ve worked with Wordpress for almost a decade so I know very well how Wordpress coding works, it’s just that Avada doesn’t deliver on its promises.

Wow, your “support” is rude, condescending and passive aggressive. Since you don’t stand by the quality of your product, I have taken the refund issue to Pay Pal and I recommend that everyone else does the same thing, especially since you auto declined the refund request anyways.

It is unfortunate that you even see it that way. Using theme theme for a couple of hours and leaving a negative review based on subjective assumption simply does require defense.
