Hi, If I remove the room type “Ensuite” from the attributes of the room the room disappears from the home page. Any ideas why?
Hello, thanks for posting your question. On the homepage, the Rooms meta box probably has Ensuite listed as one of the types to show so if you remove it from a room that is shown on the homepage, it will be removed. You can choose rooms to display by room type or individually. One or the other but not both at the same time. Does that help?

As for the Client Form. That’s a small bug that has come up with the most recent update of Formidable. If you go to WP Dash / Appearance / Widgets / Footer 4 / and select the Sign up form from the drop down, then save, it should correct itself.

Can you add a anchor that after “Book” it goes to the “Add Cart” section?
I’m on “guesthouse-one-page” Newcastle room. On mobile it goes to the black footer section… On that user need to “Add to cart” it’s not pratice.. It’s not user friendly.
Another issue: On capilano (right side bar) i can’t make a book process… The button “Add cart” not show up…
I begin to lose the will to buy the theme.
Hello, thank you for letting us know. Yes the book should anchor up to the add to cart button when on mobile. We can check that out. We don’t have online payments setup for the sidebar on our demo but you can see it working on all the other room pages. Cheers!

Hi there, I’m interested in your theme, however there our a few functions that we need to be sure of first. I’m designing a website for an OTA, which will be listing multiple hotels, in multiple locations. Eventually we will be adding transportation and possibly activities to the list. In short, we need the theme to: - Support multiple hotels – With advanced search – With Availability & Booking Calendar that uses a 2 way sync for ical and others
Please let me know if you have another suggestion too if this theme will not work for the above features.

Hi Jon, thanks for your interest. It’s a flexible theme so you can any content to the pages, activities, transportation etc.. You can also arrange the hotel in a way to have multiple locations using the room type filters. We don’t have an advanced search at this time but you can use the WordPress built in search to find content including rooms. We provide a one way sync (export) using the bundled plugin, if you are looking for a 2 way sync you can use VR calendar. I’ve heard great things about it. happy to help.

There are no limits on the number of calendars you can use. There are also no limits on the number of rooms you can add. When you say multiple hotels, what features are you looking for? The theme was designed for Vacation rentals and B&B but it’s also been used on many hotels as well.
When I’m on on the cart page I see my items and click “Proceed to checkout” it takes me to the checkout page but it only shows “Thanks for choosing…” Am I doing something wrong?

I am half way through theme activation, but I made some errors (like, I didn’t import the demo content images…). How can I start again with the process?
Thanks for letting us know. There are two options:
1 – rerun the import and see what you get, you can find the link under WP Dash / Appearance / Theme Setup.
2 – If it’s a brand new install and you don’t mind starting from a clean slate, use the WordPress Reset plugin, https://en-ca.wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-reset/ – It will reset your database but won’t delete any plugins or themes.

Hi, Following pgardiye’s question, I have the same need for seasonal prices. I currently have 13 periods in the year (maybe that’s too much but this is my current policy :-)). I cannot display 13 calendars and a booking may of course overlap two periods. The theme looks great and highly flexible but this is the one issue that makes me delay my purchase. Hello Christian, thanks for letting us know. Yes, the plugin that is bundled (WP Booking System) is developed by another developer so we don’t have control over those features however you can easily replace the booking system with oen of your choice that fits the requires you need for your booking polices. I’ve seen some people use PinPoint, VR Calendar and several others. The theme is very flexible so you have special requirements and need specific features you can always sub out the booking system with one that you use. It’s very easy to do. Let us know if we can help.
Also, the booking plugin that is bundled is awesome but if you do not wish to use it you can easily just deactivate the plugin in WordPress. Very easy.
Thank you for your answer. I think I will purchase your theme then and later on one of the booking systems you recommend. I have a single appartment to rent with seasonal prices, which must be in French and English and allow two payments for initial booking and final rental.
Previously, I had bought a theme that was too complex for my situation and required users to create an account before booking (it was in fact designed for real estate owners of multiple properties).
I think your theme will be a better match, unfortunately you only really know after you have purchased it, installed it and started playing with it…

Hi, I want another user to be able to access the booking system without giving too much access to the rest of the back-end. At the moment a user must be admin to be able to view bookings. Is there a way to give a subscriber access to the booking system? Thank you!
Hm, not that I am aware of. The plugin is developed by another dev team and they allow us to bundle it in our theme. There is an ‘assign users to this calendar’ but I think the user has to be at least an editor? Have you tried playing around with different user roles?
I have tried all the roles, only administrator works. On the WP Booking System page it says that you are able to manage users and that an editor will be able to have access but it doesn’t seem to work.

Yes, that’s the article. However, if you have different season rates, what is the shortcode to include all in 1 calendar? the article says can be done. But I can’t find a shortcode or how to do it.
What the articles is saying is that you can use the same calendar (shared bookings and availability) but you need to use the shortcodes twice to do it.
So you would have to use a shortcode for each sku. If you have winter and summer pricing you would have two calendars displayed on the page but they would be the same calendar and share bookings and availability.

So for an example, if I have 4 rates I will need to show the same calendar 4 times on the same page? there is no option to show just 1 calendar but pricing gets calculated based on the dates? My issue is; when someone select dates from previous month over lapping to another seasonal rate it doesn’t seem to calculate rates properly.
That’s correct, they don’t have to be on the same page but you are right in that the dates could overlap and span 2 seasons, so not perfect. Some users have had success blocking out the dates outside of the season so they are not selectable. (setting them to booked or unavailable).
The plugin developer who makes the WP Booking System is working on a version with daily rates which will solve this problem. They have a beta version out but the full release is not ready yet.

If you want a product to be tied in with a calendar (check in / check out dates) then you’ll want to setup a product with WooCommerce and then associate it with a calendar. That’s correct, we have checkin and check out dates but you select them on the calendar, not from a drop down list. Is this what you are referring to?

Showing the start and end dates for the purchase duration is more appropriate then showing e.g. ‘product x10’ as Bellevue currently does.

Ah, we added this to the child theme. Are you using the most recent version of the theme? It’s not a core feature but we have provided a kit to allow you to play around with this feature.

On the 27th July 2017 I received an email from themeforest about the release of an update of your theme so I scheduled a maintenance operational the next days. As still now I am not able to download any version newer to April 2017 (1.8.9) from my download section thought. Was there something wrong with the update release itself and you pulled it or am I wrong with my panel download? Thank you for your understanding.
Thank you for the follow up. This was a minor copyright issue with our demo, Envato requested that we provide credit for a photo and I think it’s their policy to send an alert out. Nothing was updated inside the theme, but we will be releasing an update soon.
Hi, I’ve successfully installed the theme and am trying to implement the connection between Woocommerce and the booking system. In a previous reply, you outlined how to connect the two. How do you add the product id to the calendar shortcode? product_id=”[id]”? product=”[id]”? I’ve tried several options and the “Add to cart” option never appears?

Hello, yes I think it would work well. You can book half days and full days with this plugin. Also, if the plugin won’t work for you then you can always substitute with another plugin, it’s flexible like that.

The theme should work well with third-party APIs and plug-ins. We haven’t tested with booking.com or Expedia but it should work well for you if not let us know and will help you through it.

The theme should work with your customization that you do including 3rd party apis, but that is usually through the use of plugins or custom scripts. So thebtheme should not prevent the use of 3rd party apis but does not come with custom scripts for your particular 3rd party api. We do support formidable forms, master slide pro and wp booking system.
