That is not an issue with a theme but rather a plugin. We cannot fix it and have to wait for changes in the plugin.
Checking back on this: I submitted a bug report to Yoast at https://github.com/Yoast/wordpress-seo/issues/7975
Their reply: We’ve concluded that this issue is not experienced by many users, therefore we are not able to fix this short-term. However, if more users are affected by this bug, we’ll revisit this issue.
We’ve labeled the issue as patch welcome and would like to invite the theme developer to create a patch for it if something needs to be edited in our code.
Hopefully you can put this on your list of things to fix!

You can disable the “make parent menu item clickable” option. This will force tap all menu-item (not only the ”+” sign) to open the submenu.

If I understood you correctly, you can use a Slider Revolution in title area to create any fancy page title(s) you like.
It wasn’t about a page title, it was about the styling of the TILES in the grid. But I will try to customize them. Thank you!
