If I turn on the catalog mode, can I customize the BUY or ADD TO CART buttons to use a non WooCommerce system? For example Shopify. I am presently running a non-Shopify WP portfolio theme and using the Shopify BUY buttons directly on the website. Thanks

Shopkeeper theme is built to work with WooCommerce and it wasn’t tested with Shopify. So most probably what you’re trying to do will require custom code. Catalog mode is a feature of the theme which will completely remove the shop functionality so you won’t have an add to cart button with this option enabled.

Thanks. If one is using the catalog mode, does it work exactly as the Shop minus the “Add to Cart” button? Does it allow to click a catalog item and take you to a single page? Also, is it possible to see the catalog feature in one of your demos? Thanks again.
Are we able to change the set of images set for the products by clicking the colour variant? Something like the link below, you click the colour and the product image will change accordingly.

So if you want a different look, you can look for a plugin with those type of options.

I’m trying to change the “cart” text throughout my site to “bag.” I have added filters in my functions file to do so on buttons and whatnot, but it says “no products in your cart” when you click on the shopping cart icon. I want it to say “no products in your shopping bag.” Is there anyway to make a sitewide edit here without installing a plugin?

The theme doesn’t have a newsletter feature but the cool thing about this is that you can look for any plugin which better suits your needs and use it. I know some users are using Mailchimp plugin which seams to be a popular option.

Like the look and the checkout page of this template. I have the mrtailor template and like when you click in “add to cart” and the cart appear from the right with slide effect. Are you planing add this feature on this template?

The off-canvas cart is not on our task list but Shopkeeper does include the Mini cart which looks pretty awesome: https://www.screencast.com/t/uQRrUEBT I can see the need for such a feature and I will submit a request to our developers to bear in mind an off-canvas cart for a future update.

The blog wasn’t changed after the latest theme update and it should work just fine for you as well. Just make sure you’re using Blog Layout 1 or 2 which include a sidebar. For that you need to navigate to Shopkeeper > Customize > Blog: https://www.screencast.com/t/ipL2WlUtCaDH

Hello I have another pre-sale question. My site will rely heavily on photography and I want to make sure this is the right theme, with the right options for me. One of my pages will have a full width Hero image with some text that was added through Photoshop. My problem is that I would like to have a version for mobile devices so when the resize happens the text does not look off screen. Is there any options on this theme or any way to add to the code this that I’m asking. It’s important.

Visual Composer does have an awesome option which allows you to hide specific columns on smaller or devices. Basically you can have a row with an image to show on laptops or desktops and hide it on mobile. Then you can have a different size image and hide it from bigger devices and only show it on mobile.

That doesn’t seems to be happening at this end and we would like to help you get to the bottom of this issues. You should go through the Troubleshooting Guide first and if that won’t help you get to the bottom of it, please reach out to the support team and provide a link to your site and a temporary admin username and password so we can look into it.

An additional question: I see you guys using css-classes in tutorials. Is there a list of all css-classes that this theme has to offer? i.e. without googlei would never know about css class “mega-menu”. Where can i retrieve those in the theme documentation or so?
The only class working with the menu is “mega-menu”.

Hello, I was wondering if it is possible to change the drop down menu background color from white to transparant? How do you control these drop down menu’s (font, background color,...) In your online guidance (https://shopkeeper.wp-theme.help/hc/en-us/articles/206678899-How-to-work-with-Header-Transparency-) you refer to header transparancy menu, but this option is not present for me… I hope you can point my in the right direction to change the sub menu drop down, to make it less prominent. Fonts can be changed in Shopkeeper > Customize > Fonts.

Hello, Could you please tell me where I can find the size dimensions for images that will populate the product category- grid…I do know they are populated after you add the image to the product category…Some areas on the grid are large squares…small squares and landscape rectangles and portrait rectangles…Need to know how to set up images so they look clear and centered… Also Could I please have the image size for the header also in the product category page….Thank you in advance for your help.

Pre-sale question. I want to have rounded buttons for users to select the size of the clothes I will be selling. So instead of selecting from a drop-down, they’d be clicking either: S,M,L, etc rounded buttons. Is this possible with this theme? If not, Can it be done via modifying the CSS?
