Hi, love the theme. I have a question in regards to Portfolio Item pages. This is a page where I am showcasing my work with Elated Portfolio images and a small text description of the work. However, it seems for all the layout options the text block is always at the bottom and images are on top. Is there any way to have my title and text block show up on top and portfolio images below? Thanks for your help

We are not sure if you are referring to a Portfolio List or Portfolio Single pages. Anyhow it might be possible to do it with some smaller adjustments to the templates or some custom CSS.

Blog Post title color – How do i change the color of the blog post titles? There are so many settings and I cannot seem to locate the correct one that actually changes the color! The title that shows up at the bottom of the top header.
also how to add a background image to side menu area. I see where the color can be changed but nothing for background image?

If you are referring to side menu area on the left, background can be set from Elated options > Header https://www.screencast.com/t/AJsUy6lHoyi7 but if option doesn’t exist for side area on the right, but this may be achieved with some css code, and you can contact our support team for that by submitting a ticket at https://elated.ticksy.com . Also please share a link to your site in the ticket. Also ask support for title colors since depending on template which is used different setting can be used or also css code can be applied if needed.

Hi. I have a problem with the portfolio section but only on Edge Browser. When I click one of the categories the first time it works fine, but when I click the second one or any other, all the pictures or material included in there disappears. I made a try on Edge with your Demo (Live preview) and it happens the same thing.
How can it be fixed?

I am trying to add 2 different elated sliders in the same page but there’s only 1 section for 1 slider code. Is there any way i can add one more separate elated slider in the same page?

Slider shortcode field is only for slider shortcode which will be positioned at the top of the page and it can accept Elated slider or Layer Slider shortcode. Elated slider can be placed on a page only trough this field and only one slider can exist because of its specific full height option. If you want multiple sliders on a page then you need to use Layer Slider and to add it to page over appropriate shortcode in Visual Composer.

Latest WooCommerce is minor release but there will be some outdated files which needs to be updated, but everything should be working fine. Also it is always good practice to create full site backup before update. Woo update contain improvements as explained in this article https://woocommerce.com/2017/10/whats-new-woocommerce-3-2/ . We will prepare theme update as soon as possible, but as explained except message regarding outdated templates plugin will continue to work just fine.

Hello, love the theme. I have a question. I want to change all my social icons and back to top icon from square (default) to circular. Primarily the social icons in my header and footer. I tried to edit the shortcode for the footer and header to say type=”circle” instead of “square” but no change? Same with back to top button doesn’t seem to give me the option to change from square to circle? Thanks for your help!

Regarding icons in widgets create them on some blank testing page with icon shortcode and configure everything to your liking and after that copy raw shortcode for icons from text editing mode and paste it inside desired widget area Custom HTML widget. visual composer is not included with the theme?

Visual Composer is included with the theme, and you can install bundled plugins from notice at the top of the screen in your WordPress back end. In case that you closed that message it won’t appear again, and in that case activate some other theme and then activate Borderland again, and notice will appear again and you will be able to install all included plugins.

All our themes are bundled with Visual Composer page builder and all theme custom elements are adopted to this builder, so although you can try to use different page builders you won’t be able to achieve same look like presented on theme demo pages.

Can I add a slider above the split screen home page? When I do, I cannot scroll.

Vertical split slider will occupy 100% page height so you can’t place additional content above or below. In this case content can be placed only within left or right sliding areas.

Unfortunately it is not possible to add content above or below when vertical split slider is in use, and only workaround would be to create vertical slider with some other plugin like maybe revolution slider, and then you will be able to place content above and below of it, even additional sliders.

I do have Layer slider, but when I create a new row and add it, i can no longer scroll through my split screen page after that. I t just stays on the homepage.
Yes, but as explained when vertical split slider it is impossible to have additional content below or above it because it is using entire page height, and there is no scrolling.

When do we get a new update of this theme for WP 4.8.2. There are some issues e.g. with visual composer text box (it doesn’t show list of H1, H2, etc and other text tools list).
Also I had to struggle with Layer Slider background video. It doesn’t show in iPhone and iPad. I made on alternate image with css and hide the slider in mobile (hides both phone and tablet). But would be nice, if the video would show in tablets too. Is that possible?

Thank you, is there any new update of the plugins at downloads here? I have Layer Slider 6.4.0 (wants 6.5.8 now) and Visual Composer 5.0.1 (wants 5.2.1 update). Automatic update isn’t possible. I’ll post a ticket if there isn’t updates.

Automatic update is not available since those plugins are included in our theme as bundled plugins and they need to be updated to latest version with theme update. Ugh, my support has expired ages ago. :/
I found out that Text Block Settings popup window shows lists behind of the window. If I move the window, I can use the list e.g. colorpanel for the text. Not sure is that Wordpress bug or Visual Composer bug.
I don’t know if there is any fix with background video and Layer Slider showing in iphone.

Hi, i’m using Borderland for a new website project, the former one has been deleted. So im trying to install the elated slider and visual composer, but there is no license code, ind the two license text files. Where the code should have been, they’re empty. I can see that i still have my old account in your support forum, but since i closed my project, the support license has expired. So i can’t place a ticket in your support system. Is there a way for me to retrieve my old license codes for the plugins? i have my purchase code for the theme, but i dont have the old license files any longer. Visual Composer and LayerSlider plugins come with our theme as bundled plugin via extended licence we have bought. More about it can be found in this article https://elated.ticksy.com/article/10866/ and also there is another useful link on Envato about bundled plugins in that article.
So, VC and LayerSlider will work fine for you, just ignore messages and warning about activation of it.

Am using the Bronco version of the Borderland theme. I want to only list services on one page of the portfolio and want to add a portfolio list separate from the original for services to display my artists.
I noticed you’ve built in a feature called something like “disable Listing ID’s” but I cannot figure out what my listing ID would be to specific portfolio pieces.

You can check ID for each portfolio/page/post while in the back-end of the portfolio/page/post just take a look at address bar and there will be part
...post=some number...as here https://www.screencast.com/t/8oDBd9V9 , so that number is actually portfolio’s/page’s/post’s ID and just use that ID.
Also, we can suggest you to get similar functionality using different Portfolio Categories, since in each Portfolio List element there is an option to show only desired category https://www.screencast.com/t/ej1YxoA10xd5 .

Hello Hope all you are fine I have been working on a site using your template… everything was fine until I started to have problems with my navegation menu. Somehow I cannot navegate from page to page… what is wierd is that I used to be avalible to navegate but now something happens. when you put the mouse over the title of the page in the menu, the link appears in the button left of the page (like any other site) but when you clikc on it… now it wont go anywhere… what can I do? could you please help me?
