Hi Pirenko. When I try to edit Slides in my new Hook Theme, unlike all the other pages, I can only edit in Visual and Text. There is no option to edit in WP Bakery Page Builder. Why is that – it makes it much harder to change the existing theme slide features? Heather

Hi, I have a problem with the gallery and the menu. I placed section and in the section I placed Latest Portfolio. I created two portfolios with pics and when I click on both of them 404 error page appear. And for the Menu, I create one menu with anchors but it refuse to appear on the screen. Help please I’m in hurry and I need to fix it as fast as possible.

Hi There. When I installed the extra plugins on my Hook theme I got the error message on all three:

Warning: sprintf() [function.sprintf]: Too few arguments in /home/content/47/8363047/html/wp-admin/includes/class-bulk-upgrader-skin.php on line 154

Should I worry about that?

I just installed “Hook” on my Wordpress and tried to update the plugins “Hook Framework” and “WPBakery Page Builder” but it won’t allow me to update them.

The error says “Plugin not activated. A higher version of Hook Framework is needed for this theme. Please update the plugin.”

It shows that I have the highest version of the plugin available. Minimum version needed 2.4. Available is 2.4. Why won’t it update?

I see that your Hook theme is compatible with WPML (you also mentioned Polylang worked as well?). Before trying any of these plugins out, I just want to be sure: do either plugin work with the portfolio functionality of the theme? As most of the text i need translated is located in a portfolio page.

Hi, I’v bought your hook theme and I have two problems

1) I want my menu to look like this http://www.pirenko-themes.com/hook/creative/ but I don’t know how to set colors in menu tab in theme options to produce the menu in the mentioned link above.

2) Is it possible to mix a text slider like this one http://www.pirenko-themes.com/hook/creative/ with image slider like this one http://www.pirenko-themes.com/hook/business/ ???? I want it in a way that after changing each image I see a text slider and after finishing, next picture would show up with the new text. Best, Ramin

I purchased your Hook theme and have a web designer helping me with it at aileenharkwood.net. First of all, gorgeous theme. I love it. Would be even more awesome if there was a skin for authors/writers.

However, we’ve run into a couple of problems.

1. In some browsers, notably Safari (all desktop versions), and some versions of Firefox, the header graphic gets cut off on both sides. It doesn’t matter how we zoom in or out or drag the window open or closed, the graphic (1600 px wide) is always cut off on right and left in these browsers. It’s fine in Chrome. Neither I nor my designer has IE, so we can’t report about that.

2. We can’t figure out how to adjust the leading between lines of body text. It looks like it’s always 1.5em with no choice for the equivalent of single spacing. This is fine when you have a single column of text, but when you have multiple columns of text next to each other it gets more difficult to read. I tried pulling up the CSS sheet in the WP dashboard and other than a few lines of text about the theme, there’s nothing there. I can’t find the actual CSS code to adjust.

Would you possibly have a fix for these issues? We would really appreciate your assistance.

I just purchased your Hook theme and I installed it. The theme does not look like the demo so I am going through the instructional video you included to get this set up.

The instructional video states that I should be prompted to install some required plugins. However, I was not prompted to install the plugins and I cannot seem to find the plugins anywhere. Where/how do I install the required plugins?

Hi Pirenko, I know my Support has expired but the Portfolio VC has stopped working. I started adding Portfolio pages but when I preview and attempt to click on them the page just doesn’t load. Ive tried everything including rebuilding the Portfolio page as well as deleting all of the Portfolio entries (and yes I have deleted the browser cache and tried different browsers) but nothing makes it work. I appreciate you want me to pay for support but I think this is a theme issue. If im wrong and im doing something wrong then im happy to struggle on. My website is andypeck.co.uk

We’re using your Theme Hook (Stylish Showcase) in combination with woocommerce. This worked fine. But there is one little issue. When customers choose a product and add it to the cart (in our case an appointment) there is no possibility to delete the items from the cart. In standart themes there is a little ‘x’ showing for deleting Items. I asked the owner from the appointment plugin and their answer is about the theme which overrides some settings. Where can I find this and is it possible to add?

I’m using the Hook Theme since the beginning of this year, version 1.3. Since the latest update of WordPress the Visual Composer doesn’t work right anymore. I’m not able to select any header style option anymore in the text block. Text in the text block is now scrambled. Can you advice? I’m using WPBakery Visual Composer version 5.0
