I bought the Avada theme 4 years a go. I thought in wordpress it gets upgraded automatic since I put the credentials in the setup on my site. Today I found I have version 3.9.1 and on this site the author talking about version 5.2 and advising of downloading Version 4.3 in order to upgrade from 3.9.x, however I could not find anywhere how to download version 4.3 recently I had problem in google map and theme would do not accept changing the options for the map.

Auto update never updates your theme on its own for you actually, Auto Update only notifies you of an available theme update and than you can simply update it using 1 single click, however since now you are on a very older version of theme you have to do step updates and we have a very detailed article about this that you can read here => http://bit.ly/2pPNngZ

Is Avada theme compatible with composite products in WooCommerce?

We have not yet tried this plugin with our theme so can not provide you with a 100% guarantee however its a woocommerce extension so you should be able to use it just fine, if not please do open a support ticket with us and our team will gladly assist you.

Just edit the code block and you should be able to make the change, if you do not see the code there please check the code block encoding option from Avada > Theme Options > Advanced > Theme Features

Hey TF,
When setting up a transparent background for header for instance, whole content below it will move up and header itself will get over it as if z-index was defined. Same goes for title bar, if set to be transparent, it will go underneath the header-top area.
Its kind of frustrating not to be able to set the transparency of the header, or other areas without them losing their position.
Is there a way around this?

This is the default behaviour of how transparent color for header works, that is why it should always be used when you either have a slider or an image at the top of the page because if you haven’t than transparent header doesn’t make any sense, however if you still want to use it you can either assign top padding or margin to your body content or to the page title bar.

Hello – I can’t see any content on the backend of my pages after upgrading the theme to its latest version. It seems nothing on the backend of the pages is clickable and I can’t toggle between Default editor or Fusion Builder. Fusion Builder doesn’t even come up.

We do not and have never bundled the Woocommerce plugin with Avada. The plugin is design integrated with Avada, meaning styling for the theme is part of the set up but not core functionality is touched.

We do have an option to set a different sidebar for product categories and single product, please go to Avada > Theme Options > Sidebars > Product Category / Products

Hello, A question from a noob (never used Wordpress). I am suing Weebly now, and I’m thinking about replacing it woth Wordpress and Avada. Can you maybe help with the decision please? Why is is better to use Avada? Secondly, I would like to ask if I can install plugins with Avada? Like I buy a new pricing plugin from codecanyon, can I easily install it with Wordpress and use it? Will I be able to add it as a new element? Like with a new pricing table, or any other codes that lets you insert elements that WordPress/Avada does not have by default.

Two quick questions before I buy. I have a lot of existing products that are variable. I know your theme is compatible with woocommerce which I am using. When I update my these to yours will my variable product settings stay in place and they will just take over your themes look or will I have to reconfigure them?
Also is there any known plug in conflicts with yith woocommerce membership?

As far as those products are also WooCommerce based, no matter if they are variable or simple products you are good to go, we are 100% compatible with WooCommerce so no variations or anything at all will be lost, however if anything was added additionally by the theme such as any custom meta for the product that will not be carried forward, other than the products and their variations will take over without any issues in our theme. Regarding your query on the other membership plugin you should be good to go however we have not officially tested all the 3rd party plugins with our theme so can not provide a 100% guarantee about any specific plugin here.

Hi, I know there’s the option to set container visibility for small, medium and large screens but I need to be able to set certain containers to not appear on mobile devices at all. How can I do this please? Ideally, I’d like to create two containers, one to show only on desktops and tablets, the other to show only on mobiles. It’s a feature I miss from the Envision theme.

This is exactly the Visibility System is for isn’t? If you simply disable the visibility for Small Screens for both container they will both be disabled for mobiles only and will be visible for desktop and tablets, is this not how its working for you?

Hi, I think you misunderstood.
I want two containers, one container to appear on mobiles only and the other container to appear on desktops and tablets only.
On other themes I have used in the past, the options were based on device not resolution. The problem with resolution is all mobile phones have a high res so you can’t differentiate between desktops and mobiles with your themes options as they both have high res these days.
So, I would like the option to select {if mobile device show container A} {if not mobile device show container B}

Can you please be so kind to open a support ticket so we can discuss this further in details? any theme you must be using have to use media queries to differentiate between the mobile devices, tablets and desktop. There is no other way to let the browser know that on what device its rendering the page

Columns in one container are breaking the line(row) when I delete or add to containers above or below a specific (container+row+column) section. I checked settings for “last” and “column spacing” all seems correct- and again- settings weren’t changed. Only edits to containers above or below were made but a specific set of columns (ie..counter boxes) will has begun breaking the line when the page is editing. Why does this happen? Is it a cache issue?

It can’t be a cache issue if its happening every time you put a column inside the container, it must be the spacing value that is causing it, have you tried by inspecting the element and observing where the gap is coming from?

Our theme put no limit at all on the media, the only limit that is assigned to the image must be from your server where they can change it inside the PHP if they want to.

You mean you changed the theme file in this case? the single portfolio PHP file? if you made the edit in parent theme and you have updated the changes have been replaced by the original file in this case, whenever you plan on making a change to your theme files its better to always use a child theme for these purposes, you can read all about the child theme here please => http://bit.ly/1J9BW7n
