Good Morning
I have installed the theme but every time I try to activate I get a 500 error, I have used a .user.ini file to amend the settings but nothing has helped, has anyone else had this problem?

The 500 error is an internal server error: https://www.lifewire.com/500-internal-server-error-explained-2622938 You should contact your hosting to run a check-up and see what might cause this.

My hosting has ran a check up and all is fine their end – I can show you my phpinfo.php if you need me to? I still keep getting a 500 error when trying to activate so must be something wrong wtih the theme?

My checkout page layout is really messed up/completely unusable using default template, copying over new form-checkout.php from the WooCommerce GitHub fixes a lot of things though. Think the template is outdated? Various other template files also reporting outdated under the Woocommerce status link. Woocommerce, Wordpress and ShopKeeper theme are all up to date.

The main ecommerce engine of the theme is WooCommerce which controls the shop part. By default WooCommerce doesn’t include a Pay U payment method but I’m pretty sure you’ll find a plugin with this option.

“P.s. Choosing to display Categories & Subcategories does not display products at all!! Here’s what I did: on woocommerce page I went to product display<.strong> and chose: Shop page display – Show Categories & Default category display – Show Subcategories….no products appear…”
What’s the solution to fix it???

I need help! I have been trying to upload the theme into WordPress but this message keeps popping in “are you sure you want to do this? please try again” and I have read the solution and have upgraded the maximum upload size even to 64MB but the same thing is happening. How can I fix this?

You have four available product layouts which can be found by navigating to Shopkeeper > Customize > Product page. If none of the layouts doesn’t have the product description placed where you want it, then most probably you’ll need to use custom code to change position.

I’ve encountered a very concerning bug. Whenever I add something to the cart and the page is manually refreshed the product that was previously added gets re-added to the cart. This can be done multiple times and it will keep adding the same product to the cart. How can I fix this?

You should go through the Troubleshooting Guide first and if that won’t help you get to the bottom of it, please reach out to the support team and provide a link to your site and a temporary admin username and password so we can look into it.

Hello, I have been trying since 2014 to get this site up and running. I think my programmer is having serious issues with the theme. Can I personally contact/pay the support team to help me with a proper integration of this theme? All I need is one hour skype call with me/my programmer/and you. I am having SERIOUS issues and would love to get this up and running. It is breaking my heart that I don’t have this company up and running yet. I think I am also have issues with the right hierarchy for pages/products/portfolios/categories. I think there is a conflict with my permanlinks giving me 404 errors (duplicate areas with similar permalinks). I need some heroic support, please help!

Hello. I recently purchased this theme and I desperately need some help. The only thing I cannot get right, even modifying the css is the Variation drop downs. I want to horizontally align Color, Size and Quantity like in this concept https://i.imgur.com/Tmsc1Wi.png . I just can’t figure any way to do this. Please if you could give me some advice on what to do or what to read.

I really want to use the default product page style 1. But style 1 crops the bottom of the product image. If you resize the browser window even slightly, the full image shows. Here’s an example: https://americanartwork.net/navigate/art-glass/
Alexandru in support said the image is slightly small for the placeholder, and his solution is to resize the image. I couldn’t make this work, and it’s not a practical solution with 980 products. I expressed this to him, but haven’t heard back.
Is Style 1 programmed to hard crop images?? If so, can this be turned off?
Also, is there any code suggestions to hide the sidebar on the Vendor’s Shop page when using WC Vendors? Alexandru hasn’t gotten back to me on this either.

When I have the slider added with the big main pictures on my home page like in the ecommerce demo one. It looks fine on desktop but on mobile there is a white bar at the top between the top menu bar and the image. Ive checked the container settings and colums and rows and didnt see any padding or anything. Also its set to full height so Idk what the issue is
How can i fix this white space?

You need to make sure the page template is set to be Full width and on the first row and column you can replace the empty paddings and margins with 0px instead.

Hi, I’m trying to get to the bottom of my slow loading Woocommerce checkout page. Could you tell me what version of Select2 the Shopkeeper theme is using?
This article explains that WooCommerce 3.0 now uses Select2 v4, where many plugins/themes still use Select2 v3, and that authors should update to v4 to be compatible.

Shopkeeper is based on the Select2 which is included in newest version of WooCommerce. So Shopkeeper uses V4.

The child theme is a must once you decide to use custom code to change the parent theme files. You just need to copy the file you want to edit from the parent theme to your child theme and do the changes in there. Please reach out to the support team if you have any further questions.

To add a gallery to your homepage by using the Media Grid or Masonry Media Grid elements. The built in option is to choose which images to show and if you want to randomly show them, you can use custom code.
