I don’t have support anymore, but have a few questions. Looks like 1.4 has been updated to 1.5—What is the best way to upload the theme and activate? I want to make sure I don’t overwrite anything I have already set up. Which one should I upload—> the child theme or regular theme? Is this done similarly to how you would update plugins? Also, is this new theme compatible with woocommerce 3.2.5 and page builder 5.4.5? Should I update the theme first then plugins? Sorry for all the Qs?

Please update the theme to the most recent version following the directions below:
1. Make the full site backup.
2. Navigate to wp-content/themes directory on FTP and rename the kingler-theme folder to kingler-theme123, for example.
3. Then upload the unzipped kingler theme from the new theme update package to wp-content/themes directory on FTP.
4. With that done correctly, you should go to Appearance – Themes in admin and should see version 1.5 for the parent theme instead of version 1.4 Please do not click ‘Activate’ in order not to lose the changes. If the old kingler-theme theme is renamed on FTP and the new version is uploaded via FTP properly ( see points 2-3 above), you should see the new theme version already activated.
Also, please note that if you use the child theme for your site, please make sure to have the child theme backup as well, also please note that if you activate the parent theme instead of the child theme, you will lose all settings. In order to avoid that, please read this article (it is on Invetex theme, so please note that in your case it will be ‘jkingler-theme’ instead of ‘invetex’ in the code: https://themerex.ticksy.com/article/9476 Yes, the theme is compatible with the latest Woocommerce and Visual Composer versions.

when I install the dummy data it give an error and the hosting does not meet the dummy installation requirement is their any other way to fix this problem?

Hi, I realize that my support has ended. May I have the xml of the demo data? I’ve tried everything on the support pages and it remains at 0% on Posts when trying to import the dummy data. Ive made the changes to .htaccess and php.ini.

The dummy data installation depends on your server settings. Please contact your hosting provider to make sure that your PHP configuration limits are as follows:
max_execution_time 600
memory_limit 256M
post_max_size 32M
upload_max_filesize 32MI would also recommend you to set On for allow_url_fopen. You may do it in the following way:
- by means of adding php_value allow_url_fopen On – into .htaccess file
- by means of adding allow_url_fopen = On; – into php.ini or php5.ini file
Make sure Safe mode is off on your server.
Then re-import the dummy data and it should go through.

I am experiencing an issue in the “Contact” page of the Kingler Weapon Store Theme. I have tried to send several Test Emails using the provided fields for customers to submit their information. When the form is complete and the user is ready to send, when clicking the ‘Send Message’ button, it doesn’t seem to process the email properly. I did not receive any errors when submitting the ‘Contact Us’ test emails. I have verified the email settings and systems through my hosting service, but cannot seem to navigate where the Template ‘Send Message’ Button is pointing. If you use any extra plugins, please make sure to deactivate them one by one and test the form after that to see if it works. You can also try going to Appearance – Theme Options – Contact Info and replace Mail function from PHP Mail to WP Mail or vice versa.
If the issue still persists, please provide us with your wordpress admin login and FTP credentials via the email where we had this issue discussion with you.

First of all – you do not need to pay for anything. We are just trying to get any ticket from you or at least an email where we can send the ‘uploads’ folder so that you can try uploading the images in an alternative way. We did not get any ticket from you so far (you do not have to pay for submitting the pre-sales ticket) or any email in order to send you the ‘uploads’ folder with images – this is the only thing we are asking for, per our previous replies. We are not asking for any extra payments or anything like this.
As for the dummy data, it is installed via the admin in our themes, so there is no any file or folder with the dummy data that we can email, it is just not included, the dummy data is installed via the admin panel in Wordpress automatically, not via the file. Dummy data installation depends on your server settings. Please contact your hosting provider to make sure that your PHP configuration limits are as follows:

So on that page, it’s under the Public Ticktes tab…that would have been nice to know…. There is nowhere to submit a pubic ticket, or a presales question….the only place I see is at th top of the page and it requires paid support.
