Hey, I’ve noticed that the parallax does not properly display on mobile. Is there a way to fix this? Currently the background images remain static as you scroll. Also the images in the background do not properly display on iOS devices.

are you using HighSierra? If so, the issue you are talking about is a new browser feature. Yes, we are not kidding its a feature. If you right click into your URL bar you can find site settings and inside these site settings you can allow or disallow video autoplay.

How does one set the Portfolio Post Type to “Gallery” (or Video/Quote) It’s been a long time since I’ve used Brooklyn and the documentation only mentions that they are supported… but not how to set them. We have several old portfolio posts set with “Gallery” type… the setting for this used to be located on the right of the post editor near the |Publish| button. Thank you

yes, the mentioned post formats have been removed. Now you need to use set this option below the editor. Inside the “United Themes Metapanel”. Hope this helps.

We have our portfolio set so that the portfolio posts normally appear as a pop-up within the main portfolio page.
But what if we want to send a specific link of a project to a client. eg:

I tried the Meta settings -> “Slider Items”but that only gives the option to add or edit the hero slider.
We don’t want a fullscreen hero slider, or a page full of blurred gallery thumbnails here.

but for single pages you don’t need to specify a Hero Type, you can simply turn it off and style your content to your needs. We have done the same on different demos such as:

Sorry to bother, but having a major problem with anchor links in top nav – seems they dont work anymore (see http://bhsouthafrica.co.za/) What is the general practice to have anchor links that scroll to the section on the main page.

hi there, i have updated the theme and replaced the files for chrome as suggested. My navigation menu still doesn’t work in chrome. can you please help. thanks

the fix we provided definitely works. Except the portfolio plugin is deactivated. Please make sure the files are really updated on your server (check their date) and clear your browser cache and if using a cache plugin, clear the cache plugin cache as well.

After the update to fix the ‘Chrome menu Bug’ I find that my (media sliders) are much bigger then before the update. Also the ( hero caption style’s do not work. Good someone tell me what I did wrong?

the fix definitely works except the portfolio is inactive. If the plugin is active you definitely have a cache issue. Maybe you are running a cache plugin which needs to be cleared as well?

there is no way to edit settings manually. These settings are stored in your database in a serialized array. You should solve the jquery issue, in this case, starting with disabling 3rd party plugins one by one and see if the error vanishes.
