Hi, I’m interested in buying this theme, although I do have a few questions.
I’m thinking of using the JobSeek theme for a slightly different purpose.
The idea is that indepentent contractors/entrepreneurs are able to post a task/assignment that they would like to see fulfilled by outsourcing the task/assignment.
Example: A fitness coach would like to hire someone to manage his Social Media Advertising for him. He doesn’t want to employ someone, so he’s looking to outsource the job.
He goes to my website and posts a job ‘Social Media Advertising Specialist wanted’.
Freelancers/Companies that are specialized in Social Media Advertising can respond to this job posting.
The Fitness Coach is able to view all the replies to his job posting on his end, and chooses to outsource the job to the Freelancer that replied.
Is this possible with the theme?
The job posting is free, and replying to a job requires a monthly membership that requires a monthly fee. Is this also possible with JobSeek?

this all doesn’t sound like a ‘different purpose’. As I see it – task/assignment is a job, and the candidate is the one who will do that job.
Then there is an application process, which allow to manage incoming applications – give private notes, ratings, and organised by status (e.g. interviewed, new, archived).
Charging scheme like you described is possible with this plugin.

1/2) yes, signup-login is option for both posting a job or resume or searching.
3/4) Sorry I don’t understand, what you mean by “import in a single way”?
5) Everything is described on theme description page, also we have two demos specially because of that, please also read what demo selection page says.
6) By default there is no difference or limitation for both roles. You can post both jobs and resume and access all features.
7) WP Job Manager build the way that company information is attached to each job, there is no such thing like company.
There is Indeed addon, on WP Job Manager site, if you need it.
9) Its built around most popular WP job board – WP Job Manager plugin and its addons, also it has page builder, so yes.
10) Do you ask if you need to buy any addons to have resumes section? If so – yes, you need a Resume Manager addon, check description.

I have created a new resume field called resume_phone to input the candidates phone number with wp job manager field editor that works well in the back end but I would like to display this on the front end when you click the candidates page. Do you have the code for this please?

I recently purchased a theme similar to this but during development, I discovered that my users can only apply by submitting a resume and truck drivers in my field don’t have resumes. So before purchasing the questions I have are:
1) Does a user have to submit a resume to apply?
2 )If they do not need a resume can I customize the form the user fills out when applying?
3) Does the user have to purchase a package before being able to apply for jobs or can they just start sending out applications?

3) By default nothing is required. If you want you can charde for various action (post a job, apply etc.) with additional plugin.

Yes, distance still require a geolocation plugin. WP Job Manager can only find jobs with Location field.
Increased theme value. I was going to buy it now. Yesterday the money had not fallen on my card. In this value I prefer to look at another theme. They raised $ 10. What a shame they increased the value of the theme. Yesterday the theme was for 49 dollars.
We did a big update and we decided that we can increase the price to the level of our competitors. We will continue improving the theme. Its sad if you decide what theme to choose based on $10 difference. As for us – its our work, and its our right to set the price on it, there is no any shame in it as you said.
Hi there – I’ve just bought the theme and all going well but stuck on the logo size… There are posts here that refer to a ‘logo height’ in the customisation menu but there doesn’t seem to be one on mine. I’ve tried styling it with CSS but to not much avail. Can you advise on the easiest way to insert a responsive logo and what dimensions in pixels is the ideal? Cheers

Yes – I believe so – I only purchased it the other day and I’ve checked for updates through the CMS. If that’s the case, what size do I need to make the log for it to fit… If I increase the size of the logo, the header increases massively which in turn is distorting the navbar because the Login button is styled differently…
Also, how do I create a logo that is sharp for a retina screen? And where do I insert it? Is there a separate option for that?

So there are some issues with the login button? Can you please share a link?
The idea now if that you can upload logo of any size, and depend on image size header will expand (if its larger). If you want a smaller one – just make your logo smaller, and it will automatically adjust to its size.

Hello,
there is such things like “fully” functional or not functional. Additional plugin s are optional, for example you may not need a Resumes functionality, then you don’t need a Resume Manager addon.
In your case, you can post a job and let people apply for a job without any extra. But if you want to make application process more advanced, you may need Applications addon, which will save applications and keep them in the employer account. Bu default application process work like usual contact form.
Visual Composer and Slider Revolution are included with theme. Ys, you can use theme not only as a job site, but as usual site or even blog.

I was going through both the demos basic as well advanced to understand the difference between them in terms of features.
I am making this website for recruitment agency which has a team of 2 to 5 people who will post jobs on behalf of their client companies. I don’t have to maintain candidates database (meaning no need to enable candidate registration)
I just want my client should be able to post jobs on their clients behalf and candidates should be able to apply to job using the contact form.
I tried to apply for job feature in basic demo but it is not allowing me to upload docx file. I checked I think it has contact form 7 integrated in it? Can you enable this feature if I buy this basic theme without paid plugins?
Can you please give me exact difference between features of basic and advanced website.
I doubt if I purchase the basic website theme I would stuck somewhere and then end-up spending more for more features.
Its the low budget website and I am not in a position to buy additional paid plugins. I want that only basic theme version should fulfill my client requirement.

if you just want a job postings site with ability to apply via contact form it is exactly what is basic setup capable of.
You can customize apply form as you wish with the Contact Form 7 plugin. It easy to control what document (resume) formats are allowed – PDF, TXT and other you want you can setup in the CF7 upload field settings. With this option application process with be only via email. You can set multiple email destination if you want.
But for example with the Applications addon, apply process will be more organized and flexible. All applications will be saved in the special area in WP admin with some other nice features.

I am a non-technical person. With limited knowledge, I have been using many plugins and theme and am doing pretty good. I hope this theme does not require any technical knowledge to make best use of it. I hope I can manage good with this.. Can I?
I have few concerns before I decide on purchasing
1. Ours is into only healthcare industry and can I create categories like doctors, nurses, paramedics etc…
2. Embed feature allows us to generate a source code that has to be embeded in other website to display specific categories, location based job listing. Am I right on this? If so is it only in wordpress sites or any sites.
3. Before posting, is it possible to charge the employer? or one has to subscripe to one of the package and then post the job.
4. Do you help in installing and customising the site? if so what is the fee
5. Once installed, is it ready to go live?
6. This theme for $49 is a basic one or advanced? If basic then what is the cost of advanced theme.
