Hello, I like your theme very much and it looks really great. I have been using your theme since March 2017 and it was working with no issues. But recently started to notice a problem in the Billing Details in the Checkout Page.
The issue is with the Country & State drop-down fields in the billing details in Checkout page. The drop-down fields for Country,State not populating the values properly.
Any suggestions,please?
Thanks.
Hi @mail2memani,
Happy you enjoy working with Shopkeeper!
Please make sure you’re using the newest version of the theme (V2.3.1) and WooCommerce V3.2.3. Also you can try and deactivate your 3rd party plugins and remove custom code. This issue can’t be replicated on our end and seams to be site specific.
Cheers,
Alexandra
i may have found a bug in theme. Icon font does not work correctly in plugin i use Slider Revolution, Visual Composer and ultimate addon for visual composer. For now only these are installed on my test site. But at the moment I have a site with the same problem www.edscomputer.com Sorry for my poor English!
Hi @Gecata1,
If these icons are added using Ultimate addon plugin, then the issue might be because the font isn’t loaded into the website. My suggestion is to reach out to the plugin support because this isn’t a theme issue.

Alexandra
when changing theme icons are displayed correctly I tried 5+ different theme only on Shopkeeper do not work correctly
We had a user reporting this issue a couple of weeks ago and he opened a support request on the plugin support and they helped fixing the issue. So go ahead and ask for support!

Alexandra
Dear getbowtied team,
thank you for your outstanding work on this theme!
I would like to give you some feedbacks for future implementations in your theme.
Let’s talk about the top bar.
If you try to add text un the top bar and space it with more spaces (like this “email: abc@abc.com phone:123456789”) it just does not read the additional space chars. This ends with only one space char been displayed (the final text is then “abc@abc.com phone:123456789”).
The second thing is that it would be nice to add phone and email links (with icons maybe) in the top bar.
Now let’s speak about the top main menu.
You should add the chance to let the user pick the menu color when you scroll down and you should be able to choose, if you want your logo to disappear or not (right now you must use css).
Then you should be able to change the colors of all buttons on the site with color pickers (maybe I did not see this option).
Last thing: I see here (http://themecheck.org/score/wordpress-theme-shopkeeper.html) that your theme has many errors. Are you going to fix them?
That’s all for now, thank you again very mch for this theme and I whish you a good day!
Hello,
Thanks for your feedback!
Some of the things you mention can be changed by using small portions of Custom CSS. My suggestion is to reach out to the support team and seek for support.

We are experiencing problems with password field at our checkout page. When users choose to select “Create an account” checkbox, no password field is shown at checkout page. But when we choose to Proceed with order we get an error that “Account password is a required field.” How do we fix this problem. Thanks for support.
Hi there,
That doesn’t seems to be happening at this end and we would like to help you get to the bottom of this issues. You should go through the Troubleshooting Guide first and if that won’t help you get to the bottom of it, please reach out to the support team and provide a link to your site and a temporary admin username and password so we can look into it.

is there a way to use my own increments when we are using the line chart? I would like the numbers to go up by 100 rather than 10s

My support JUST expired. Hoping that someone can give me some assistance here without my having to extend it for such a small issues. Just updated my shopkeeper theme and now none of the icons (even in the menu area) are showing. All I get in an empty box in place of what was once an icon. Any ideas? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Hello,
We did further research and the new theme update (2.3.1) includes a fix for missing icons. Please update the theme and let me know if the issue remains. Don’t forget to clear your cache before checking the website.
Cheers,
Alexandra
You are beautiful. I had checked and I WAS running 2.3.1, but just checked again and there is a new version 2.3.2. THIS upgrade fixed my icon issues. (or maybe my 2.3.1 upgrade did not take?) Anyway – good to go! and I AM going to re-up my support account on launch day in case I need any quick assistance. Thanks again! There is nothing cooler than purchasing something knowing you have good support waiting to help!
We’re happy to help and thank you for your patience! Don’t forget to rate the theme, we absolutely love feedback!
Cheers,
Alexandra
Has there been any compatibility issues with WooCommerce 3.2.0 or 3.2.2? I have had a serious bug after recent updates to WooCommerce and a couple of other plugins, which I have deactivated with no change to issues.
I also have updated ShopKeeper to the 2.3.
Thanks
Hi @thebizguys,
We’re not aware of any compatibility issues when using the newest version of the theme and WooCommerce. But we definitely want to know more.
Please reach out to the support team and provide a link to your site and a temporary admin username and password so we can look into it.

My support has expired so I can’t seem to submit a ticket.
Basically with Shopkeeper, my site (http://www.whaleandbird.com) has 8 main categories on the menu at the top of the page. On full desktop size it shows them all and on mobile it condenses down into a hamburger menu button. That is all fine.
However, some size screens will show the site in a lower resolution, but not low enough for mobile view. This causes some of the menu categories to fall off the menu. I can hover my mouse around and see that they get pushed under the logo, but white text on white background makes them invisible.
You can mimic this behaviour by resizing the internet browser window and watch as they are pushed off.
Any idea on how to solve this?
Hi @whaleandbird,
The theme is built to show the mobile menu on smaller devices including tablet and mobile. Once you resize the browser on desktop, that doesn’t necessarily mean that there is any device at that specific resolution. You can either organize your menu different to get fewer items or you can use custom code to change the breaking point of mobile menu. I can see the need for such a feature and I will submit a request to our developers to bear in mind this option for a future update.
Cheers, Alexandra
An ipad pro in landscape view acts as described and various websites that show you what a site looks like on various devices also seems to suggest there are quite a few other devices (netbooks and other laptops with smaller resolutions) where the menu will also cut off.
Hi Adrian, I updated the theme from 1.7.1 to 2.3 on my third level domain used for testing test.mydomain.com before updating mydomain.com but I can’t access to Theme options because the license key is not valid. Before updating I didn’t have any problems. How can I do? Thank you Andrea
Hi Andrea,
Make sure you’re using the newest version of GetBowtied Tools (V2.3.1) and if you’re using an older version you can simply delete the plugin and you’ll get a message to install it again. The newest version will be installed. This article should help: https://shopkeeper.wp-theme.help/hc/en-us/articles/115004176369-Dude-where-s-my-Theme-Options-panel

Thank you Alexandra, now it works!

Ever since I updated my theme my Icons are no longer showing and they have been replaced by an empty square. Please when is the next update or is there a way I can sort it out myself? Thanks
Hi @Ehizzy,
We’re not able to replicate the issue on our end. Can you please let us know on what OS and browser do you get the issue? Also you should go through the Troubleshooting Guide first and if that won’t help you get to the bottom of it, please reach out to the support team and provide a link to your site and a temporary admin username and password so we can look into it.

It is the same issue that @p-led and @sprado highlighted some days ago and this was your reply
“Thanks for getting involved in the conversation. You’re right, along with the latest update of the icon font package that !important slipped through. We’re planning to release a new theme update soon and we’ll make sure to include a fix for that as well.”
My support expired a couple of weeks ago and I won’t mind renewing it but only if I have a major problem. My site is gopinkdreams.com and the very first image on revolution slider you will see the square box instead of icon that I am talking about.
So as you said is this going to be fixed with another update or can It be sorted
....and yes I tried disabling all the plugins and when I used another theme the icons worked fine. This only started after the last update
Also the mega-menu is too wide. When I add an image some of the menu disappears. This did not happen on my local host.
We did further research and the new theme update (2.3.1) includes a fix for missing icons. Please update the theme and let me know if the issue remains. Don’t forget to clear your cache before checking the website.
Thank you. Working now

Hi there, I’ve just started setting up my wp site with Shopkeeper & Woo commerce. All plugins are installed & up to date. However when I go into Appearance / Widgets, none of the Woocommerce widgets are listed! Can you help please, I’m trying to setup a sidebar?? Thanks PS. I’ve tried to contact support but cannot login due to envato api issue (is there a support email I can get help from?)
Hi Jodine,
Just checked your support request and saw that you managed to find the WooCommerce widgets.

This is a reply to the conversation between @Sprado and @alexandra_getbowtied from yesterday regarding icons disappearing.
The same thing happened to me today after I updated to the latest release of v2.3, and I quickly found that shopkeeper/inc/fonts/shopkeeper-icon-font/style.css defines a Shopkeeper-Icon-Font on the <i> tag, and sets it to !important.
This is a TERRIBLE idea! This completely violates the principle of specificity!
From Mozilla Developer Network:- Always look for a way to use specificity before even considering !important
- Only use !important on page-specific CSS that overrides foreign CSS (from external libraries, like Bootstrap or normalize.css).
- Never use !important when you’re writing a plugin/mashup.
- Never use !important on site-wide CSS.
Hi @p-led,
Thanks for getting involved in the conversation. You’re right, along with the latest update of the icon font package that !important slipped through. We’re planning to release a new theme update soon and we’ll make sure to include a fix for that as well.

Alexandra
When i open the homepage, the page is all white but i can see the header, slider and the footer. Then i refresh again and i can see content again. There is some white layer over the page content when i return a few days later to the website. Can anyone help me with this issue?

The problem was the “fade in” effect from visual composer. I solved the problem turning it off in all the rows at the homepage.

Hello,
Since last update most of the icons I used on the site disappeared, I created them with visual composer. Now some of them show, some changed and some totally dissapeared.
Can you help?

Hello! I am not able to find how to update the theme. The links provided in the WP admin area or the suport pages are not helpful. The instructions on how to update on the official website are outdated. Could you please help me? Thank you
Hello,
The theme update article is not outdated so you can follow those instructions. The video showing how to do the update was removed because it was outdated but the screenshots are correct. So here’s how to update the theme: https://shopkeeper.wp-theme.help/hc/en-us/articles/207365285-How-to-update-the-theme
P.S. Don’t forget to connect your theme to your Envato account in Shopkeeper > Updates.
Cheers,
Alexandra
Hello Alexandra, thank you for reply. I have different display. I have version 1.9.3 without the possibility of updating
You have missed a lot of theme updates and I’m afraid I can only recommend you do a manual theme update, by removing the one you are using and install the new version which you can download from your Themeforest account. Make sure you do a website back-up and move all the custom code to a child-theme before doing this change.
Cheers,
Alexandra
Good morning. We installed the child theme. Now we would like to update the theme without uploading all the files manually, but using your method with product key and update from the wordpress dashboard. All our customizations are in the “Theme options” section. How can we update without losing all the custom css and javascript? Thank you
