Never ever called on your support and now it has expired. So it goes. In truth support is not what I need because reporting that the entire SSL of our sites has been failing for months due to the udesign included stylesheet references in the head section for the woocommerce plugins integration having http rather than https links and this persisting even with our htaccess file forcing https, persisting even through the removal of the woocommerce plugins is something I think you should know about. On trial today will be the deactivation and file deletion of udesign theme, and reinstall of the latest version. Let’s hope I do not have to pass a Death Sentence on the entire theme.

I can assure you that it’s not the theme, I have the theme set with SSL on many sites including the main demo: https://dreamthemedesign.com/themes/u-design/ also many of our clients have successfully converted their sites from http to https, however if you’re converting an existing site there could be a couple of things that you need to take care of to make sure all references are converted properly. A new client just approached me and he would like to have his uDesign theme updated from 1.4 to the latest version because the the woocommerce shopping cart page is not structured correctly and he can no longer find the guy that built the website to begin with. 1) Do I have to purchase the uDesign theme? 2)Will the theme create errors because I am updating from such an old version? 3) Can you provide update if I purchase the new theme. Wordpress is up to date. Thanks need a response ASAP

1 ) if you or your client don’t have access to the original ThemeForest account that was used to purchase the theme then yes, the only way to get the latest release would be to purchase your own license, the updates are free for life after that for that account. I recommend that the client owns that account and not the developer as I’ve seen many times the developer moves on and the client is left without a license or access to one, so it’s probably best if you tell your client to purchase the theme themselves. This week the theme is reduced price so it’s perfect timing for them.
2 ) I can’t tell because I don’t know what’s been done with the theme they have, the worst would be if someone had customized the theme by modifying theme core files. If the theme has not been modified then it should go relatively smoothly.
3 ) We don’t offer this as a service but you’ll have access to the theme’s support forum, where you may post your request – the support forum contains over 20,000 support threads that we have already resolved. Hi, it’s possibile to customize the content of taxonomy pages? (I mean Categories and Tags pages)
I tried to install the Rich Text Tags plugin (https://it.wordpress.org/plugins/rich-text-tags/) and also added the necessary snippet code to Archive.php file (https://katz.co/996/) but I can’t visualize the content I added.
It is a limitation of the theme?

Hi, i just updated u-design to the new version 2.13.8. But the cycle 2 which i used on the home is not working anymore. Cycle1 and 3 is ok an possible to use. Cycle2 only shows the first slide. Then nothing happens.
..sorry, i just tried it again and activate Cycle2- (1 day later) – now it´s working ;-))

I received an email to update the template. When I clicked on the link, the page says the download is no longer available. If I miss one update, is my site screwed? When will you be doing another update?

the latest files of your purchased items here on the ThemeForest website should always be available to download from the “Downloads” tab. If you had some difficulty with this it’s possible that you had some connectivity issues or maybe even some issues with the ThemeForest.net site, so just try again, usually they are on top of things and their site is almost never down.
This update is important because it brings compatibility to the just released WordPress 4.9.

I don’t see uDesign theme on my Download tab and list of purchase templates.
The last upgrade I download the zip file was created Friday, August 4, 2017 at 12:02 PM. Is this the latest one?
Right now your account is showing that you’ve never purchased the theme, did you use a different account before? Do you have two Envato/ThemeForest accounts?
If you always had the same account and the theme is missing from it now then I would suggest you contact Envato support, only they can resolve issues with user account, I can’t do anything about it. To contact them use this page: https://help.market.envato.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

My client like this theme and he have very strange requests. One of them is that he don’t want main menu on the site, he is in love with secondary menu position. Before we buy this theme, can you tell me, please, is it secondary menu have active link color option on the current page? Thanks

the theme offers through its options to set the following Secondary Menu Colors:- Background Color
- Background Opacity
- Text Color
- Link Color
- Link Hover Color

Thanks for the reply. Ok, this options is so good but I don’t see active link color for the current page on this list. So, there is no that option for secondary menu, right?
That could easily be added with CSS, I can give you the code when time comes, also keep in mind that this secondary menu bar is not just used for a menu, the menu is just one component (optional) there are two other components which can be used for social media icons or any text/HTML you see fit. In the case of the demo I usually put some contact info like email or phone, and a minimal menu with 2-3 items. Also, for the secondary menu bar the menu you add to it will only be one level, no dropdown, I’ve disabled the dropdown as I wanted this menu to play secondary role and the main menu stay full fetched with dropdowns, etc.

Hi i think i found bug. Plugin “eCommerce Product Catalog” broke down “Drag and Drop items” in wp-admin>u-design>settings>menus option>Secondary Menu. Text area 1, 2 and Menu doesn’t show when plugin is active.

thanks for reporting an issue however we don’t support third party plugins that are not related in any way or recommended by by us to be used with the U-Design theme. I’m not familiar with the plugin you mentioned so I’m not even sure if they follow best WordPress coding practices, etc.

Absolutely love your theme, and use it for a lot of websites. I do have a few suggestions for future updates that I hope you will take into consideration, which will make it even better and easier to use:
1. drop down menu icon: Currently you use a graphic for this, auto-arrows.png. The challenge is when you need to A) change up the color, and 
want to use a different icon.
SUGGESTION: Consider setting this up as a configuration option to choose font awesome icon, and color of their choice vs. superfish menu default. In the meantime if you have any idea on how to easily change this, I would appreciate it.
2. FEEDBACK side menu: Great feature, but it uses a set color that cannot be changed via CSS. Thus if it clashes with a site design, you have to create a new color one.
3. FOOTER SOCIAL ICONS: Uses colored graphics vs. FONT AWESOME. Yes I do see that the original PSD file is included, but thats a pain to have to keep going back to it for every site vs. just changing a CSS color.

Thank you for the great suggestions tpphost, regarding 3) you can use any icons really, I’m provided those as examples, but considering it’s all HTML you can replace them with what you wish, be it images, font awesome icons, fontello icons, etc.

hi, i purchased this theme. i have questions. First why the slider never change ? i want to use other example pages as home (“home page 2 example”) but still come same slider what ever i do. i try to change slider but same results. Only area changes under the slider. Other question is why you build all page in a 1 row. How we can edit it easly ? i dont have to see code like /one_fourth there is no necessary to use page builder then. Atleast someone tell me how to change that slider ? Thanks.
