Metronic 5 is nice, But its not complete IMO. I really like the way the assets are packaged, its lightweight and easy to manage assets. However, there are some shortcomings…
The one that is a deal breaker for me… and the reason i will go back to Metronic 4 is they seem to be trying to re-invent the wheel with basic responsive utility classes. They simply don’t work based on their semantic naming.
In addition there is almost no documentation outside of how to stand it up.
It will be a good product one day… but not up to par with Metronic 4 in terms of features and documentation.

Thanks for your feedback. I would suggest you to switch to v5.0 since its getting more complete update by update. Also v5.0 has some new features that v4.0 does not have. Also v5.0 has very powerful build tools to manage 3rd party plugins and theme assets more effectively.

Sorry. I think you misunderstood. Many people use this backend portal for people to check their email. So I am talking about a mail interface (inbox, compose, etc), not email templates to be sent to customers.

Hello, thank you for your hard work on the latest metronic template. I have noticed that the ‘Profit Share’ pie chart on the default dashboard template (http://keenthemes.com/metronic/preview/?demo=default) is not visible in IE 11 although it is visible in Chrome. Is there a quick fix I can apply so that I can start using it in IE? Thank you.

Seems this is the chartists plugin’s original bug where the animated donuts chart does not work in IE and Edge. We will try to find a replacement for this chart in the next update. Stay tuned!

Not sure if it has been reported but in demo 6 the left side navigation that opens on hover goes off the screen if the window is resized and some links are not accessible, This might help to explain a little better: https://i.imgur.com/1Hd1t93.png

Hello there and congrats for this theme, 1 question im trying to make my main sidebar stay open by adding the class “m-menu__item—open” througth php but the js still hides the menu and removes the class on load. you might also not want to mislead people with quotes from the old version as the new version’s code is no where near the quality of the old one, it’s good, but the old one is awesome.

Thanks for your suggestion. We are receiving really positive feedback on the new version as well. In fact we are still proving both versions. If you compare 2 versions, of course both has own advantages but the new version uses the latest tools and the best development practices to ensure Metronic future growth without any limit while the old version wouldn’t allow the same. Yes, some features are missing in the new version but that can we fixed really as we do regularly push updates with new features.
We understand that some customers think that the old version is much more easy to use, that is, no compilation, no gulp, no node.js, no bower, just drop and start using, but there is one key thing to note that the old version was developed using the older methods that can not be considered practical or effective nowadays. We have been receiving emails from customers who never used these new tools, but had to take some time to figure it out, and once they managed to install and try them, they really loved it.
Anyways, we do really value every single feedback we hear and tend to take them into account for the future growth of Metronic.

Some plugins are not compatible with Bootstrap 4 yet so we had to skip them in v5.x. But we are releasing whatever we can get working with Bootstrap 4. You can email us(support@keenthemes.com) your list of urgent features from the old version and we will do our best to release them as soon as possible.

When Query is present, the table returns no value. Although it has been requested via $_POST‘datatable’[‘getAccountId’] any thoughts?

Funny thing is when I remove the query and returned the same result * also getting the same result in DevTools *, the table starts to show.

Yes, everything is great when it comes to coding. I’ve followed the right term.
This is what I have done for the meanwhile.

$_POST‘datatable’[‘getAccountId’] and this setup returns the same response. The difference is that when I add params, nothing has been rendered, although the FullJSON element on the datatable returns the response, it was not rendered on the table.
Can you try to enable serverPaging?
