You certainly don’t need any coding experience at all to set up the theme like the demo and use it, but experience with WordPress in general is recommended, but not required.

I’m not sure what you mean, but if you are referring to the “Teaser” posts below the article, they will not count as a new page view. The visitor will actually need to click on the article for it to count as a page view.

Hi How hard it will be to modify theme in mobile when scroll up, to show only article and when scroll down to show sticky header and sharing icons?

That is basically what the theme shows now, but when you scroll up, the nav menu is also visible (and then disappears when you scroll down). If you only want the nav menu viisble when you reach the top of the page, that would require an adjustment in the javascript function that you would need to modify on your own.
At the moment we have scroll up share and scroll down header. I want on scroll down only the article and scroll up header and sharing, talking about article pages. Can you tell me which js file do it, I think I can modify it.

Hi, I want to launch my site by January n I really can’t think about another theme. My audience r Africans n there r some bandwidth concern which leads us to the first question. 1. Apart from the huge picture on the homepage which I like, can I reduce d pictures on other major headings to reduce file size or even remove em? The square image icons aligned to the left r cool though, and adequately sized. 2. I have a secondary color already picked for my site. Can I change the pickish/red color (your default secondary color) to my desired color? Very important to me, else all the sites look same. 3. After reading a news, I saw that another relevant news pops up under it; what is the logic/algorithm behind this pairing? 4. Can I disable some social options like Pinterest? 5. In the spirit of black Friday, n some goodwill to an African, can I get a coupon please?

1) Adjusting the sizes of the images is something you would need to do on your own, and it not a simple fix.
2) Yes, you can easily adjust the colors in the theme from within the Theme Options.
3) If you are referring to the “Teaser” articles that have the “Continue Reading button under them, that they are the latest articles in the same category as the initial article.
4) Yes, I can give you some code to remove the Pinterest button.
5) The theme will actually be a part of Envato’s Black Friday sale, which starts later today and it will be 50% off.

Hi, Im struggling with something: Ive setup the template, it looks like is working but featuring articles in the home page is not really showing anything. I wonder if there is any conflict with previous themes, or What are the instruction to check whats going on if featured articles are not showing int he front page? (I’ve followed any manual, instructions available for this, I understand how to “feature” articles to be showed at the front page, but they are not showing in any way. can you help us¡?

I’m not sure what you mean by “updated”, so please provide an example of what you are looking for, and I’ll take a look.
Your shop items don’t have much of any roll over effects, add to cart buttons, or borders to give a separation between other items. This actually may be the style you were going for, but it seems sub par in comparison to how cool the rest of your theme is. Looks quite plain. Here is an example of something I was thinking of (https://fastshop.kutethemes.net/shop/). Both their shop and single item page gives more elements to separate items on page to give it more style and effect.
Tomorrow i’m pitching your theme to a client and they need to monetize by selling through the shop. Your site is so darn cool that i’m certain they’ll be interested all the way up to the point of seeing the shop the way it is. But I’ll see what I can do.

This theme is primarily for news/magazine sites, so while the shop page is still styled well beyond the default WooCommerce layout, it is not the main focus of the theme’s design (unlike the example you provided, which is primarily a shop theme). So, there are no plans at the moment to make any changes to the design, this is something I will consider for a future update.
I completely understand where you’re coming from but even magazine companies need to monetize and you can’t solely rely on ad sales. The shop isn’t the main focus cause you haven’t put much effort in including. But think about how much more functional your theme will be if you did. I’d love to see you include shop items on homepage seamlessly integrated with article posts. And I don’t know if i’d go so far to say you styled well beyond woocommerce default theme. Lol. But nice theme anyways. I’ll probably purchase and update the shop.

I’m not sure how to make it so people are allowed to comment on stories. At the end of each story there is a ‘click to comment’ button but whenever I click it nothing happens. When I’m logged in and I’m able to edit my posts, when I view the story, I am able to comment.
Do you have to have a wordpress account to comment? How can I make it so anyone can comment? Do they need to have a Disqus account?

Can the theme be change from wide to boxed instead of full width

The theme actually is a boxed layout, but it’s set to about 1200px. If you are asking if you can make the boxed layout more narrow, then that is something you would need to modify on your own.

Loving the theme, as I have your previous ones. However, there are few minor issues I have regarding how the home page looks on mobile devices:
1. I want a clean layout without the the tabber section associated with the feature post layout. An option to hide it on mobile devices would reduce the redundancy with the “more news” section and provide a less cluttered look.
2. Making it possible to hide the “more news” section would also be appreciated
3. I know I can probably do this myself using css, but maybe make the thumbnails bigger out of the box?
