Hi I wants to change the text labels of the woocommerce products. ex: i want to replace the “OUT OF STOCK” text with “SOLD OUT” . Sorry for the inconvenience , after update the theme kindly get into the file path via FTP /wp-content/plugins/ and rename our “designthemes-core-features” to “designthemes-core-features-old” .
Now you can login to your backend, now you can install the update “designthemes-core-features” plugin under Admin Panel > Appearance > Install Plugins.
Don’t activate that renamed plugin, if you have made any changes in old designthemes-core-features-old plugin kindly rewrite those files in the designthemes-core-features plugin folder, after that you can delete that old ( designthemes-core-features-old ) plugin file.

Hi Thanks, lot for the reply, unfortunately, error is still there as same. I followed the steps you mentioned but i can see that new “designthemes-core-features plugin” installed is similar to the existing version (1.1).In the error message is mentioned missing a file “apis/mailchimp/mailchimp.php” from the plugin. However, I cant see the “apis” directory in the new installed “designthemes-core-features plugin” . Hope you can help to correct this error. Thanks again

Hi Thanks for quick reply. Finally I was able to work it out. I installed a theme in a local server and update the plugins. It worked but i can see that there are backward compatibility issues . So you need to fix them for future. Further I could able to update all other required plugins except “Visual composer plugin”. It said that minimum requirement is 5.4.5 but ask for license key to update it . I think we don’t have licence key of that plugin

The Purchase code of the theme is used to registrar and activate the support login and theme support related process in Theme Forest. You can simply activate the theme in dashboard > Appearance > Themes, here just click “Activate” button to activate the theme.
Note: in before that you need to upload the theme via wordpress (Dashboard > Appearance > Themes > Add New > Upload theme > Browse > then click Install
Or If your wordpress uploader does not work. Please connect your server via FTP.
Move to folder wp-content/themes/
Upload the theme folder files.
Note: Don’t install the entire download ZIP package rather than the actual theme itself. The downloaded package contains documentation,child theme etc. So unzip package and find actual theme folder then install theme.

Yes, the widget shortcode are present in admin screen but when you save the page and view it, you can see the shortcode code and not the result. This means that the code that convert the shortcode in output not exist.
So, I found the above code in the old theme folder, I copied in the function file of the new theme folder and I’ve fixed the problem.

I searched the functions in the whole folder theme (2.2) and no clues. Searched in the old folder theme (1.8.9) and those functions was there.
If in your site works locally, try to check out the version uploaded here in Themeforest or you can do a fresh installation with that one.

your last update/ release really shows lack of quality:
Social Media Icons shown in previous versions in the top right of the header don’t work anymore.
Instead it shows [social/], even when I set Soulmedic Settings > General > Sociable > Show Sociable to “no”.
The /framework/sociable_shortcodes.php doesnt exist anymore, but the do_shortcode(‘[social/]’) call is still part of header4.php.

I followed all steps. This is just a bug report.
Kindly check my initial comment. The file is missing in /framework folder, not bound anymore in include.php, but do_shortcode calls for [social/] from header4.php and outputs [social/] in frontend.
For now I managed it by workaround: uploaded sociable_shortcode.php from the old version to my child theme and bound it in my child themes functions.php.

Obviously the theme (through /framework/theme_widgets/mailchimp.php) is requesting a file of plugin Designthemes Core Features, which doesn’t exist in the plugins latest version (1.1).
I know, my license is fairly outdated for any support, but I’ve seen this being reported by others as well and it seems, like You need to check and update Your theme and/ or the plugin with regards to this error.

no need to pass FTP Credentials. I managed to fix it, by jumping the function, which requires_once the missing file.
The following is, what Designthemes Core Features Plugin has in its main directory:
folder custom-post-types
file designthemes-core-features.php
folder languages
folder page-builder
folder shortcodes
Meanwhile /framework/theme_widgets/mailchimp.php requires /apis/mailchimp/mailchimp.php. The whole folder “apis” does not exist in the plugins directory and a search performed via terminal ssh session with “find -name mailchimp.*” didn’t return any results in any other folder of the plugin.
Please fix it in the theme/ plugin with the next release.

I try to update theme but every thime again site + login craches. By this, i mean: 1) Wordpress login is not accessable at any way – So no way to update your “Designthemes Core Features” plugin 2) The website is offline I use WordPress 4.9.1 and all plugins are updated. Thankfully i backed-up the side before updating!

At the moment your theme Soulmedic V1.7 is installed, and i use child theme V1.0. No idea where the difference in number comes from. I might have updated before but aperrently without any problem.

Hello, the new update to 4.9 creates a 500 error. Apache logs show this message:

I have commented out the following line 18 so that the theme works: /* require_once(THEMENAME_CORE_PLUGIN.”/apis/mailchimp/mailchimp.php”); */
Please advise what to do!!!!

When you have not set the featured images for posts and events, it will display the placeholder thumbnails. So, you can easily set a featured image under Admin Panel > Posts/events > Edit Post/Edit events> featured image,

I know that! But I want to change default thumbnails because there are so much posts that haven’t featured image and I don’t want to show thumbnail with “IMAGE”. I want to replace default thumbnail in recent posts and events , I already changed in some files but I don’t know which files have that thumbnail link to recent posts/events. Thanks and I hope you understand what I ask you…

Recent Post: Get into the file path /wp-content/themes/soulmedic/framework/sociable_shortcodes.php under function dt_sc_recent_post there you can replace the image,

Yes you need to update the theme to the latest version to fix the issue. You can get the latest version of the theme only from the account from which you purchased the theme.
