You can upload your custom icon sets.
As for “can do the hosting”, I’m not entirely understood the question.
If you want to build a website for a hosting company – you can do it with ease.
However if you would like to offer The7 along with your hosting services, you’ll need to purchase 1 license per 1 site (as with every other theme on ThemeForest): https://themeforest.net/licenses/standard

I have done a clean install of Wordpress 4.8.3 and activated the latest version of the7 theme, however, in Theme Options, I cannot see the Stripes section. Do you know where to make it appear? Thanks!

You can enable them in The7 > My The7, “Settings” block.
One thing to note though. WPBakery Page Builder (former Visual Composer) and Ultimate Addons allow to have more flexible stripes. Therefore we encourage our users to switch to them from native The7 stripes.

For future updates, you might consider allowing users to put shortcodes and html in the bottom bar. I like to use a script to print the current year in the copyright but this theme does not currently allow this.
Also it would be nice if custom post types’ featured images display in search results the same as normal posts/pages.

All these features are usually not implemented into themes. There may be plugins for them, but we cannot recommend anything specific (as we have not encountered such tasks).

Im using microsite template to inject different menu on individual portfolio posts. Whats happening is when I switch to different menu by using microsite, it makes previous next project button disappear at the bottom of portfolio post. Could you please guide if there is an option to retain Previous-Next projects buttons and Recent projects with Microsite?
