Latest theme version is compatible with WooCommerce 3.1.2 https://www.screencast.com/t/9tyCn90hIo , since latest Woo update contain some minor changes (it is minor update) some templates may show that some files are outdated but shop functionality will continue to work without problems, and you can use the theme with latest Woo version. Off course we will prepare and release theme update which will fix this.

Hello i am also having the same problem regarding the the font viewed as bold, mentioned from dps1yes. My client’s website is www.morgantecnica.com. Fonts and icons are bold, and are viewed the same also on other mac user computers. I also think that the theme may not be compatible with the latest version of safari, because on systems with an older version it is viewed correctly. My client ( a very big company) is not yet aware of the problem, i fear the damage they could encounter and even more the idea of building a new website. Therefore i please ask you to check deeply and resolve this issue, because the main problem is not the refund of the theme but the damage that could be caused to my client.

You can import that demo, or if you already imported it or changed something and in general if you want to combine different demos then it is good practice to install WordPress on your local machine (localhost) and then to try different demos. It is loading fine on theme demo, and if you are referring to your installation where you have imported theme demo, then try to replace Elated slider images with ones inside media library on your installation since imported slider will load files from our demo and delays may occur from time to time. I speak about the animation of the text “WELCOME TO MOOSE” next to the first picture and about the client slider. But it work better on Google Chrome.

Slider animation can be disabled if so content can just fade in instead of sliding up. Yes, each row can have video backgrounder https://www.screencast.com/t/TAqPdGCafD but it is important to know that you need to provide all 3 video file types and a preview image since some browsers will play only certain file types and preview image is for devices which doesn’t support video background and will be shown instead.
2. Transparency can be also set from per page options and these options will override global ones (Elated options) so to remove header transparency on some page, edit it, and set desired background color and transparency to 1 https://www.screencast.com/t/O3vY5toF

Hi, after having the theme working fine for some time I notice that the page ‘Company Presentation’ which I used as a template for a page, has stopped working as it should. Hi, I would do but it says I have to extend the licence. But my problem seems to be related to your latest theme update. I understand the coding is incompatible with Safari on Mac. The pan scan is incorrect That’s what Apple say in the store anyway, who explained it to my client! The problem this causes is with the fonts, it makes them go bold. Sometimes different browsers render fonts differently and it depends on the browser. However, we have inspected your site using Safari and we could not reproduce the issue since everything is rendered properly. Also, note that some advanced Css attributes that we use with our theme are not supported by all browsers.

Thanks for your reply. Apparently it’s the typography in Safari, it looks as though the font style is exceedingly heavy and bold, it’s bleeding! I’m afraid I’m not able to attach screenshots here. My client asked in the Apple shop and was told the website code is incompatible with Safari on macbook because of the ‘pan scan not fitting the text’. I’ve never heard of that one but apparently the website is showing the same problem in the Apple store demo units. I’m at a loss what to say to the client or how to go about resolving it. I’ve tried switching off all plugins, clearing cache, etc, but to no avail. Cheers

Font rendering depends on the browser how it accepts and renders it on the front-end. With our theme development we tried to cover all of it but sometimes when certain advanced CSS attributes are applied it might vary how certain browsers render it.

Hi, you mentioned you couldn’t recreate the problem. I went to the Apple shop today and I could recreate the problem on every macbook they had in the store. You know that Safari was updated a couple of weeks ago, it could relate to that as it just started to happe? I noticed in the store that it’s not just the fonts but other elements like icons that are emboldened. I bought the theme on the understanding that, and indeed you list it as, compatible on all major browsers including Safari. It’s not. What will you do before this escalates? Thank you you explanation, we have recreated problem, but this is totally related to how browsers render certain font, especially sometime there is an issue with rendering of Google Fonts on Safari, and it is not theme related issue. Hi, I would say that this is a theme related issue because this problem has only come about in this last month since Safari was updated- If you check the changelog, font updates were made - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Safari_version_history. Your theme was compatible with Safari but no longer is, because it is now unable to render fonts correctly; we’ve also had problems with other elements such as share buttons being emboldened. If you can advise me which font settings I can use within your theme options, which will overcome the incorrect rendering of fonts, then that would be a solution, though not ideal. Otherwise, your theme is no longer compatible with Safari and cannot be useful for our needs. This theme was purchased on the understanding that it is compatible with Safari and would remain so, as you have described. It is reasonable to assume that if the theme became incompatible, we would need to replace the theme which would incur reasonable costs. These costs we would look to claim against you. I appreciate that it might take a little time for you to correct the problem. I would like you to suggest how you plan to resolve this theme issue. Best regards, Daniel

Including some specific google font can cause issues on some browsers, and as explained previously and this is only browser related. Solution may be easy and you just need to try to set some other font and to test again on some Apple device and with Safari browser. Theme is fully compatible with Safari browser but some fonts can just be rendered differently and latest theme update do not contain anything related to fonts. Also, you are using some custom css in order to change font for some sections so problem may lay there also. We have tested your site on Safari for windows https://www.screencast.com/t/67wMUL5T but also on Mac https://www.screencast.com/t/OKVAGpaO and font appears fine, so since it is good on our end, and if it is not related to font or theme issue may also be related to Safari browser update or maybe some addon which you are using for the browser. If this issue continues then please submit a ticket to our support as suggested previously and provide all necessary info in your ticket so support team can investigate this closer.

Hi, I did add some custom CSS for fonts but only what I could find online from people having similar problems, I was trying to solve it. I need a solution. A month or so ago, everything was fine. Now, it’s changed. I went to the Apple shop and tried using two mac books and it was the same for both. I already tried switching off plugins and clearing cache.
Is this not happening to everyone using Moose or only me? Can you tell me which fonts to use that will work correctly? My client is killing me. If I can’t solve it, I can no longer use Moose and will have a lot of extra work and expense. Thanks

So, after you brushing me off, I went to the Apple store, I spent hours reinstalling older versions of the theme, deleting plugins, searching and trying every little possible fix I could come across. I spent many hours. My client hasn’t engaged me since and I’m sure you realise how it feels when you feel like you have let a client down.
All it came down to was one line of bad code of yours, and then a failure to properly check the issue when it was reported. What you’re using to test obviously wasn’t up to the job.
What do say to all of this then? For all the trouble.

Reported issue was present only on newer safari versions so support couldn’t reproduce it at first on two Mac devices on their disposal, but after being able to test this on newer device support responded with the fix. Unfortunately it is very hard to debug such an issue when not being able to reproduce the same. Support offered various things, and finally we have purchased new MacBook because of this in order to resolve this. We are sorry because we could resolve this quicker but at then issue was resolved.

The parallax effect is not working at all in current chrome and chrome-based browsers. Not even the parallax showcase of the live demo works. Considering chrome is the most popular browser, this should be fixed asap.

Also, please note that we have disabled parallax effect on mobile devices since it might not work properly on certain mobile devices.

You can not add slider shortcode directly in page’s content, you need to add it in specific place for slider. It is in the page back-end, scroll down to Elated General section and there find Layer Slider or Elated Slider Shortcode field https://www.screencast.com/t/D9qgjR1yChAT . Just there paste shortcode of desired slider you want to be displayed on that page.

Hi there, I’ve been trying to reach support but it’s been down for a number of days so I thought I would post here. I’ve am using the left side area for the main menu (instead of the top) and I’m finding that the expanded sub menus on the left nav don’t close when you navigate to another area of the site. Can you please tell me if there is some kind of setting I need to check to make this work? It’s very odd to open a section, click on a link in that section and then click on another section and still have the previous section expanded. Thank you for your help!

Default behavior of the menu and submenu is that submenu will stay opened if you have opened page that is placed in that submenu. Once you navigate to the page that is in another submenu old submenu will close. However, if you want to have all submenu navigation closed immediately after you navigate to another page you should choose Submenu Area Behavior to be On Hover https://www.screencast.com/t/ylR8ssqQRrl so all submenus will be initially closed when previewing a page.

Thanks for the suggestion, but our client really wants the nav to show On Click and remain open while you are in that submenu. That works fine, and if you go to another link inside of another submenu, then the prior menu closes. That is fine.
The problem is, if you leave a submenu and click on an upper level menu that does not have a submenu, then the prior submenu doesn’t close. That is the bug we need to fix. We end up with an active color on the new menu item, but further down, an expanded submenu with no active color that should have collapsed as we have navigated away from it. (If I could post a screen cap here I could quickly show you what I’m getting at but there doesn’t seem to be a place to attach.)

Thank you for making us clear what is the issue. However, this is normal behavior since it is integrated via JavaScript and it memorizes click on that Menu Item or arrow near it https://www.screencast.com/t/CaBQpYUx0wTp only for the menu items that have sub-menu in it, so just opening another sub-menu will close previously opened sub-menu, or another click on that menu item.

I see. So it’s programmed to behave that way but it just feels like a bug to the user because they don’t know to “close” the prior selection before moving to another. I’ll see if our client will go with the hover. It doesn’t provide the utility of the expanded view, but it doesn’t feel buggy. Thanks!

I have purchased this theme some time ago and had it on a domain for testing but didn’t do much with it at that time and the site was never public. I am planning to use the theme on a new domain I bought, and I wanted to make sure if I can use the same license for the theme if I delete it from the previous test website? Are Visual Composer Premium Addons used on this theme? I am not able to edit some of the elements, like ‘Info Card Slider’ or Icons, and was wondering if by purchasing the regular Visual Composer license for $34 will help in this case? Thanks!

Some default elements and functionalities from Visual Composer plugin have been intentionally disabled, because we have created and included plenty of our elements in Visual Composer. So purchasing regular licence will not solve the issue since it might cause issues with elements that we have integrated in our theme.

Our theme is compatible with WordPress 4.8.1, we have tested it and everything works fine. However, after inspecting your page whenever clicked on link there is an error in console https://www.screencast.com/t/NKpg7b1z61Kd that suggests some third party plugin that you are using might be the source of the issue. So please deactivate all third party plugins and please test your page.
If everything works fine upon deactivation of the plugins, please activate them one by one in order to determine which one is causing the issue.
