here are some pre purchase questions; 1) is the booking system customizable? i would like a booking system which doesnt lead to payment after pressing “book now” button as online payment is not feasible with me. If it can be customised, can i add more details such as tour type, special requirement, preferred duration, additional info like that in addition to name, emails etc in the booking form?
2) the theme shows only single day instead of a duration. i hope multi-days customisation can be made?

1. Yes the booking system is customizable in the sense that there are many options available including having payments optional or removing that component. In the live demo if you don’t select a product you can see how the flow works without checkout/etc. We also have this overview page: http://demo.themovation.com/embark/booking/
2. The booking system allows for time slots setup anywhere from 5 minutes up to one full day. At this time it doesn’t include an option for multiple days, but you can set it up to only show the start time, so that could work in some scenarios.

No problem! It is very likely that the multi day booking feature will be added by the plugin author in a future update, though at this time we do not have a specific date for that release.

Hello, the coupon codes and discounts are going to be setup through WooCommerce. You can setup high and low prices through separate calendars or product dropdowns inside the calendar, they won’t be automatic in the way that you select a specific day and the prices changes automatically. Does that help?

On the product page, when booking… Is it possible to calculate price based on number of person?
1 person = 100$ per person 2 Persons = 90$ per person 3 Persons = 80$ per person etc..

hello! It’s a very flexible theme with a full drag and drop builder so you can create any page templates you need and use them from a library. You can also use any of the 40+ widgets to create a listing layout. If you are looking for something to automate the listing process then you will need to supplement with a plugin.

Hi, yes booking system is entirely optional – it’s a separate plugin that can be disabled if you don’t want to use it, in which case none of the plugin resources are loaded.
When you say custom fields do you mean the form system? It’s very flexible and with drag and drop you can add any fields you want.
We have new demos coming soon, one of them is outdoor related similar to that, but we don’t have any exact date yet for that.

No … the reservation and payment system does not interest me, I want to be able to deactivate it and just use the price with an action button for a contact form. But I would like to know if you have a demo site fully operational to see the admin back office management.

1. We want to use WorldPay as Payment Gateway for the customers to pay for the tours/packages. Do you have this option or how can we do it if we purchase your template/theme to include only WorldPay as method of payment? Is there an alternative on this? Or we can use a separate WorldPay plugin to integrate this Payment Gateway into the theme?
2. Can we change the theme colors with any colors that we wish and any combination?
3. Can we translate the theme in multi languages? Can we use a translation plugin to be installed within the theme? In fact, can we install and use in your theme any wordpress plugin that we want?

You’ll just need an additional extension. Here are a couple of options:

2. Yes, the Theme Options includes color inputs where you can select any that you like, and most areas use the live page builder with even more flexibility.
3. Yes, the theme is fully localized and ready for translation. If you want to change the language from English we recommend Loco Translate: https://wordpress.org/plugins/loco-translate/
If you want to include multiple languages, we recommend both Loco Translate and Polylang: https://wordpress.org/plugins/polylang/
In our documentation for the theme we have helpful articles for both.
Generally speaking, most WordPress plugins should work very well as we have created the theme following all the best practices. However since there are tens of thousands of plugins available we can’t guarantee 100% of all plugins will work without issue.

Hi, The theme, the page builder, and the booking system are all fully localized and translatable. When it comes to RTL, the page builder does support RTL, but the booking system and some parts of the theme do not specifically support RTL at this time. So it may take a bit of manual work.
Hi. I am considering using your theme for guided tours. 2 questions:
1. Each tour can have different options like include a restaurant visit or other that the customer can choose to include in the tour or not, and each option with a price (or free). Is it possible to add these kind of options that the customer can select and the cost gets added to shopping cart?
2. Is it possible to set up different payment options like Booking Only (no payment but the booking is valis), pay a deposit apart from the ful-amount?

1 – Yes, when you add a product for the tour, you can add variations, each variation can include an extra and have it’s own price. When the customer is booking, they can select the options they like from the dropdown and proceed to checkout. The price differences will be automatically added to their cart.
2 – You can use any of the Woo gateways supported, https://woocommerce.com/product-category/woocommerce-extensions/payment-gateways/ – Woo also supports COD, cash etc and they have a plugin to take deposits. So yes

Hey ! I get some problems while activating the theme on wordpress. I get HTTP ERROR 500. Pre purchase question… I have a Film Studio in Brazil and wanted to have a site that people can go and schedule the dates they want to rent/locate my space and there I can show the calendar with availability and prices (this I need to think about) with options of time, part time, and different kind of uses, like photo or video. And extra possibilities like chroma key painting, food buffet included, etc. And of course, in the rest of the page I want to show some pics of the space… Can I use your theme for that?

Can you clarify what you mean about the calendar in the hero section? It is totally optional, and if you do include it, the tooltip is customizable as well. Does that answer your question?
Hi, I would like to use this theme for my business. We use a channelmanager that keeps our dates right. How is your theme ready for ical? Can I update from the channelmanager to the website? I would not take direct bookings from the website, but by use of request and then update the site once our backoffice has populated my channelmanager that would on his way populate the site. Your input please. btw: fresh theme!
Hi there, thanks The booking system included with the theme supports a one-way sync to iCal / Google calendar. Bookings from the website can get synced to the calendars, but not the other way around. It is however possible to go in the backend and disable specific time slots or dates manually. The booking system is well integrated into the theme, but can also easily be removed if not needed.

Thanks for the link. Our theme fully supports WooCommerce and all the standard functionality works very well. That page shows some features that are included in Elementor Pro which is a separate purchase. Elementor Pro does not have an extended license so no WordPress themes are able to bundle it with purchase.
In Embark, we include the standard Elementor, but also with additional custom widgets that we created that seamlessly integrate into the page builder (Tour Packages, Tour Grid, Booking component, and more).

Am I right that the booking system only works for “time slots” or “all day”. But not for multiple days? I’m looking for a solution to rent out camper vans. But there’s nothing for that on Themeforest. Or even another decent looking car/van rental theme. Customers also need to be able to search on dates, so they can see which campers are available and which are not. Because ones they are booked, the same camper van can’t be rented out again! Is it possible to alter the theme a bit to fit these needs?
Hi, yes the theme comes with the Booked plugin included, which can be setup with any combination of time slots from 5 minutes up to one full day, but at this time it doesn’t support multiple days (that may change in the future).
The Booked plugin is one option, but you could use a different booking system instead – something like WP Booking System which books days instead (http://bit.ly/2fOpDpE).

1 – You can setup as many calendars as you wish, and each calendar can have it’s own custom time slots and for each timeslot you can have a set number of spaces available. For each calendar you can have 1 or many products or prices. So there is a lot of flexibility.
2 – The Booking System is tied in with WooCommerce so you can add on products at anytime during the checkout using WooCommerce cross sells setting.

Hello, I truly hope your site will be my third and my last. I have had so many issues with my last 2 that it has been over a year since launching and today is my launch date. I read all your responses and so far your answer has been great. Can you please tell me the following?:
1. Will round logos work with this theme without distorting or making the menu to big? 2. Can you customize colors of links, buttons, overlays, etc. without having to jump through 1000000 hoops? 3. Forgive me if this is repeated. I just want to make sure. Can I enter multi dates for bookings for 1 event/tour? 4. Can the information about the event/tour just be text only and not require entering in a widget or wysiwyg?

Hi, happy to have been able to answer your questions. Posting here in case anyone else has the same questions: 1. You can upload a logo of any size or aspect ratio, though if it’s tall it will make the header taller as well.
2. Yes – there are easy color options in the Theme Options that change a number of places in the theme like links, icons – in most places you can easily add custom colors to overide as well.
3. In the booking system you can setup different calendars for each tour, and can setup different time slots for each day of the week or specific dates as well.
4. I believe you are asking if it’s necessary to use the theme widgets to create the tour pages- it is optional. You can import all pages from the demo – or not. You can also add them individually, or just add the ones you want. On any page you can just add text / HTML as well.
