Dear autors, I sent you a ticket five days ago for a few problems found in classiadspro. I have not received any solutions yet, only two responses from you who just sent me for a walk (login details please; Would be better if you test all the things on a live setup. So we also can see what is the problem you’re facing and why.) and this in the conditions in which already I told you that I’m testing the theme in the wampserver. I come back with replies to the ticket, I explained to you again very clearly what the problems are and no answer in the last 2 days. I’m starting to think that there are some issues with your customer support system, so I will start a discussion here about what I found in classiadspro. I suggest you take a test in your demo version to confirm what I have said. All you have to do is: 1. Post an ad in one (or more) subcategory without selecting the category. You’ll see what’s going on. You will see in the home & listing pages a big error (the error can be seen in grid listings of the ad). Normally, I think a setting should be made to automatically select the category for a subcategory (it would be logical). 2. Select the type of user in the dashboard and then save. Will not save the user type and more, the user photo will be delete. 3. Try changing the user’s photo in the dashboard. Does not work, no new photo can be selected. 4. Check the bookmarks page. Not elegantly displayed.
Besides these things that need to be resolved, I asked for the following clarifications: 1. If in the website I only have ads (without shop page), in this case do I need the woo dashboard in my dashboard? How do I remove the woo dashboard from my dashboard? 2. Where can a user view their own invoices for the posted ads without WooCommerce? 3. How can I adjust the alignment in the saved pdf page? As you can see in the demo, you can’t see the whole text, it has to be slightly reduced to display in pdf. The same issue applies to printing, you can check on your website. 4. Why is the shop page disordered in http://demo.designinvento.net/classiads-pro/classiads-ultra/shop/? Please respond to what is shown. Go to Classiads Options > Listings settings > search settings. In here all the settings regarding search.
and event prices and payments are custom content fields. which can be remove or disable from Classiads Options > content fields.

hi, just two simple questions: - i have made the new update, but now i can’t enter to the admin dashboard, because after the update, the “username” and “the password” changed to your default, can you remember me what are the username and the password to access ? - 2nd question: the translation method, it still the same or you have made a new method more simple than using Loco plugin?

1) user must be registered or fill registration form when submitting an ad,
2) it’s upto you classiadspro provide 2 payment system builtin payment system allow pay per post and if you have multiple payment levels users have to select one level and if there is only one level then system will redirect the user to submission page automatically. another payment system is woocomerce payments, This payment system allow pay per post or sell packages or both at a time, in this system if user have purchased a package on submission user will select listing level available in that paclkage, you can allow multiple levels in a single package with different features, again if there is only single level then system will redirect the user to the submission page, if a user has not purchased any package user will fill the form and on the submission he/she will be redirected to the payment form
3) yes you can disable rating and other content fields like payment system
4) buyer and seller cant contact in, multiple ways, like phone number, email contact form, or internal messaging system

3.Can the Raise Ad feature be made available as a paid feature?

each user would have his/her own name and registered date. user’s display name can be changed but the registered date would the same as a user registered on site.

2.Data entry by categories – When user add anything to classified section, it would be categorized by posting type.
3.Payment options – User must be able to make payment for posting.

However you recommended the “Classiads Pro” versions, so my question is whats the difference between “CLASSIADS – ZOCO and “Classiads Pro”? Just bought the theme and not off to a great start. 1, how do you adjust logo size in the header? should be simple but can’t find anything in the Theme settings. 2. When you make changes in Appearance ‘Customise’ they don’t update in the preview, is this a bug?

WP > Classiads Options > theme settings. Logos are in general. You can manage header sizing from headers.
Classiadspro have its own settings it don’t work with customizer

Sorry, but I really want to like this theme, but so far the experience is not good.
Building a header should be one the easiest things to do in a theme, but this is really hard work. 1. I still can’t find how to adjust the logo size, it’s massive, where is the option to adjust it’s max width? 2. I can’t preview the different styles or any header changes without saving a re-loading the page each time. (no live preview in ‘Customise’ is just not good enough) 3. On certain header styles the logo and listing button completely disappear? 4. Click on the search icon and nothing happens, no where to enter your search?
It feels like this theme hasn’t been finished properly. There are lots of display bugs in the demo – items not aligning properly, parts cropped off on tablet view. I doesn’t feel me with much hope for building my own site. Can you reassure me on any of these problems? Thanks.

this is not a support channel please contact here https://designinvento.ticksy.com/all header settings are under theme settings -> header there are different logo options for different devices. we have incorporated a flexible dear option header height will adjust according to your logo size so why you don’t resize your log. it’s not only you there a 3400+ other clients and everyone has his own requirement so we can not bound someone to a fixed logo dimensions it’s up to you if your logo size is more then what you want then please resize your logo and upload.

okay I will try support, but I don’t agree regarding logo size. So if I don’t like the size I have to re-size and re-upload another logo?? that’s crazy. Every theme I’ve ever used before allows you to experiment and adjust logo size.
We have maximum options in such category. You are arguing here for a logo size. which is illogical. Because your logo will be stretch or hide if you set a height or width. It won’t remain dynamic.

Dear authors, At first glance, the theme looks very good, but there are more issues to be solved by you before it is delivered to buyers. As I explained to you in the submitted tickets, the classiadspro theme provided to your clients has several problems, such as: 1. In the Home page, the categories and images of the posted ads are fixed. Basically, in your demo presentation these are dynamic (moving) and look great. In VC, these settings can not be made and in the backend this settings can’t be identified anywhere. Your documentation says nothing, it’s very poor (just a few elementary settings). 2. After instalation of the theme, the dashboard page is different than yours (unsightly and unitilizable). 3. The dashboard>edit profile page is awful and also looks different than yours. 4. The submit listing page is unimaginable and also different than yours. With other words, this page is totally unsightly and practically unitilizable for this reason. Total disarray. 5. In the dashboard>profile page, user type fields can’t be changed. 6. The theme does not allow the user to log in directly to wp-admin. 7. A SELL button appears on the pages of the theme and it is unclear how it can be removed. I mention that for the moment I have tested the theme in the wampserver and I can’t proceed to upload the theme on the website until it is clear that it works correctly. Please tell me what settings should be made to eliminate the reported problems and that my theme should look exactly like yours. I think some css or php settings are required and in this case please send me your corrected files to have a fully functional theme. Thank you

found my answer at the forum… Updated Classiads theme Version above 5.0 has complete two versions named as Classiads and ClassiadsPro both build with completely different frame work and code structure. ClassiadsPro is most recommended version as it is latest, more flexible, rich with features and designs.

yes, its classified theme not marketplace. so the author can sell items via woocomerce or sell ads or ads packages. buyer can post their ads on the website via front-end user dashboard
so for example, my new website will be a simple place for people to buy and sell used equipment. The buyer places ad, seller makes an offer and if agreed then payment is arranged privately between the two people? Is Woocomerce just used to for selling the Ads? i.e £5 fee to place an ad? yes, you can use woocomerce for selling ads and your own products, own products mean admin can set woocomerce shop as well. you can also use built-in payment system if not looking for ad packages and woocomerce shop. built-in payment system offers PayPal, stripe and offline payment. built-in payment system only offer pay per listing not packages
Okay thanks, I’ve gone ahead and bought the theme so will have a play. I am slightly concerned now as the demos seem a bit buggy. I.e listings not showing properly and lots of code text showing where listing should be. Also do you offer customisation as a paid service? My client is quite particular about how the site looks so I’m thinking customisation will be necessary.
