Hi!! I’ve been working with “Blog-Ultimate” demo and I’ve got some question.
1. On the first page, for each post box, how can i hide categories links and author name? I just want to show only image and text for each post.
2. For modifying “Blog-Ultimate” to look like this one “http://themenectar.com/demo/salient-ascend/blog-masonry-no-sidebar/” What option I have to choose for making each post box has no shadow and containing only image and text like this.

1. Add this into the custom css box in the Salient options panel:
body .masonry-blog-item .meta-category, .masonry-blog-item .grav-wrap, .masonry-blog-item .meta-author { display: none!important;
}
2. Edit the blog element within your page and change the masonry style to “classic style”

Is this still the case? I have the same problem – ninja popup forms are being turned into minimal style, but I’d like to leave minimal on because it’s beautiful. Is there some CSS or something I could use to tag the popup field with, to make them not minimal?
Would you mind letting me know about my other questions from the other day: if I uninstall Envato Market will I still get Salient updates?
And is it ok to drop Google Tag Manager code into the Google Analytics field in Salient options? Thanks!

2. You won’t be able to automatically update from the WP admin panel, you’d need to redownload the theme from ThemeForest when updates are released

Hi, I’m having trouble importing the demo content for the “Corporate” theme. The pages are all accessible yet it doesn’t look like any of the images are included. Is there a way to import this manually? How can I get I can get this fixed?

The images in that demo are replaced with placeholders since they are mostly from stocksy and can’t be provided due to licensing restrictions. In newer demos we stopped using premium stock images with such restrictions and now include unsplash images

When editing your row in the page builder, there’s an option for “Parallax Background Speed” when you’ve enabled the Parallax background option

Bug Report:
With the new material style, there is a bug when you scroll down the page on mobile, it is not smooth and the background color shows sometimes. And especially when you click on the scroll up button, the scroll up is not smooth and the background cuts the screen in some parts.
I did a test on a few of your demos and also installed my own copy on my local machine. Same issue during all tests.

I have been playing around with your theme and tbh hands down the most intuitive and easy yet stylish theme I have played around with so far. The only thing that is bugging me is why aren’t there any colour options for individual type elements? Like for header tags? Don’t want to be stuck with one overall theme body colour! Easily fixed with CSS but I don’t understand why its not added? Or am I missing something? Still amazing theme!!

To import “sections” of the various demos you can use the Salient studio directly in the page builder http://themenectar.com/docs/salient/salient-studio/
When you import an actual demo in the options panel, it will override the current styling options you have set in the theme options. Therefore if you need them, make a backup first in the import/export tab of the options panel

I would like to make sure that the text on my site is always below the navigation links. On my “Our Work” page the text is above the navigation link. I put in a divider to make space, but it caused way more space than I would like on the mobile version. How can I make sure the text on this page is below the navigation on the desktop version without changing the position of the text on the mobile version? The URL to my site is www.19theagency.com

You could set the column which holds the divider to not display on mobile devices in the responsive options tab within the column. You may be to create an inner row within that row to hold the divider column separately from your main content row if you don’t already have it set up that way.

On standard-minimal single blog post page, I’m trying to make letter-spacing: 0px instead of -2px on the span.meta-author, span.meta-date and span.meta-category but I’m not able to address these specifically enough. Can you give me a line of CSS that will address this?

Hello, we are trying to change the “View Cart” text from the Mini Cart in the header. I can’t seem to find where this is controlled. I have gone through the Templates in Salient for WooCommerce and also i tested the Mini Cart template directly from the WooCommerce Plugin and this isn’t in use. So bit stumped where this handled. to remove the spacing between the items set the “Item Spacing” in the portfolio element settings to “Default”. Also please list which demo you’re trying to emulate the portfolio look of as every project style is shown throughout the various demos

Hey chenwenn, that sounds like Salient is getting overridden by a different mobile theme. The plugin “Jetpack” is known to have such an option. If you’re using that plugin, please check to make sure you don’t have that feature turned on.
