There isn’t a built-in option but it’s pretty easy to do via the already included “Toggle” module.

Just add the toggle module with the form shortcode added to the content area and then you can use a little CSS to style the toggle to look like a button.

Or if you prefer you can add a little custom javascript to the site to create the toggle affect. If you setup a button with a unique class then add a form with a unique class and send me the URL I’ll be happy to provide you with the code for this that you can add to your child theme.

I’ll look though into the possibility of adding a built-in toggle affect to the theme that can be triggered by any module based on specific classnames. I think others would like having that.

Make sure to update your theme to the latest version which has an updated Page builder plugin with a fix for the WP 4.9 update.

If you are all up to date, try clearing your browser/site cache and see if that fixes it (very important to clear browser cache after every WP, theme or plugin update).

So displaying the data isn’t too hard but you need to first add options to the user dashboard where you can enter this information. Did you already do this?

Depending how you added the custom fields on the backend will depend how you can display them on the front-end which I can assist with showing you how.

Or have you not added the extra fields with and need a plugin or code tutorial for that?

Do the updates show up in the backend but not the live site? If that’s the case then it sounds like you may be having some caching issues.

If the edits aren’t saving at all make sure not only is your theme up to date (you said it is) but also WordPress and all the plugins on the site.

If the page builder is outdated and WordPress is up to date it’s possible you won’t be able to save edits due to updates to support newer versions of WordPress.

It’s pretty simple actually here is the code you would want to use:

Not that your CSS and my CSS above will target all singular posts and not just blog posts if you want to target only the blog use this:

body.single .single-post-title { text-align: center;}
body.single .meta,
body.single .entry .meta {
    text-align: center;
}

body.single .meta li,
body.single .entry .meta li {
    display: inline-block;
    float: none;
}

By targeting the “single” class for the body tag it will ONLY affect the singular blog posts if that’s what you need (not the entries or other post types). Not sure if it matters in your case.

There is a default padding on the header but it can be removed easily but it depends on the site layout and header style you are using. Can you share the URL so I can look and provide you with the correct CSS for this?

Hi,

The issue is that because of all the options included it’s just not possible to keep the default header menu when using the builder function (as a built-in setting). For example if the header menu can be enabled and the customer selects header style 1 where the menu is absolutely positioned it would be over the page builder content. Or if you select header style 2 (fine it shows under the header builder content) but then you select the default mobile menu (which is positioned absolute) then that would create issues.

That said, it’s possible to “re-add” the menu via a little custom code if needed.

Any chance you have a mockup though of what you are trying to do so I can give you the best method possible for achieving it?

Thanks for the fast reply! Bummer it’s not more simple but I understand. I just wish there was something else because I’m sure the ‘Navigation Bar’ element isn’t meant to act as the primary navigation.

My header template consists of two rows, three columns each, but one appears on desktops and one appears on everything else. (It’s possible I could do a mobile navigation this way too, but I didn’t see a good way of adding an expandable/collapsible navigation.) I believe I was using Header Style 2 before I switched to custom template.

This is the site, I’ve it to work for the most part by changing the CSS from lists to divs, but the problems I’m left with are the missing search dropdown, and the weird mobile menu.

So basically you are using the header builder only to add the phone number and extra logo to the header? If so, you could just use the default header style you were using before and then use a little code making use of theme hooks – http://wpexplorer-themes.com/total/docs/action-hooks/ – to alter just the part where the logo is. I can give you the code and HTML for this if you want to test it out. And this would be very efficient and optimized way of adding the number and extra logo.

I will be adding a new advanced menu module though for a bigger update coming early 2018 that will allow you to select from various styles (navbar, vertical, full-screen, slide out) with mobile functions included). The reason I hadn’t added it yet was because there are so many great plugins, even free ones, you can use for this.

Sorry to hear you are having issues activating the license. Usually if you are having trouble activating the license it is due to server settings. I see 30+ licenses activated today and I just tested so our system isn’t down and it’s something on your end.

If you can open a private ticket with your WordPress logins I can have a look and get this fixed up for you right away (request your ticket be assigned to AJ since I am the developer I can manually activate the license if needed).

Most the time people have issues with addon plugins is when the theme or the Visual Composer page builder is outdated but the plugin is up to date.

If you can share more information I can better help you figure out what is going on. The plugin should work just fine since Total includes an unmodified version of the page builder plugin.
