Quick question I’ve uploaded both the regular and retina logos https://cl.ly/102q2U2B0U0M and they appear on scroll https://cl.ly/2u2g2B3c2J3i but the default “Salient” logo is still displaying site wide, for example the homepage https://cl.ly/0B3y2Q052738 page https://cl.ly/0h3E280a0G46 portfolio item https://cl.ly/2u0Y311Y3F0Y in the normal header? Is there another option I’m missing here, I’ve already cleared cache, etc…

I’d like to bring the footer lower but it only managed to lower the top part and not the bottom part. I’m using this CSS you gave to other buyers:

2. To get the search widget in the middle column, you’d need to rearrange your widgets in the Appearance > widgets section of your wp admin panel

Is there anyway to enable a scroll function on the full screen modal for team member bios? Right now it gets cut off and you cant scroll to see the rest of the bio.

In the image gallery (or a singel page portofolio) is it possible to disable the hover-over-image-meta, so that nothing happens when the visitor hover over each image?
To specify it a little more. I would like to remove the view larger button and the pink color (or any hover color), and any hover effect. But it would be nice to keep the feature where visitors can click on a image and view it in slider mode.

Fixed it by adding these to the page specific css box. Works fine!

I still haven’t figured out how to open a image slider after clicking on a image. Right now it just opens up a full size version. I’ll tinker a little bit with it. Feel free to chime in with ideas.
Hi i bought the plugin mollie forms from woocommerce and i have a conflict with te template. I checked that to use a simple wordpress template and then everything worked fine. So asking for help by woocommerce and wordpress did not give anything helpfull till now. I got this answer from the forum but don’t know what to do to make it work now. :

I had setup a demo for a client and all maps were working (I am using Huge IT Google maps plugin). However, when the client pushed live to a different domain, I am getting an error code, “Oops! Something went wrong.” In the js console, it says there are multiple instances of keys and also no instance of a key. I can switch to a default theme and the maps work then, so why wouldn’t they with Salient selected and on a different domain? Everything is up to date. So it must be something in Salient’s files that is causing the issue.

Hey Jay! Yes, you can control the coloring in the Salient options panel > header navigation tab at the field “header color scheme” > select “custom”. The typography can be controlled in the typography tab within the options panel in the navigation & page header section with the “Off Canvas Navigation” field
ThemeNectar; on the blog posts element; the category meta data is being underlined over hover. I do not remember this happening prior. Where can I disable the underline animation for category meta e.g. “cars” from above the posts. I want to keep the meta data; just remove the animation effect. Cannot locate it anywhere. Thank you.

This is the current settings from the Visual Composer: Blog Template, “Standard Blog W/Sidebar”, Standard Layout: Featured Image Left Style, Sticky Bar Enabled, Pagination Enabled (Infinite), Load In Animation: None. Theme Skin: Ascend, I attempted using Original and Material with no change in underlining of Categories. The other blog styles of course do not have an underline animation! Just the left one as far as I can see; I do not mind the highlight animation as that is preferred, just no underline!

Hi ThemeNectar – thanks for the amazing theme!! I’m really loving the fullscreen rows feature, but have run into a problem when I select “disable on mobile”... It works fine on most viewports, but for some reason on plus-sized iPhones (iPhone 6 plus, 7 plus, 8 plus), the screen goes black when turned to landscape. Fine in portrait, goes black in landscape (with no content but the footer showing). Unfortunately you have to be on those actual devices to see the problem – emulators don’t replicate the issue. Would you please take a look and see if you could suggest a fix? If it weren’t for that issue, my site is almost done & ready to go.. but the black screen is a show-stopper. Super quick question – I can’t seem to find what controls the font/type of the portfolio subheading. I’ve checked both in typography setting (general + nectar specific) as well as the page specific container and the portfolio items themselves. Hi my client would like their Team Member to have their name and position underneath (essentially Meta Below option) but still have the option to have the bios shown like the “bio shown fullscreen modal”. They would like names to always be present (but underneath) and prefer the fullscreen modal to display bios. Is this possible? Maybe hovering over their image would display text saying “Click for bio →”, or even hovering over their name changes text color from black to blue implying it is clickable and when clicked the fullscreen modal appears. Is this possible?

Combining both of the styles as of now would require custom modding, but here’s a quick CSS snippet to alter the fullscreen style in that direction:

that issue is related to 4.9 and the fix was released a couple weeks ago. You need to update your version of Salient to the current (8.5.3) and then you’ll have access to the Salient VC update (5.2.4) which contains the fix http://themenectar.com/docs/salient/updating-salient/

I added $project_excerpt variable to line 4582 but it doesn’t animate h3/h4/h5 it the same way as the title / h1. The text is in black, not white for some reason. What should I change and where? Thanks.
To alter the color, add this into the custom css box in your Salient options panel:
.nectar_fullscreen_zoom_recent_projects[data-slider-text-color="light"] .project-info h3 {
color: #fff!important;
}
To get the same animation, modding would be required in the init.js file in the js folder
