Hi, it is really frustrating, your support can’t or wont help me with my issue, for this reason I post my experience with your service here and hope someone from your developer will help me on this way. Here the answer I got from my server provider, this awesome support team went again on my site to support me and to figure out what goes wrong. They created a test page which is editable, but not my home page. Here the statement:

Hi, im building site at temporary location, will then move to permanent domain once complete. WP has been updated to 4.9.1 and now having problems esp. with Visual Composer. I believe theme(and bundled composer) also needs to be updated to fix this. Currently using theme v17.8.2. Made some modifications to template files and wish to retain them after updating. Prefer to update automatically but with activation of theme at temporary location, will license be valid once moved to final domain ? Kindly advise.
i see theme must be registered first before updating bundled plugins, but as said above, what happens if i register at temporary development location, then move to final domain when complete? will license still be valid?

yes, you need to register the license and of course, the license would be still valid when moving to final domain. The only thing you need to make sure is to de-register license from work environment before moving/registering license on a final domain.

Anyway, you can not find the license field because this feature was included into version 20 and your’s is older.
Many thanks, all good now – just one thing: after updating, footer widgets were missing. Luckily had backed up, but is there way to avoid restoring said widgets after updating?
You should look for a problem out of the theme because we have no idea what you did and how as widgets do never removes themselves on update.
Could have been theme manually updated from v17.8.2 to latest. Suppose wont happen again cos will be auto-updating from hereon, all good.
Yes, you can update theme via FTP by removing current files and uploading the newest one.

this theme is made especially for e-commerce so if you want to create exactly the same one with the BeTheme, it wouldn’t be possible without some css and php files modifications unfortunately.

Just wanna point out an issue that I’m facing that I don’t understand why it’s happening.
The logo of the Mobile Header Minimal is smaller then the Mobile Sticky. I wanna have the opposite but even if I’m adding a bigger logo to Mobile section and smaller for the Mobile Sticky, the Sticky one is always bigger.
Mobile Options: Minimal Sticky
Mobile Logo Logo = 237×70 Retina = 476×140
Mobile Sticky Logo Logo = 177×52 Retina = 353×104
Am I missing something somewhere?

Ok, thanks. We have checked and the logo size is minimal different, so if you want to change it’s size when it’s not sticky, you need to use the following custom css:

But like we said, above site is not even responsive so we still have no idea, how search bar supposed to look like on mobile. But, if you want to change the default look of search on desktop, you should go to BeTheme Options > Header & Subheader > Extras section and change Search style.
