When you purchase a license you won’t need to reinstall the theme on your setup – Salient doesn’t require you to sync a license with your domain, you just need to have one to legally use it and to use the https://envato.github.io/wp-envato-market/ plugin

HI… I have big problem with Japanese text. 1. after changed to Japanese language from english, the Japanese text is not aligned in iphone…. web and galaxy ok… do u have any suggestion or what is problem? I just used same google font as english… 2. How do you update the theme without having to build your website again?
Hey biancaclayton, when you update Salient using any of described methods: http://themenectar.com/docs/salient/updating-salient/ you don’t have to do anything extra. The only time updating becomes a process is when you’ve modified core theme files instead of using a child theme

Hi, i´m using salient since 2013 and still very happy A few weeks ago i made a big update from 2.0 to 8.5 everythig works, but since i use the VC some site are made with VC some are not jet updated.
I just have a minimal problem when making a new VC site. Just take for example a look on: https://www.blende11.de/infos/faq/
In desktop everything is good, in moblie, there is a gap between the header and the picture. Why?

At the moment you only can set a image with an particle-hover-effect.

Hey guys – great work… I’ve been using this theme for a while. I was customizing a function in the single page, and noticed that I could not do it with a child theme adequately because the function was re-declared. I fixed it by adding a verification on the main theme functions file:
if ( ! function_exists( ‘project_single_controls’ ) ) { function project_single_controls() {
I hope you guys can add that to the theme functions—it’ll help others using child overrides.
