Hello, The demo content is included as a automatic theme setup, it’s downloaded when the theme is installed. It appears that you might be using Version 1 ? Please note that upgrading to version 2 is not recommended directly from version 1. We are still supporting version 1 with any bug fixes. Always makes sure a backup before you do any upgrading. Also, please be aware that version 2 is a major update and will not carry forward your content from version 1, although you can always roll it back we suggest a full backup prior.

I am in the final decision of buying the theme, but have two quick questions:
1. During “Checkout” of a selected hotel room, I only get the possibility of “Check payments”, that sends a check to the store, and “Paypal”. Is the theme integrated with Swipe so that the payment easily can be done with cards such as Visa, without having to use PayPal?
2. Can I use multiple Availability Calendars on the same page, for different rooms?

2 – Yes, you can have as many as you like on one page.

Hi Ryan, First of all, thank you again for your amazing theme Bellevue, I love it! I’m contacting you here because I can’t anymore post a ticket on themovation.ticksy.com, and I have the same issues that Titok described. When there was the updated to V2, I didn’t received any email to let me know there was that new version. The theme was automatically updated to V2 by an Envatomarket plugin and my site was broken. Fortunately, I had made a back-up. I looked for help, and I saw your article 12249, so I could downloaded the last version bellevue-classic-master 1.9.1 and updated it over FTP. Now it works well. Please, send me an email when there will be a new version 1.9. I also have a little isssue with WP bokingsystem plugin (I can’t post screenshot there), the same that Titok said. And I also have an url redirected to the blog on every page. https://brindecocagne.com/wp-content/themes/bellevue-child/assets/js/th_single_product_page.js?ver=1 I have a child theme, but I don’t know how to fix that. Updating Bellevue Version 1

First of all, thank you again for your amazing theme Bellevue, I love it!
As you wrote in your article 12249, I feel free to contact you because I have a little issue with this updating.
I don’t know why, but I didn’t received any email to let me know ther was a new version, and as I have an automatic updating plugin to the theme on WordPress, it installed the version 2. After that, everything was broken, and I managed to reinstalled the last version I had. After that, I went on Themovation site and I found your articles… So, I downloaded the last version bellevue-classic-master 1.9.1 and updated the theme over FTP. It wasn’t working, on wodpress I had always a message that told me there was a new version…. So, I desinstalled the Envatomarket plugin, and now it’s OK.
I updated the shortcode, masterslider and wpbooking plugins over FTP (it didn’t worked automatically) and I made a back-up before. I still have a little issue with wpbooking. It is about the booking form that doesn’t appears well on the site : the button “book know” and the recpatcha are not aligned as there were before (screenshot1), there are like this(screenshot2). I don’t know how to fix that, so I reinstalled my backup for wpbooking system plugin. I’d like to put the latest version, could you help me, please ?
In september, when the updating was made automaticly with the plugin Envatomarket, the theme was installed above WP. When I did the manuel updating, I put it in wpcontent-theme (capture1). Can I delete the other one of september (capture 2), I didn’t dare?

RE: WP Booking – Happy to help. Might just be a caching thing. Did you have any custom css? Did you use a child them? If so, do you have a backup?

Do I create one room, and assign 3 different calendars to it?

1 – For the Calendar setup (3 rooms), you can use different calendars but list them next to each other so the guest can see all availability. You can have multiple calendars per page. Or if you want to use one calendar then you could use the calendar as a request form only and update the availability manually in the admin. Will that work for your needs?

I can’t seem to get the cart icon to show on mobile, also is there away to have the booking form automatically add to cart, without having to click ‘add to cart’ afterwards, or at least have the form not anchor down after clicking submit and hiding the add to cart button. Thanks

It’s possible to just enable the cart icon on mobile but it is not styled to appear properly on mobile so it doesn’t align right: https://cl.ly/1v3i2D3V2Y3G
One option is I could send over some code that would enable you to add a menu item that only appears on mobile – so you could have a cart link just for mobile: https://cl.ly/2t3d2Y3G273C

Hello, thanks for your interest. Yes, the plugin supports iCal, one way export. If you want to use two way syncing you can install and use VR Calendar as the WP Booking System is easy to deactivate if you wan to use a different plugin. Others have said that it works well for two way.

Hi, we’re currently using v1.8.9 of the theme. Going by a comment I read somewhere, it is understood that we should not be upgrading our website to v2. Is that correct? If we do wish to upgrade, would that be like setting up a whole new website, is it? Thanks!

Hey! Thanks for the prompt response. I wasn’t so prompt because I had been trying to figure out updating to V2. Turns out, it isn’t all that straightforward. After working on it and trying to figure out the new page builder widgets, I decided to rollback to the previous version. I’m now going to set up the website newly with V2 on local host and then make it live in a few days. For now I’m going to try to get the latest of V1.
Bellevue has always been beautiful. V2 is even better…and I can’t wait for it to go live on my website!
Oh, by the way, the theme needs the ‘Page Builder Widget Pack’ and I can’t find a way to install it on the local host. Is there a way to download it separately? This is so because on the XAMPP local host the guided setup failed to install any of the plugins so I have to install all of them manually.

Sounds like a permissions issue? I also ran tests the other night , upgrading from V1 to V2, and it was pretty smooth. I guess I should test on XAMPP

So it was permissions issue indeed. I still can’t upgrade plugins, but some of the other important things worked, and I can now finally work on local host (also macOS). I really like the new Bellevue, so I’m really keen on upgrading. However, I ran into a couple of issues which make no sense to me:
1. Rooms don’t show up on the grid (I have checked all obvious settings that I could think of or find).
2. WP Booking System won’t let me create more than one calendar or edit legend, etc. Is this something that is likely to change in the live version once uploaded to the server? Also in the current version (1.9.1) I can’t create a third calendar. When I contacted Bryght Support, they suggested that I check with you first.

1 – Rooms won’t show up. Please make sure you have a featured image set under the rooms / edit page. As an alternative you can add an image to the ‘alternative grid image’. https://cl.ly/2x3D210z3v1L
2 – Hmm, that is kinda odd. What version of the Booking Calendar are you using? The new version of Bellevue ships with WP Booking System 4.2.1 You’ll find it under the plugins folder inside the themes/bellevuex/plugins folder. Also, you can check the JS console to see if there are any script errors.

Just trying to Install the prepacked WP Booking plugin, and getting errors on the front end.

I redownloaded the plugin from here today, in the package that comes with this theme, which is 4.2. Haven’t used the booking form supplied with the theme before, so can’t say if it’s worked in the past or not.

1 – The booking system that we bundle is optional, you aren’t required to use it, you can use any system you like. For booking a bed, you could create a calendar for each bed so that you can managed your availability that way. It should work well. If not, you can always contact us.
2 – Yes, that’s correct. You can take payments via WooCommerce. 
3 – Yes, that’s correct. You can book manually in the admin as well as the front end.

There are two places where we add video,
1) in the top area beside the text. This is done with a column shortcode and an iframe. we add this into an HTML meta box.

How well does this theme sync with VRBO? Can it sync calendar and reviews from VRBO?
