The lightbox text is populated from the Image title and description fields. Currently the formatting is how it’s seen in demo.

The lightbox supports Purchase Links which is populated from the image data field which is set by the theme. It doesn’t use tags for the lightbox.

We have different ratios in Fullscreen Thumbnail wall here

They are currently displayed as a column so width is set with height varying according to image ratio.

Hey, yes that is what i need. Maybe i´ve got it wrong. I know these “Homepages” but just as a random collection of posts that are set as an image instead of text.

Is it possible with the Refrakt Theme to have multiple of thoses (http://refrakt.imaginem.co/fullscreen/photowall-lightboxes/) pages showing different images picked and arranged by me?

That’s a photowall with images. You can drag and drop images to populate them. And sort or remove items as you prefer. The Photowall lightboxes will display a larger image when clicked.

You can create as many fullscreen photowall posts as you require. You can set it as homepage or have them as separate pages linked to menu.

Check if this works as you require. All functions of the theme will work as in demo out of box without any additional coding.

Fullscreen screen portfolio ( Link ) is currently displayed as masonry layout. If you supply images with same dimensions then it will display as a grid. Fullscreen portfolio and non-fullscreen portfolio ( Link ) which are made inside normal pages aren’t the same in style.

Both Refrakt and Photonic are using the same lightbox. In Photonic the thumbnails are not active. Displaying thumbnails were included in Refrakt as a new feature. If it is thumbnails that you mention for the difference then we can disable thumbnails in Refrakt theme for you through our support forum.

The portfolio gallery supports youtube and vimeo videos which can be displayed within the lightbox.

Switching from Kinetika theme to Refrakt will migrate the fullscreens, events, portfolios and proofing pages. However after switching theme you’ll need to republish all the pages/posts so that the new post data for Refrakt theme can be added to them.

Proofing posts in Refrakt theme has an additional client management section which isn’t there in Kinetika. Refrakt theme however doesn’t use the Photo Stories as in Kinetika. If you check Refrakt theme demo you’ll find all features that is included with theme.

You can set a color to it via theme options > Accent color section. There’s a color picker where you can choose a color which applies to the accent color of the theme.

Both Refrakt and Kreativa are well made themes by us. Refrakt lazy loads the gallery images to page. This is more apparent in very large galleries otherwise it won’t be so noticeable between the themes as the thumbnails don’t carry so much of size weight. There’s animated draw service icons in this theme which is a highlight and uncommon. There’s also the horizontal carousel fullscreen and particles fullscreen slideshow.

Kinetika has more menu types compares to the other two. Sorry, we currently don’t have plans for Kinetka to transfer features from themes to fill the differences.

If you’re choosing among the two, best if you choose based on features seen in demo. This way you will be sure it will achieve your requirements.
