Hi Andrea,
Got another an issue here. I installed the widget that allows you to clone posts easily in the post section of WP. I have been creating multiple pages based on an original post.
I have been pasting in the Youtube Video code right at the top of the video editor in cloned posts, which appears nicely in the post edit view. I’v changed the name of the post, category and everything, However, when I preview the post it shows a different video.
I have created multiple posts, all with different videos that appear in the editors just fine, but they all seem to show the same video when previewed.
I now have 30+ posts all with different videos in, but when they preview in the browser they all show the same video.
I have looked everywhere trying to find where it’s sourcing the same video from but can not see where it’s pulling the video in from.
Please advise.

The story is the following: - when you add a video, WP makes a hidden field with all the data about the video - when you clone the video, all this hidden data comes to the cloned post - even if you change the video, the “hidden” fields with the video ID generated by WordPress doesn’t get refreshed (because of WP bug itself). Therefore, we don’t recommend to clone the video posts, instead, just copy and paste the NON VIDEO content.

Looking to insert some Adsense ads. I have read your instructions thoroughly, and spent some time trying to work it out. Installed the plugin ‘WP Simple Adsense Insertion’ which now generates the shortcode.
Your instructions do not specify how and where to use the shortcode.
For example, I have a shortcode: [wp_ad_camp_1]
Where does this go and how do I use it?
When I click on the current ‘Text Block Setting’ where an ad already appears, do I paste it into ‘Visual’ or the Text’ Tab? or is there some other way?

Just google for “WordPress Membership Plugins” and you’ll get an idea of what the market offer.

Hi there! I have no specific suggestions for this kind of plugins but theoretically, all third-party plugins should work well with Vlogger. Maybe you will need to tweak them with some CSS customizations but you shouldn’t have any functionality issues.

Hi there. Downloaded and installed the theme just fine. Also installed the demo. However, every time I click on a page like in the menu, or try and edit a page and preview, it states:

Hello there ! I am going to be sincere i haven’t bought a license yet, a friend lent me the theme for me to test it out. Actually i am a Divi customer, but planning to become a Youtuber and your theme seems to fit this scope perfectly. I mean Divi can do it too, but yours would be the easiest way to achieve what i want.
So as i said for the moment i am really just testing if it works right from scratch before buying anything… And the thing is i already got an issue while trying to install all the required plugins. Should be an easy step… just an “install” click away, but 2 plugins are missing from your servers.
The Theme core plugin and the WP Bakery can’t be downloaded, so i just want to know if it’s a temporary maintenance issue ? the message is “Download failed. Not Found Plugin not activated. A higher version of Theme Core Plugin is needed for this theme. Please update the plugin.”

Hi, i have a presale question. On each single video post i see a big featured image under the video player. Is this a video thumb generated automatically when publishing a youtube video or the editor must upload it? Thank you

The featured image of each video can be set manually or using a plugin called Video Thumbnails that works with the YouTube bulk video importer. When you add a video it will automatically set the YouTube thumbnail as featured image.

- YouTube API Key missing in Video Importer Settings - Video Thumbnails plugin: try to deactivate it and do again the bulk import.

When you create a post and you add a video WordPress generates some hidden fields containing the video id. Even if you change the video, those hidden fields are not refreshed.
When you create a new post you cannot edit a previous one, you have to create a new post from scratch.
This is a well known WordPress issue (https://core.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/37597) but the WordPress developers don’t want to do anything about it because they say it is a very remote case. See these links:

I was unable to contact the author, directly, for the author requires I purchase the theme before providing support access. Thus, while I have no idea if this message will ever been read by the author: BEFORE I purchase this theme, I need to speak with the author about my specific use case. It is difficult to appreciate, from the theme’s description, if I could purpose this as a Television News website. When I say “Television.” I mean = network TV (such as CNN, MSNBC…). When I say News website, I mean = live, streaming commercial news programming on home page, along with syndicated content available for paid viewing, elsewhere on the site. This is not a video blog site. It is not a portal for prerecorded content ported from Vimeo or YouTube. It is commercial TV. Can this theme work for such a purpose? Can the sliders be video sliders, selecting content on-the-fly? Can I rid the theme of blogging noise? The network has other sites for that. This is intended to be the live broadcast site, along with syndicated programming.

Vlogger is the perfect theme for YouTubers, Video Tutorials, Online Courses and video blogs. This theme works at its best if you already have a YouTube channel and want to build a personal website with your video content in 5 minutes. That’s the idea.
By the way, we have happy customers that use Vlogger for local TV website with ease (for example have a look here: http://rhein-tv.de/).
We have lots of shortcodes including sliders, but they can’t play video on the fly and link to their single video page (here you can set the autoplay function on page load). Have a look on the main demo, under the page “Elements” to all the shortcode you can use. http://themes2go.xyz/demos/vlogger/demo/Currently, the theme does not include a pay per view function yet, you need to add via a third-party plugin.
Last, you can obviously hide all the “blog noise” with few clicks.

Hello Dr M, I saw the theme you linked me but I can’t find any “live” streaming video. I only see a schedule with static images and no video player embedded in it. Maybe I don’t totally get it.
About adding “live” video inside the sliders: currently, you can’t add live video inside the sliders because they support only featured image.
By the way, the theme support live streaming provided from YouTube or Twitch so you can embed its video player in a single video post.

Unfortunately, the author has never responded to my inquiries, thus…simply don’t know. 2) regarding your suggestion, “e theme support live streaming provided from YouTube or Twitch so you can embed its video player in a single video post…” To be clear – we are NOT a blog site. We are a television network. There are no “video posts.” All content is either “live” broadcast content or syndicated rebroadcasts of just-broadcast programming. 3) returning to the theme example I provided, in which there is a slider with an image and time counter for the impending “live” stream: can your theme accomplish this – when the counter reaches 0:00 (“live” stream is beginning, now), could there be a big button in the slider that changes from red to green, and from “offline” to “live” (for instance) upon which a visitor/viewer could click to start the “live” stream? Then, for instance, the slider would open a full-screen television viewer…?
Just noodling through potential ways to work with your theme, if I can make it work.

Hello Dr. M , what my colleague was trying to explain is that you are mentioning a wide array of functions that are not part of the product. You can check the features in our demos and description, plus you can access the manual here

We believe that you will need to apply a good amount of customization in order to reach the result you require.

Good morning and thanks for your reply, in my opinion the theme can be a good starting point for a network, as it features many unique opportunities such as video templates, many ads placements and a very very flexible home page structure base on Page Composer. So if you analyzed the demos and listed the differences compared to your requirements, once the design fits your taste, I believe this theme could fit nicely for your project.
That said, an important point i’d like to underline, is that big networks with special requirements such as detailed shows list of every channel, usually builds a website for every channel, as this makes it much easier to manage the contents, so this is my final suggestion after analyzing real-life examples.

Hi I bought the theme and it seems awesome, the thing is that when I post a video in a blog post (with tutorial and video post type) it doesnt show any image / frame from the video, only the “play” button of the player and the header background, any advice on how to fix this? thanks

You can do it manually if you want a custom one, otherwise you can install the “Video thumbnails plugin” (https://wordpress.org/plugins/video-thumbnails/) that will generate a video thumb automatically for you.

As I can see the white line on the top page could be deleted by setting on the first row of Visual Composer margin and padding set to 0px. This should fix your glitch.
Regarding the registration on our support website, I’ve just received a notification “Mail delivery failed: returning message to sender” with this message: “Unfortunately, messages from [173...*] weren’t sent. Please contact your Internet service provider since part of their network is on our block list (AS3140).”
It seems that your IP is blacklisted by our server. I will talk with our IT specialist and I’ll keep you posted.

Hello, we really like this theme but have a presale question. Are we able to sell the videos? or integrate it with a pay per view? Basically, the client can see an intro of the film and they pay to continue to watch. Any feedback would be great. Thanks

Just checked, the video you see on all the pages is the default demo video.

I see on your website that you have duplicated items on the navigation: this is because you imported the demo twice. I suggest to you do a fresh installation of WordPress and Vlogger and then let me know if the issue is fixed.

Okay thanks, yeah i figured it out. Also curious, in the posts there is top and bottom bars for social media and ratings/views bar …. is there a way to eliminate one of them since sometimes the posts wont have too much texts and seems redundant to have two so close to each other.

Thanks, got things settled but another question, for the menu text on header, ive been trying to change the text color etc, i can change everything except the text font, i can change highlight, hover etc but i can’t seem to change the color from white to black or something different since my background for header is white. as seen on the website.
