Your instructions for the fusion slider are TERRIBLE! i’ve built many web sites and used many sliders and I’ll be damed – after reading your instructions and watching your movies I STILL can’t figure out how to add slides. You need to do a better job of showing how to use this!

This is surprising to hear as Fusion Slider is the most easy to use slider, all you have to do is create a slider (like a custom post) and than assign that slide to the created slider, its a 2 part job.

I finally just used my Soliloquy Slider. I LOVE Avada. It’s my first choice ever – but I find that Fusion Slider incomprehensible.

Does this Theme no have header drag and drop? i don’t like any of the header layouts, I wen to widget options and i can’t see font size, where you change the widget font size? for example footer widget font size? i was told that this theme was super customizeble so far i can’t do anything without css.

We do have pre made layout for our headers that you can choose from under Avada > Theme Options > Header > Header Content however you can choose which secondary header content to put as well as header content 3 that appears on most header where you can choose to put any banner or custom HTML code.
The Font sizes in our theme are controlled globally from Avada > Theme Options > Typography > Header Typography / Body Typography
Font Styling for footer can be done from Avada > Theme Options > Footer > Footer Styling

You can change only Footer Headings Typography, where is the option to change footer widget font? so hard to customize something as simple and at the same time so important? the footer and the headers should be customized like the pages. they are 50% of the web site. i want to change the place of the search box how you can do that? well get flatsome…

The theme does not have a header drag and drop method, it is however a new set of features that our development team is working on for an upcoming release of Avada, soon. The customization options are extensive. You had mentioned about changing the typography for the footer font only, well that is handled via the option set mentioned by Ammar above. We have purposefully not released additional functionality for the header and footer, because of it coming out in version 6.0 which is very soon

I’m a student and want to purchase this theme for ecommerce but I’m confused that when I open and scroll down then search bar and other cart bar are disapeare. I just want to know two things

1. You mean if you can add them to the Sticky Header? yes you can add them to the sticky header and that should show them on scroll too as you can see here => http://prntscr.com/hx1sin
2. We have not officially tested those 2 plugins with our theme but i have seen some of our customers using WC Vendors with our theme, i will suggest getting in touch with the plugin author about it too as well please.

Hi! I really want to buy the Avada theme but have one question before. I need the ‘header below slider option’, but in the Demo the slider has the page height and the header is sticky to the bottom of the page first, and after scrolling sticky to the top.
Is it possible to use a fixed height slider, then below (halfway the screen) followed by the header and then maybe sticky to the top after scrolling (but not necessary).. Hope to hear from you!

You definitely can achieve your layout with Avada, but he option to have the header kick in after scrolling, in that position, is not available. You will need to implement a custom solution for that

Awesome, sounds good! So the slider height can be fixed as set in the slider revolution options? (different height for mobile and desktop) and then show the menu and some content? And can I choose a different slider for each page to show in the top area? Thanks!

Yes, you can indeed set the slider height as per your own requirement for mobile and desktop both using Custom Grid Option for the revolution slider, and also the header will come up down or above it depending on what setting you put on each page as well as yes you can also set a different slider on each page in Avada using our Fusion Options, here is an easy layout i made for you just to show you => http://prntscr.com/hxge7n

There is quite a collection of plugins to choose form for this, so I suggest using the best and most popular available. These are the requirements for the latest Avada and WordPress -> http://bit.ly/1SyarGK – and MySQL 5.6 or higher is recommended. I do not think you will have issues running MySQL 5.1, but unfortunately we cannot guarantee the compatibility with a legacy version for the database

When you update your theme, the new demos will be there on the demo tab. The latest theme version is Avada 5.4, also make sure to update Fusion Core and Fusion Builder plugin.

Yes you can indeed, you can add as many addresses as you want to and the choice of map is definitely yours, you can zoom and zoom out to show a specific part of map.

Hi, Love the theme and am looking to buy another license, if Avada can handle a few specific capabilities:
On the blog home page (I particularly like the Large Image full width) can you insert html and short codes so that you can separate two columns and in one have an iframe widget?
Not looking for the how to right now just to know “Is that possible in Avada?” and if it is I will purchase another license.

Basically what you require is possible with our Portfolio element as you can check here with the half image layout => http://bit.ly/2nDJhUt however for posts the featured image will always take the full span of page but we are always listening to our customers ideas and suggestions so please send us yours to support@theme-fusion.com please and we will gladly add it to our list.

I like that, with the featured image taking the full span, is possible to do what you did with the portfolio UNDER the image, (e.g. Little bit of text next in one column on the left and then html in another column on the right)?

You can do anything in the content area for sure and you should have no issues with that, the content area does take HTML so you can put 2 columns there using our Fusion Builder and thats it you are done, you can even put upto 6 columns there without any issues, are you having any issues with it?

Allow us to explain to you in detail how bundled plugins work, in regard to theme included plugins, it is not unique to Avada and applies to any theme that includes a plugin:
- The theme purchase includes the Layer and Revolution Slider plugins, at no extra cost
- As of right now, Avada 5.4 is the latest version of the theme. The latest version of the Layer Slider plugin is version 6.6.5 and Revolution Slider is version 5.4.6.4
- Because it is plugin territory, the respective plugin authors include a global update call for the plugins and it does not apply to theme included plugins -> http://d.pr/i/C4PWvO
- The next release of Avada will in turn include the latest next version of the Layer and Revolution Slider plugins available at that time
- You can safely ignore/dismiss the plugin authors update notice and it will not affect your site in any way

This is really stupid. After more than a year it is still not possible to translate the frontend of the webshop. I still see “Add to Cart” etc I have downloaded the .po and .mo files. I have changed the Wordpress language. The settings page says its on nl_NL but the front end is still in English. It’s just soo annoying and a complete waste of time.

Please follow the below instructions to set up your translation files and you can then add replacement words / translations for any of the theme/woo words.
If your translations files were saved inside the /themes/Avada/languages or /plugins/fusion-builder/languages folders previously, they can get overwritten during updates.
If you haven’t created/setup translation files before, please copy the Avada.po file from your /Avada/languages/ folder. You can then rename this file to Avada-en_US.po or Avada-de_DE.po etc (use your own language/country code like Avada-xx_XX.po
Copy the fusion-core.pot file (from under /plugins/fusion-core/languages), paste it again there and rename it to fusion-core-en_US.po or fusion-core-de_DE etc (with your country code and language code)
Copy the fusion-builder.pot file (from under /plugins/fusion-builder/languages), paste it again there and rename it to fusion-builder-en_US.po or fusion-builder-de_DE etc (with your country code and language code)
In order to not lose your translation files after updates: please add your translation files to the below locations instead.
a) Avada-en_US.po under /wp-content/languages/themes/ folder (or Avada-de_DE.po, Avada-xx_XX.po and .mo – these are just example file names, use your own language/country code)
b) fusion-builder-en_US.po under /wp-content/languages/plugins/ folder. (or fusion-builder-de_DE.po, fusion-builder-xx_XX.po and .mo – these are just example file names, use your own language/country code)
c) fusion-core-en_US.po under /wp-content/languages/plugins/ folder. (or fusion-core-de_DE.po, fusion-core-xx_XX.po and .mo – these are just example file names, use your own language/country code)
d) Copy the woocommerce.pot file from under /wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/i18n/languages folder, save it as woocommerce-en_US.po (or your language/country code like woocommerce-de_DE.po) under /wp-content/languages/plugins/
You can then use the Free PO Edit application (www.poedit.net/download) to search the ‘abc string’ line that you need to change/translate and add a new translation/replacement. Hit the save button in PO Edit application. You’ll now also get a .mo version in the same folder where you saved the .po file. Copy both the .mo and .po files back to the correct folders as mentioned above.
You’ll need to follow similar steps to add translations for fusion-builder-xx_XX.po file – this file contains translations for shortcodes like Blog / Recent works shortcodes etc. missing translations for any words like “Read More” etc

Hi, I just updated to the new avada and went through 13 steps of conversion but then the panel stops at “Done ! converting language 1 of 2”. I waited few mn but nothing is happening. My website is in arabic. Could you please tell me if I missed something?

It should then started converting for other language as well without any issues, if that is not happening please make sure that your multi language plugin WPML or Polylang is updated to its latest version.
