Hi guys, in the create a course section, can we delete some options in the settings. For example, can we delete “start date” or student course retake”, can we delete some of the options that instructors can choose? Regards
Yes you can use course templates for that. Cdeate a course and at the last step you get an option to save it as a template where you can set which setting to show and what to hide, the hidden settings will take the deafault value of the course. This template can be used later on for creating courses.
Hi I am using “Content” Course Layout and my manage(edit) course button gone. How can I edit course especially how can I add new students to course?
To add new students in course tou can use the course- admin section. For edit course please check that you have the edit course page connected at wp admin – wplms – course manager
Thanks but my problem is i can not reach course-admin menu. I connected course manager earlier but still same. there is no menu because of I am using Content Course layout.
Try typing the admin part manually in the browser url. like xxx.com/course/abc/admin or xxx.com/course/abc?action=admin

Hi! I buy this theme but your problem is search options. You don’t have a good search module and this is problem whit this theme. I buy but I can not use and all so, it is to slow.

We already have search options, you can search by instructor, by course category or course location or course levels. In the header search we added search options in our 3.6 update around 6 months back. Once again, if you feel something should be added to the theme, I am requesting you to tell us your suggestion via proper channel and share more details.

I am looking for a WP LMS solution so that I could create something similar like let us say Memrise or Duolingo. That means all courses would be self-study, students would learn many words and phrases one by another together with some images or videos. Basically a flashcard style with a course progress-bar, very quick learning + some gamification (points for every step) and community. Do you think something like this is possible to do with WPLMS? Which setup would you suggest? (WPLMS with which plugins,theme or kind of setup?)

Hi! I have 2 problems: 1- The theme is not sending the activation email after registration. There’s no way to activate the account from user side. I’ve already activate BuddyPress and never touch the email message or tokens. 2- I need to upload videos in each units from cincopa (with a js library already designed). The video show but still not reproduce. I already wrote on the support forum.
1, Well please goto wp-admin -> lms -> settings -> emails ->click on edit activation email and check if there is an activation email present in your site . refer : screenshot
2. please try enabling “Disable ajax in Course unit load ” from wp-admin -> lms -> settings .

When I looked at your demo sites, I liked your demo Modern Theme (http://themes.vibethemes.com/wplms/skins/modern/). I have tried to install your templates with demo data 3 times, but couldn’t get the same view. When I installed Morden Theme with Morden Skin, I got a Homepage like on the Demosites, but a course page, a blog page and other pages were only like the same pages on Demo 3. All the modern theme features are available in all the theme skins, however if you want the exact demo then youll need to install the modern child theme. And use the one click sstup wizard. I had watched this video, but… you had filmed WPLMS in version 1.9.8. I have the theme and plugin WPLMS 3.0. In that version you changed all process of instalation of plugins and demo. I installed WPLMS theme (didn’t activate it), after that I installed modern child theme and activated it. After that I had a long installation process and I had got home page like morden theme. However the blog page and the course page are as in demo3. I can get the course page as in the morden theme via changing theme layout http://joxi.ru/EA4vBNKuwEkOem. However I don’t know how to get it for other pages.
If you’ve installed the modern child theme, keep all the layouts to default in the Customizer – Layouts section.
I tried to do the same as you explained. However, I still have a problem with installation all correct demo Modern theme. During all installation process, I had been showing frontend of the site. At first I saw, that the correct theme for blog post had installed. And I had shown you that, when I opened the site. But on the last step of installation, pageview of blog had changed into demo 3. And the coursepage had the same configuration – I had shown you that. Only a homepage had a correct view. I had installed the last version of your theme and I don’t understand what goes wrong.
