Hi,
Something is wrong with the theme, its not the first time it happens to me, the Save & Cancel button does not work if you want to edit anything, for example an image frame… once you click on save or cancel button, nothing happens except the color picker for one of the options starts opening and closing… theres a glitch or something.
I updated the WP and the Avada theme via FTP, and the problem still occurs. All patchs are installed and i tried deactivating all the plugins to see if they are causing the error, but nothing changed.
Can you please tellme how to fix this issue?

This is down to one of two things. (1) WordPress was updated but the theme was not updated to Avada 5.4, or, (2) The theme and WordPress were updated however a confirmed WordPress Core language file bug is the root cause as explained in detail in this help file -> http://bit.ly/2B930Sm

Ive been reading the forum from the first link you posted, but honestly i dont understand anything, im not a coder, i understand there is a language bug creating a media element issue, and i see alot of talking about codes and Deutsch language, but i dont understand what is the solution exactly and how do i apply it. This should actually never happen in the first place, however in short what you need to make sure is that you are on the latest version of WordPress as well as on the latest version of our theme Avada that is 5.4 and you should not be seeing this issue, if however you are still not able to use Fusion Builder please do open a support ticket and our team will gladly help.

Is there an easy way to make the header banner code area a slider area that I can make a different slider for each page.
Option B, would be making the header banner code area a section that can be different for each page (or post)?

That is not a possibility right now i am afraid because the header banner area only take basic HTML and some of our elements also the header is included globally across all pages in WordPress at once so you can not have the different content on each page.

Making change to Avada. I have cloned my current site to create a staging site. Can I use two of your different demos (construction and simple shop) at the same time?
... also, since I’m adding the demos to my current site, is there a way to note which pages are from the demos and which are my site’s pages? I’d basically like the construction site demo with the class shop woocommerce

You can not run 2 demos on the same domain actually because each demo has its own set of Theme Options and once another demo is imported above it the pages will get merged and also theme options will be replaced along with Widgets and menus, you should only be installing one demo on 1 domain however you can use multisite for this purpose.

If i pick the construction theme, is it easy to create the look and feel of the shop pages?

The colours will not match for you since both of them use different color schemes however the layout will be same for Shop because we have same layout for the shop (woocommerce) that can be set from Avada > Theme Options > WooCommerce tab.

Trying to replicate our Avada site on a test server to run update tests. I also tried installing the new white label plugin but received this error:
“Something went wrong with the plugin API.”
Does that plugin require anything else before installing? Is that error common when installing the plugin?

My apologies, we will add that to the system status doc aswell however basically the issue you are seeing is due to your host it has either cURL disable or some other setting causing this issue. What we will suggest in this case is getting in touch with your hosting / server guys and tell them to look into this error please.

i have cheacked with my host provider & this reply i got
“I have checked this further and I can safely confirm that cURL is not blocked in any way on your web hosting server. Nevertheless, if the request to this 3rd party service is done via a non-standard port, then I’m afraid this will first need to be opened in an IP-PORT pair, on your server. For further information on this topic, you will need to contact your theme developer.
Even more so, I have checked all available logs and no errors whatsoever are being logged due to this particular service or due to the error you see in your theme’s status page.
I’d recommend testing the wp_remote_post() function in a live environment and if the issues persist, let us know here. Return with the exact steps taken so we can first replicate the issues on our end as well, in order to check the issue further.”

No. As in page transitions. For example, in the Salient theme, when you click from page to page, there’s a cool fade in/out effect. It doesn’t jolt from page to page.

I know this question has been asked before but i would like to just make sure I understand fully.
Our company uses a group structure and as such incorporates the websites into a multi-site. So from reading the comments am I right in saying that we will need to buy 14 regular licences to cover all the domains of the various companies in the multi-site?

Regarding your product licensing, you have to purchase/own a license for each publicly accessible domain install of the theme. Regardless of whether the installation domain is a sub domain or not, if it is publicly accessible, it requires a license.
If you are migrating to a different domain and you already have your product registered with your original purchase code etc, you do not need to purchase a new license; You can simply add your registered purchase information to the new installation’s product registration tab.

I have been told that Avada has issues (or used to have issues) with compatibility with the plugin ‘Wishlist Member’ Can you explain the exact issue, and if this issue still persists with the most recent Avada version? I do need to ask you what issues you have been told, that there are? I checked our support and there are no recent reports regarding compatibility with the plugin and Avada 5.4
Now saying that, can you show me what exact version of this plugin you are referring to? There are several. In terms of general plugin compatibility, we simply cannot guarantee 100% compatibility with every plugin available on the market.

Wishlist support also mentioned that your team at Avada released a special version or child of the theme to correct the issue for Wishlist Member users. At this point I am just curious if there are any reported issues, or support tickets coming in recently with the most current version of Avada, and problems with Wishlist. Perhaps the issue has been corrected. If not, what is your return policy?
Also, i meant to purchase the theme at the sale price $39 but it looks like i just missed the sale because i was investigating this compatibility issue. Could i still buy for $39?

I have just checked our ticket base and we don’t have any ticket that reported the incompatibility with this particular plugin yet, however our team have not yet checked or tested this particular plugin with Avada’s latest version so we can not provide any kind of guarantee on this, i will suggest getting in touch with the plugin author about this please.

I am using Avada theme since Purchase Date:2017-02-02 (10 months). I never used sliders plugins bundled with theme, But now i wanted use the Layer Slider and revolution slider onto the my website. While i was activating Product plugin using Product activation dialog and with purchase code.
Its completely throwing the error and by saying
“Your purchase code appears to be invalid. Please take special care to enter it correctly without accidentally including spaces or other additional characters. Please note, you can’t activate LayerSlider with your theme’s purchase code. This also can be a temporary issue in our services. In that case please try it again in a few hours.”

Allow us to explain to you in detail how bundled plugins work, in regard to theme included plugins, it is not unique to Avada and applies to any theme that includes a plugin:
- The theme purchase includes the Layer and Revolution Slider plugins, at no extra cost
- As of right now, Avada 5.4 is the latest version of the theme. The latest version of the Layer Slider plugin is version 6.6.5 and Revolution Slider is version 5.4.6.4
- Because it is plugin territory, the respective plugin authors include a global update call for the plugins and it does not apply to theme included plugins -> http://d.pr/i/C4PWvO
- The next release of Avada will in turn include the latest next version of the Layer and Revolution Slider plugins available at that time
- You can safely ignore/dismiss the plugin authors update notice and it will not affect your site in any way
