Why can’t I see the Fusion Builder for each Page I’m trying to edit? It just has the button to Use Default Editor… but not the Fusion Builder. I can’t see any of my page content to edit anymore since the 5.4 update. I don’t feel I should have to pay for support again for something the theme should be doing automatically for its proper functioning.

Without a doubt it should be showing the Fusion Builder for you however if its not please make sure that its enabled from Avada > Fusion Builder > Settings and make sure that its enabled for all post types as can be seen in this screenshot => http://prntscr.com/i082yd
If it still does not come up please look for any error in console or for any possible 3rd party plugin conflict in that case, however there should be no issues at all when it comes to Fusion Builder being used on any post type of our theme as well as custom ones.

Do you have any tips on a search options that works or has in the theme? I have a client looking to load a ton of videos and she needs a fast and customer friendly way to search, she also will be adding a ton a recipes.

However for more advanced AJAX based search you can try many advanced search plugins that are available out there

Hi. Even on clean installation of latest version of WordPress and Avada with applying patches, on wooCommerce product pages, I get this error:
Uncaught (in promise) TypeError: Cannot read property ‘getNotificationManagerImpl’ of undefined at h (wp-tinymce.php?c=1&ver=4607-20171116:29) at k (wp-tinymce.php?c=1&ver=4607-20171116:29) at <anonymous>
This only happens in Persian (Farsi) language and only when Fusion Builder is activated. Meaning if I deactivate Fusion builder the error goes away OR if I use English language, it’ll be ok as well. There’s no other plugin other than WooCommerce and Avada’s Fusion Core and Fusion Builder installed/activated.

This error you are seeing is actually coming from one of the core WordPress files and should not be caused by Fusion Builder at all, however if you are still getting this on a clean installation of WP and Avada that will need us to check on your site in this case so can you please do open a support ticket with complete site details and our team will get back to you as soon as possible

Hi. Thanks for the reply. My support is expired and I can’t create a ticket. But do I need to renew my support in order to report a bug??! which wasn’t even there in previous versions?! That doesn’t seem fair as it’s not assistant in using the theme features and it’s a feedback to make a product I’ve purchased better and bug-free.

I believe there is a misunderstanding here clearly because this is not a bug in our theme, on my end the latest version of Avada works all fine and good without any issues in RTL languages so something is wrong on the system level here and not with the theme or else we will be seeing hundreds of reports daily for this.
I noticed that in your screenshot your Fusion Core plugin is not updated so please update that again and make sure that you are on 5.4 (latest version) of theme because from your screenshots it doesn’t look like you are, the Fusion Area is not as per our updated theme with Fusion Slider and Fusion Branding missing from there, i also notice that you have 6 patches that are not applied yet so please make sure your setup is all good and updated and if the issue persist simply open a ticket and we will check your site issue for sure

Ok. Trust me, I found the source of the problem. You can consider this as a complete bug report for your dev team on reproducing the issue. Please read carefully. It only happens in Chrome.
Steps to reproduce the issue as of today Jan 15th 2018: 1. Install latest version of WordPress (4.9.1) + Avada (5.4) + Patches + WooCommerce (3.2.6) with all settings as defaults. 2. Use an RTL language for WordPress. 3. Open console and create a product. 4. Here’s the console in Chrome: http://take.ms/ATqQM
Notes: - The issue only happens in latest version of Chrome. Version 63.0.3239.132 (Official Build) (64-bit) I’m using mac and Safari and Firefox are ok. - The issue only happens with RTL languages. - The issue only happens on add a product page. - When you deactivate Fusion Builder, the error in Chrome’s console doesn’t show up. - When you use LTR languages, even with Fusion Builder activated, the error doesn’t show in Chrome’s console. - I also fresh-installed Chrome. It’s still happening. - When you increase/decrease size of inspector window, the errors increase. - When you hover over the toolbar menu items in tinyMCE, the errors increase.

I have checked it out exactly and the issue you are seeing on chrome is definitely there but its also there for me on a default WordPress 2017 theme as well, you can check this screenshot => http://prntscr.com/i13zfj
The error is coming from the wp-includes folder it seems that is a default WordPress folder, i will suggest getting in touch with the WordPress support about this too please.

Please try again with 2017 WordPress theme. This time deactivate Fusion Builder. There will be no error in the console! So it seems like the issue is not from WordPress files and themes.
My environment: I only have Fusion Core and WooCommerce as active plugins and 2017 as the active theme. No issues. When I activate Fusion Builder; the error shows in console (on add product page).

After updating our server’s PHP version to 7.1, I am unable to activate the Slider Revolution bundled plugin. It needs to be updated, but I can’t do that without activating it first, correct?

Allow us to explain to you in detail how bundled plugins work, in regard to theme included plugins, it is not unique to Avada and applies to any theme that includes a plugin:
- The theme purchase includes the Layer and Revolution Slider plugins, at no extra cost
- As of right now, Avada 5.4 is the latest version of the theme. The latest version of the Layer Slider plugin is version 6.6.5 and Revolution Slider is version 5.4.6.4
- Because it is plugin territory, the respective plugin authors include a global update call for the plugins and it does not apply to theme included plugins -> http://d.pr/i/C4PWvO
- The next release of Avada will in turn include the latest next version of the Layer and Revolution Slider plugins available at that time
- You can safely ignore/dismiss the plugin authors update notice and it will not affect your site in any way

Thank you for this info. I have the latest version of Asana; the other bundled plugins (Fusion Core, Fusion Builder, Layer Slider) are up-to-date. But my Slider Revolution is at 4.3.2. Even if I wait until Avada comes out with an updated bundle, you can’t update a plugin without first activating it, correct? I can’t activate it.

Basically “Activating” and “Enabling” the plugins are 2 different things so please let me clear this firsthand.
1. You can always use the plugin without purchasing its license or “Activating the license” key as the plugin is bundled Free with our theme.
2. If the bundled version of plugin is older than the currently released version of plugin, you will have to wait for our next update of Avada where we will update plugin’s file and than you can update it as well, however if you want to update it otherwise you will require a separate individual license of theme for that.
3. Right now with our latest version of Avada that is 5.4 we are shipping the revolution slider version 5.4.6.4 as can be seen here => http://prntscr.com/i07z8r
If that is not the case for you please make sure that you are on the latest version of theme and if its still showing the outdated version of plugin simply download the latest version and install it manually from our server using our alternate plugin installation method as mentioned here => http://bit.ly/2eahzvS

There are a range of Fusion Page options that you can use to manage your header on a page by page basis, but in order to be able to change positioning of the header as you have described will require a custom implementation I am afraid. And it will require more than just a snippet of CSS

just a quick pre-sales question. I’m looking for a theme that also looks good on a mobile phone. Because I wasn’t happy with other themes I look very closely at avada and I think you have the same problem. I’m afraid that the company name (9 characters) that I want to use in the title line of a full width / full height banner on the landing page will not fit on a mobile phone screen (i.e. the right part of the word doesn’t show and it’s not even possible to scroll to the right in Google Chrome on a mobile phone). I tried several of your avada demos on my phone and with the adventure demo I saw the same problem. On the banner with the title “The construction of europe is the art of possible” the word “construction” does not fit on the screen on my phone ( the n is missing). Is this a fixable problem with avada?

I do not know what phone you are using, as there are so many out there, but Avada is tested against all common mobile viewport display and there are two sets of features that are built in that further enable you to manage the sites display on mobile viewports; Namely, responsive heading typography, sensitivity -> http://bit.ly/2ltPKzY and the Fusion Builder visibility system -> http://bit.ly/2sfGD9Q
The former allows you to determine just how much headings etc (your example being slider titles) will adjust according to the viewport and the latter, what content you want to have visible on mobile vs. desktop etc

You can update it being on any of them (child) or (parent) and it will not affect any of the content on your site, however if you are using some very old functions with child theme that might cause an issue with the latest version of theme so you need to update those files as well.

I am getting an error whenever I use the Google Map shortcode: “You have included the Google Maps API multiple times on this page. This may cause unexpected errors.”

You do not need to edit theme files at all actually, the translation technique should do the job for you all you need to do is translate that particular string and put the files back via FTP and that should do the job for you, by translate i mean (change / replace) the string here.

HI, I like your theme. But before I buy, I have a question. Your main theme Can be updated automatically, right? I do not have to update myself.
The problem has come through. I bought a theme from somewhere else in the themeforest.
When I use it for a long time. The page is loading very slowly. When tested with Google’s PageSpeed Insights Very low page load rating And need to edit. It also has to face the problem of being spam again.
Can your theme solve these problems?

Yes, our theme does have an Auto Update feature and it will notify you of an available update however you will have to click on the UPDATE button to update it as theme will not be updated on its own for you, users will have to make that choice.
