On my portfolio page, http://jeremyjesenovec.net/portfolio , I have 3 rows. Each has a different portfolio category. When this page is viewed on mobile, the images from the top row are all oversized and blurry. It’s not the objects or content in the row because I can switch the row around with other categories and it’s only the top row. I can put a blank row on top so that the first row with content isn’t blurry, but then it leaves a large space on top. So, it’s the top portfolio row on mobile no matter what category I move to the top row. This is not a problem on desktop.

Please update them first. You have an old version of it. The latest version is 2.2. Update Visual Composer along with it. See this article for instructions. The WooCommerce Cart is implemented with Ajax, so to functionate properly you need to update this code too:
Go to functions-woocommerce.php and search for: codeless_woocommerce_header_add_to_cart_fragment
You need to change the code here too.

For all included plugins we have purchased extended licenses. This means everyone purchasing theme, can use them without the need to buy a license their self. The included plugins are tested and fully compatible with theme. We update them frequently, in every theme update. But if one of them gets updated prior to theme release, you have to wait for us to update theme first. And therefore, update the plugin too. If you can not wait till the next theme release, you are free to buy a license of the plugin and update in your own terms. But we thought this is not necessary as all plugins work well and have no issue with current theme version.
You can make the choice that best fits your needs!

I really like your theme and I would like to take it. However, before that, I would like to be sure that it will serve my needs. Hence, could you please answer these three questions:
1) I would like to use the website mainly for a blog but I will need to have also About Us section, Homepage, Services, Shop, etc. Hence, could you please confirm whether the theme is flexible enough to be used a mix of a landing page and a blog? I want to include three blog pages with subpages. Is this possible?
2) Also, on each subpage of the blog I would like to be able to separate the news (for example when there is more than 10 news per page to separate them to different subpages 1,2,3…). Is this possible in your theme, so it will not break and have bugs when there are hundreds of articles there?
3) Can I use a mixture of elements from different theme versions in order to create my website?

Thank you for your interest in our theme! As you can see in the demo, there are plenty of different pages to be used for any purpose. You can use pre-build pages (by importing one of the available demos) or create new ones to fit your needs. 1) Yes, theme does have available already pages for About Us, Homepage, Services, Shop (you need to install Woocommerce plugin before) etc. By default, you can assign only one blog page from Wordpress options, but you can add many more by using the Visual Composer blog elements.
2)The number of your articles doe snot affect the blog page at all. You can have 1,2 or 100 articles. The main builder of theme is Visual Composer and it already has more than one blog element for you to use.
3)Every demo of the theme you see here, has all been created using the same theme options. So yes, you can mix-and-match elements to create your own unique site.

Sorry but the dates are not recorded. You can check out the latest theme update release time in theme’s details here (right sidebar). You have a very old theme version and it’s strongly recommended to always keep the latest version of theme and it’s included plugins.

Sorry but theme does not show image alt by default. If you want to add it, then you will need to edit core files. We have added it to the to-do list for future theme updates, but for now i suggest you use other ways to improve your SEO. Such as adding unique text, many tags in posts and use a good SEO plugin.

The files depend on the element you want the alt to show in. Example, for Media element, it’s file vc_templates/media.php. There is no reason for it not to be able to install in first place. Are you perhaps using a child theme? If so, please switch to parent theme before trying to install any of the included plugins. Portfolio items get the page header setting set up in General Options > Header Options > Default Page Header. Set up your home page header here. Change it’s font size in General Options > Styling > Default Page Header.

Encountered several bugs with the theme. The setup wizard results to missing essential plugin: Installing Plugin LayerSlider WP. https://www.screencast.com/t/l9iI9lQBD Support instructed to load a new file and replace the old plugin file but md5 checksums are the same, meaning they are practically the same file.
Getting support at their site is not pleasant. First company I saw where you get placed last in the support queue the more that you add information on your ticket. Their support site indicates unresolved cases are way more than the resolved ones.
The mobile functionality/responsiveness of these themes are bad too. You can easily check this out with their demos. Go to Chrome, visit their page, right-click, choose Inspect Element, Ctrl+Shift+M and choose any mobile device at the top. You will see that the menus are bad and most of the style is broken.

If I can’t change this feature without diving into the code its an issue to me and maybe some of your customers.
The email you replied to was for a different question regarding the recent portfolio pages themselves, it worked and I appreciate the help.
But this question I said I wanted to remove the hover buttons from the recent portfolio widget in the back end coding visualizer (the magnifying glass, and the chain icon) and use the images as a link as I don’t see the importance of seeing my thumbnail blown up before leading my user to the actual page where my portfolio is shown. In this case you have to use Post Grid element that comes with Visual Composer. Select portfolio as Data Source and overlay style. You can also customize it with Grid Builder.

There’s no way to just get rid of the icons?
I just want my images to be full width without titles with a transparent hover, and just clickable images. Grid builder seems to show titles, and create “read more” buttons and it gets me no closer to the look I was hoping for.
