- Want to use Avada for a small non-profit client. Is this theme over-kill, meaning too complex and more applicable to medium/large businesses?

1. That depends on your requirement Avada can be used for anything ranging from a personal portfolio to a large business, there is no such thing as overkill when it comes to Avada.
2. Yes, once you purchase the theme updates are free for lifetime.
3. You can definitely do that using any user role editor plugin.

5. We have our users on both kind of hosting actually, i am using a shared hosting from bluehost and it works like a charm for me.
6. This depends on user, we do provide a child theme with our complete installation package so if you want to make any changes into theme files we definitely recommend using one.

HI, I need the enveto token key to complete the registration and I’m not sure where to find it. Although I did this step right after i installed the theme but for some reason theme updates are not coming up and it keeps asking for token key if i try to update from my dashboard. Please help as my avada theme options is not working as it should, the area is blank and I’m unable to make any changes to my website.

One thing to note, when you click the “Generate A Personal Token” and the Envato Account page loads, make sure you are logged into the same account that purchased Avada. If you are not, then it cannot verify the purchase and the token will not work.

Header Styling and several other features don’t work in Wordpress 4.9.2 using Avada 5.4. I am not going to pay $42 to renew my support to figure out why your theme isn’t working correctly in the newest version of Wordpress.

To clarify, Envato introduced paid item support in September 2015 and we as theme authors had zero control over that. According to our support system, the support account you have been using is -> richdaniels – and it is valid and active
As to what you are reporting here, Avada is 100% compatible with WordPress 4.9.2. If it was not we would have several hundred thousand failures and would certainly have known about it, something else is at play with your site

That’s interesting because I just installed my copy of Avada 4.9.2 and it works fine with the new version of Wordpress. It’s the version 5.4 where the header styling doesn’t work. Houston, I think you have a problem.

How can I allow my user as “editor” to change and access menus?

That is not something that you can change from the theme settings, its a WordPress setting and you can use 3rd party advanced user plugins to control or change these, i did a quick google search and found these ones at the top.

Hi, I have just got a clients site and the Avada theme is installed but is on Version: 1.0.9 there is no updates showing available is it possible to update to the latest version, I don’t have the original purchase code or login as it was brought by someone who has left the company and hasn’t been used for years so I cant get into the support portal could you help me out as soon as possible?

Hmm so basically you do not have access to the account in this case? i am afraid we need to have a proper account access to validate your installation and license or else its not possible to provide you with the updated files or assistance, also you are on a very very older version of theme and this will require lots and lots of care when updating specifically updating from 1.0.9 to 5.4.1 that will need FTP access and much more to check your site.
I will suggest getting in touch with the person who bought the license and ask them to provide you with the purchase code as the account which bought Avada must have a grandfathered support so you can really use that account.

Appears to be an issue due to some of your 3rd party plugin actually as its setting the display to none or it might be your responsive breakpoints set to a very low value.
Please try disabling all your 3rd party plugins one by one and also remove your custom CSS if any of it being used, if however the issue persist please do open a support ticket and our team will get back to you as soon as possible.

Hello, first of all, I’m amazed by how good your product is. My question is rather silly, but after lots of time trying and failing, I decided to simply ask for help. I have woocommerce on my site, and the problem I having is that I cannot find options for changing colors on products boxes. For example, on clean product box design, i would like to change hover color and have it semi-transparent, similar to your demo sites, classic and modern shop. Our support has run out. And this was the first time today we installed this theme. It is a great theme…. but we are trying to use Visual Composer and Visual Composer Extensions Addon…. which we need to build our pages the way we want to. And this is not compatible at all. How do we take our API key off this site so we can use it on a diff domain. We cannot use this theme on this site. And we dont want to lose the theme. Please help.

Nothing special is required in this case actually, all you need to do is simply remove the keys from your Avada registration page and than remove the theme installation from your domain and you can use any other theme in place of that
Later than when you decide to use Avada again you can again install it and than register again once.

Hey there. Earlier, you sent me a link to resize portfolio thumbnail width (http://bit.ly/2gfTFkT). It does not seem to work. I say that because, via my child theme, I updated the 3-column image dimensions from 300×214 to now be 350×214.
However, Once I clear cache and inspect my code, it still shows…. image width=”300”
The file I modified was fusion-core.php add_image_size( ‘portfolio-three’, 350, 214, true );
Was this correct? Thank you.

Hello there, I think i have found a bug when adding a banner befor/after logo. I have used this code:
add_action( 'avada_before_header_wrapper', 'avada_add_banner' );
function avada_add_banner() {
echo '<img src="http://domain.com/ad.png" alt="Ad Banner" />';
}
this works ok. but when i try to change it to:
add_action( 'avada_logo_prepend', 'avada_add_banner' );
function avada_add_banner() {
echo '<img src="http://domain.com/ad.png" alt="Ad Banner" />';
}
This isn’t working, the image appear but it gives a javascript error.
Any suggestions? Can you give support for this BUG?

Well, there is no bug but rather the hook not being formulated correctly. The header JS looks for -> retina_logo_url – as it is expected for all logo images. So instead use:
add_action( 'avada_logo_prepend', 'avada_add_banner' );
