Bold Fonts in Safari FIX:
If you are having over-bolding issues with your fonts in Safari, I found this fix on the Elated support site.
From Elated options > General > Custom CSS field, remove: stroke-width:3 — from the below default settings:
.moose{fill:none;stroke:#F27055;stroke-width:3;stroke-miterlimit:10;}
It fixes it immediately once you save.

Hello, I am using Moose theme (version 1.8), and using Elated Slider for the home page.
I need to disable the parallax effect on the slider, but there is no option for that in the “Elated Options > Elated Slider” section.
Is there any parameter I can put in the shortcode to remove the parallax effect? Thank you!

Hi,
I am having issue implementing the FULL WIDTH section using the Moose theme. No matter what I do – set as Row or Parallax, Full Width or Grid, Full Screen Section, the section always show as “grid” style. Also note that the full theme is set to Full Width and not Grid.

Hi, there.
I am customizing a website for a client who bought this theme and I believe I found a bug in the side menu. When using a side menu in connection to AJAX page loading, the side menu links never lose the “current” class. Therefore, after clicking on a link once, when trying to visit the same page again, the link does not trigger any AJAX loading anymore, because it has already the “current” class.
I fixed that behavior adding a ”.side_menu a” selector to the other menu selectors on both lines 127 and 147 of the ajax.js (and the corresponding ajax.min.js) file. With that change, now the side menu works as expected, but I will lose that fix upon updating to any future version.

Hello, it seems we have a similar problem here. We made a child theme of Moose to build our site. View in desktop it looks great, but on mobile (iPhone) and Safari all type comes out super bold it hurts the eyes! The problem seems to be with the child theme, and not with google fonts. When we use the parent theme, the type comes back normal (but we loose all our style formatting). Any idea why it is like this?

All our themes are responsive and only theme related option related to this is in General section https://www.screencast.com/t/nHljXWCSwB9F and beside this there is also Visual Composer option for responsiveness of columns https://www.screencast.com/t/FTBszqczLkY . If issue which you are having isn’t related to these options then it is probably due to some plugin conflict, modifications, or maybe caching plugin.

I have the latest version of the Moose theme as well as Visual Composer and WordPress. My site looks just great on the front end. However, I cannot edit pages in the backend using Visual Composer. When I edit a page, I just see “text” or “code” version of my site. I can’t use the Visual Composer elements. If I scroll to the very bottom of the page, there is a half cut off notification about depricated items.
There’s also a Uncaught TypeError: $(...) on Console.
I’ve tried deactivating all plugins. This doesn’t work. However, when I change to a default theme like Twenty Seventeen – I can see VS again. This makes me think there’s a theme incompatibility. Can you help?

Try to deactivate all of your plugins to make sure they are not causing this issue. If the issue goes away, then you can enable them one by one to find out which one is causing the issue.

Bundled plugins are included with extended license which cannot be given to end users according to Envato rules. As far as the Blog posts go, they are always set as Default, and there is no option in the theme to change this. This is as per design. But with some custom CSS, you might be able to change it.
