Hi there, while editing the theme I messed it up and wanted to go back to how my theme was before I made all those adjustments. I emailed you guys and you said that there is a page revision so I can set the page back at different times that I make the edit. Can you show me where that page revision is? I just want to reset it back beore I messed up. Thanks!

I have had a recurring problem, I am unable to add any images into to the page, I am attempting to add featured images to the blog page and I keep getting the same error. I have attached an image of it below. If anyone has any solutions to this problem that would be great. This error has occurred since I started the site and I have never been able to solve it.

Have you checked the server error log to see more details on what’s being tracked in regards? Also, have you tried to increase your PHP memory limit to rule that out as well?

Somehow I managed to disable bottom-border for #header-outer, but it still haunts me whenever I go to another page of my website. My site is here: https://goo.gl/4sFnJ8. See, it loads and hides instantly, driving me nuts with all that blinking.
How do I remove it for ever?

I’m running Salient 8.5.3, VC 5.2.4 & WP 4.9.2 on hosting with PHP7 and I STILL can’t get the Visual Composer to work right. When I click inside any of the green tabs (ie text box) the only thing that comes up are VC column settings.
I thought this was an issue of running an older PHP version (I dug through the existing posts and it seemed that caused the issue). But I just bought a new hosting plan that supports PHP7, migrated my entire site over and did a fresh install of Salient & VC to ensure I’m running the latest versions and the issue still remains! I can’t build in short codes. What is wrong w/ Visual Composer & how can this be fixed??
PS I’ve also tried deactivating every plugin besides VC and the issue persists

Hey Marc, the demos that rely on widgets to make the layouts include them in the demo import via the Salient options panel > demo importer tab – which demo are you trying to import the widgets of that isn’t working for you?

I don’t want to import a whole demo but only the settings and widgets. Using the file theme-options.txt to import all settings of a specific demo works great. My question is this, can I import widgets.txt in the same way as theme-options.txt to fill demo content in the widgets?

That string can be translated via the salient/lang/nectar_salient_strings.pot file. You can use that to create a .po file with your desired translations

Hey, the pot file should be used to output a file named just “es_ES.po” – if you already have one of those, you can remove it (or rename it) to create a new one based off the .pot strings

Hello, I already have in that folder a file es_ES.pot that is the translation of the Theme, if I put the same name I will write it down. I tried to put the name is_US.pot to this file but the translation does not work, it only works if I leave it as is_ES.pot, but in this case I lose the translation of the other file, please help me.

Hey, The issue I’m having is the hide row on certain screen sizes isn’t working at all? I’ve got the most current Wordpress, Salient theme, JS composer plugin and Ultimate VC addons now and it’s not working :/
So everything else seems to be working okay as far as I can see. But when you have a row and click ‘effect > Hide Row’. It isnt working at all?

However it would be easier to use a font-face loaded icon set rather than using an image or svg as further modifications would need to be made to the styling to allow

Is there a custom code to replace the Logo on the mobile menu?? It looks horrible right now.

You could technically use the retina logo option to have a different logo display for mobile devices, but to separate it from never being shown on retina laptops/monitors it would require custom modding to the header.php file

When the mobile menu is open there is no way to click out of the menu unless you select a page. Is it possible to fix this?

Unfortunately demos created longer than a year ago used premium stock photos which couldn’t be included (so they’re swapped for placeholders). More modern demos use free to use images and can be readily provided: http://themenectar.com/docs/salient/importing-demo-content/
