You could try this code to get the value from summernote editor.

But for Angular, you need to declare the variable $. Put “declare let $:any;” at the top of the component.

Sorry, our support does not cover any issue where Metronic’s is used partially(not in the order that comes with the theme). You can not include Metronoc’s entire css bundle and mix any custom code with it. Metronic’s style.bundle.css is designed to override and customize some Bootstrap components.

If i load the page on mobile width, the mobile menu is ok. But in a desktop view if i resize the window the behavoir is bad. There is a way to fix this issue?

In Metronic 4.5.4 the mobile menu is ok on resize too

Yes, for the new version we used different approach to make the menu more adaptive. However the old v4.x does not have this features and users can notice this only if they purposely resize the browser window to mobile size.

Basically to utilize Metronic in your custom site or application you will need some experience in end to end web development since this theme is not for non-developer users. Metronic is basically an HTML theme(built with HTML, javascript and css) without actual functionality(the database integration and application business model). The actual implementation is responsibility of buyers. Usually any web applications/systems contain of 2 layers:

1) Design and Frontend UI(html, css, javascript)

2) Actual system implementation using a server side language such as PHP or Java, and database engine such as MySQL or Oracle.

So our Metronic theme, as an HTML theme helps you with the step #1. The step #2 will be responsibility of the buyers as every buyer has own requirements and system specification.

You will not need to edit the minified/bundled css/js files directly. Those distribution files are generated by Metronic’s build tools from the source files located under “src” folder. You should get familiar with the latest frontend development approaches(minification, bundling, etc). In order to customize the css and js files you will need to get the latest Metronic version and refer to the documentation to install all required tools for source compilation.

I know all this (minification, bundling) but I not use gulp for bundling I use grunt. My point is you should leave the files as before last version 4 and we developers decide what minification programs to use…

To use v5 you will need to install the required tools and follow the documentation. This is how v5 works and we do not mix the old 4.x build approaches with the new ones. Please give a try and you won’t regret as the new build tools are really powerful comparing to the old one.

You can get the src folder of the latest versoon and replace with your current src folder and merge back your customization code if you have done any. Then you will need to install yarn package manager using “npm install—global yarn” command and install all dependencies using “yarn install”. Please not since 5.0.5 we migrated to yarn and dropped bower since bower is no longer maintained. If you need any further clarifications please let us know.
