Hello, I bought Avada, used it on site for my client. However the same client wants another website, can I use the same Avada I already bought (enering the same purchase code) , or do I need to buy a new license for every site?

Regarding your product licensing, you have to purchase/own a license for each publicly accessible domain install of the theme. Regardless of whether the installation domain is a sub domain or not, if it is publicly accessible, it requires a license.
If you are migrating to a different domain and you already have your product registered with your original purchase code etc, you do not need to purchase a new license; You can simply add your registered purchase information to the new installation’s product registration tab.

Im using header number 5….
I would like the menu background color (lets say blue) to not extend the full width…
but instead i want the menu background color only extend from the far left menu item to the far right menu item….
where the color will only be behind the main menu items and thats it

Is there a way to adjust the space between the content and sidebar area? It is about 40px too wide as it is. I’ve tried the code you posted earlier but reducing the “80px” made no difference at all. Is this addressed on your support site anywhere?

That CSS should definitely work, however please make sure that you are copy pasting this part because sometimes what seems like its a minus sign is not the minus sign.
width: calc(100% - 23% - 80px);

Love the theme… making a great website but need some help with an image being cut off at different screen sizes. I have a 9 image collage at the top of http://egfrcancer.org/who-we-are/ and when you shrink the screen parts of the image are cut off and not visible. Anyway we can have the image showing at 100%? Thanks!

We are glad to hear that you like our theme, regarding your query however that image is actually assigned to the background of your content, That is how the background images are supposed to work actually, they are set to Cover so they will cover the entire area of your content on every resolution, however in this case some minor clipping is bound to happen to keep the aspect ratio of the image true, this is how its always been for our theme or for any background image you use, if you want a true responsive image we suggest you to put it as content in HTML such as using Image Frame element in our theme or any other element, however making this image responsive will require custom CSS with media queries and perhaps a different resolution image on each size.

I have Avada bought on this account, but it’s currently used by a former client.
Now I want to use it for myself, and have the former client buy another license for himself, since I know that licenses can’t be transferred between accounts.
What I wonder is: If the client creates a Themeforest account, buys Avada, and then adds the new license on his current website, will it affect its website in any way? Basically if he just switches a license with another one, will there be any problems? Or the site will continue to look the same, function normally, etc…

There should be no issues at all, he and you can certainly switch license if required and the theme will still work for you as far as its registered with a valid license, however just make sure that only 1 publicly accessible domain is using 1 license and for any additional domain you will require another license.

Hi, I already purchased one license of your awesome theme, now I’m going to buy another one, but I want to know if I can use it in two different domains. Is the same content and project, the difference is that one is english and the other spanish, I know I can use WPML to translate the content, but we need to have the info separated (2 domains, 2 WordPress, 2 avada theme, but same info). We can only provide support and communication in English right now, however i have used Google Translator and the issue you are seeing is definitely related to cache so please try and clear the fusion cache by going to Avada > Theme Options > Advanced > Dynamic CSS & JS
Also please try and check this from an Incognito Mode tab in chrome and also from another browser please.

In the builder options, while building a columnar row, there are options to have borders. I can have any color of border of any thickness in solid or dashed or other options. However the place it seems to be lacking is the fact that I can only select all border or one of the borders (top, bottom, left or right). I cannot for example select top and bottom or right and bottom or something like that. If multiple selection were possible it would be really nice.

Basically that will require some custom CSS work to assign a different border color to each side of the border and that is why we have custom CSS section in each of our element where user can put their own styles wherever they want

I don’t want different colors for different borders. I just want that instead of selecting only between all or one borders, I should be able to select 2 or 3 borders.
The styling or colour or size will be the same for whatever selection I do – basically instead of being able to click on only one button (selection), I should be able to select say left, right and so on.

No, they are from the Blog element when you put them on any page or anywhere, this is for the listing page actually however for the single post you can simply change that from Avada > Theme Options > Blog > Blog Single Post

I can’t believe that fusion builder still puts white text on white background when this was first reported to you guys more than 2 years ago? Here is just one link of the many I found for this problem. Basically with the release of Fusion White Label Branding plugin you can change the background colour using custom CSS inside the branding plugin, however due to the reason that visual editor has to show the visual the text needs to stay white and same can be said for any other color if assigned, you can however change to text editor anytime to change the text and view its original form without colour being applied.
