Hey, I am making a magazine type of website and I am using your viral layout. However on the homepage, I have placed a few blocks for the categories/post listings. The issue is there are a lot of repeat posts because I can’t seem to offset the posts in any blocks.
I don’t want separate categories, is there a way to have blocks offset a certain number of posts like other magazine style themes? Just wondering, would be a great update to do if your next update if possible.
Also a quick addition. How do I set “Pearl icons” (wp bakery builder) to open in a new window (no option to open in new window)

1. You can use only by separating categories on the home page. We will try to improve these features in our coming updates.
2. Unfortunately, there is no such kind of option by default and it needs to customize the module templates to realize your request.

i’ve noticed that there’s a reccurent issue with an emply css file which made the site crash sometimes..it’s the style_1.css file in your assets > css > footer directory… My website was very slow and sometimes show a blank page with the loading animation when trying to refresh my page…i have tried to launch the element inspector whith firefox to understandwhere was the problems and had a warning notification that this file can’t be loaded…perhaps because it’s empty and 0 ko
i ve got another issue whith the custom heading font..even if i select for example alex brush font, the font is not loaded in the front office and even in the theme option…

I haven’t any CHMOD issue, all you theme is perfect except the heading custom font bug… i ve just dowload again your full theme and unzip it on my hard drive…the style_1.css file in assets/css/footer is a blank file…perhaps it’s normal ?
The style_1.css is empty by default and it doesn’t affect your pages. The styles in the ”.../assets/css/footer” folder are for Footer layout.
Regarding the custom headings, please create a ticket with your site credentials and our engineers will kindly assist you.

You can create such kind of page templates by using WPBakery Page builder. Besides that, you can import ready templates on the post editor page. [screenshot]

Thank you for your reply. I am aware of how you can work with templates via a-bakery and the prebuild design you can import. But my problem is that I am setting this site up for a customer, and they get confused using everything else than the standard simple editor. They are about 10 authors with no it skills at all, why they need the simple editor. Therefore it would be nice if I could set up a good looking template that will be used as standard.

Unfortunately, there is no such kind of options in the simple editor. You can also create a ready template for your customer which would be easier for the users. regards

Yes, it is possible. You need to modify the page templates from this directory:
\wp-content\themes\pearl\partials\content\post\single

I have found a lot of other problems.. Photo library is empty, menu drop downs (under settings) are not working ect – not sure if this a theme or wordpress bug, but I have none of these problems on other sites ?

Really liking this theme, but there seems to be no option included for mixing between dark and light skin headers. Most themes I’ve used have the option to switch between either throughout the site. For example I want light menu text on dark transparent header, but I want dark text on white sticky header when you scroll down. I think this is must have feature request for Pearl. Any plans to add for the future?

Great theme! Quick question.
How do I have a wider word based logo on the desktop but an icon only version on the mobile. Currently we can only choose one but it doesn’t look right to us.
We want a big logo on the desktop and a (different) smaller logo on the mobile option.

Holy WOWness!! I just went through some of the insane Pearl Demo$ and just as incredible on mobile view! Curious, how is the mobile phone parallax image in background http://pearl.stylemixthemes.com/startup/ achieved (and so smooth on mobile too!) and that awesome background bubble fixed video, is that editable at all (colors, shapes) and can we also have an option for simple fixed background image as well? Can video play icons size be adjusted smaller? Is it possible to to have fixed mobile menu headers or so the header slides down as soon as viewer scrolls up and can the slide out menu be on the same side as the mobile menu icon? Any chance to have an option to upload mobile menu background image (can you tell I put the mobile menu experience #1? ha #butseriously) Do demo imports come individual or all in one and are images imported or blurred? AMAZING the music demo option with continuous track play through page changes! PLS let me know and hope to be a customer and BIG 5 star rater asap $tylemix!!

1) We are used Canvas for bubbles and bump animation, but unfortunately, there is no option to change bubbles color.
2) Yes you can change icon size via Custom CSS
3) Yes you can easily manage mobile menu in the theme options
4) Unfortunately, our theme doesn’t have an option for mobile header background.
5) Some of the images replaced by placeholder because of licensing.

You can manage mobile header using the Header Builder feature. However, there is no option for modifying the mobile menu.
