About the color question, the theme don’t have new specify color scheme. I have color options only, which allow you customize header/footer/bg/text color.

You can download the theme again with All file & documentation option selected then all shortcode content are in Demo Content folder. To edit the code you have to enable Visual Composer for member post type. Read theme documentation for more details.
