Ah, I thought our site had gone off too after the update. I tried reverting back to 8.6 but the homepage was still blank so having host provider revert back to yesterday. It seems that the update won’t hook to the static page for some reason. When I try to do an update on the page it won’t save. Since so many others are having this issue, I’m assuming the author will be doing a fix.This is the first glitch I’ve ever had with Newspaper after years, so I’m sure they’ll be fixing soon.

Read it to late, after updating my site to 8.7 the homepage is broken, complete white after menu.
For Now, I hope I did the right thing, from yesterdays backup retreived the old 8.6 “wp-content/themes/Newspaper” folder and overwriten the new 8.7 updated “wp-content/themes/Newspaper” folder. After that website home page is visable again. Running old version 8.6 again!
Waiting now for update / repair instructions …

Please check your System Status and make sure you increase all the php directives at least to the recommended values – https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/ Also please deactivate all your plugins except tagdiv composer (make sure you use the latest version 2.0) and see if the issue persist.

Issue found, seems to be WP-Spamshield but I don’t know why. Update: Actualy a multitude of plugins won’t work with the new theme version for no reason at all.

Please update the theme and verify if tagdiv composer is updated too (it should be version 2.0). If it is not please follow these steps – https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/website-not-loading-after-theme-updates-show-blank-page/ Tagdiv composer shout update automatically, but maybe you get an error and it is not doing autoupdate, so please try to update it manually.

That filter option is available on category template and the reader can sort the posts like he wish on the site. I’m not sure what you mean with the sort order, so please provide more details.

The problem is with TD Composer, i follow all the steps and the problem persist, for now my only solution is change the theme, upload my notes and put newspaper theme back, because i cant access to my dashboard with newspaper theme activated

Did you update the theme plugins as well? Please update the theme plugins, the tagDiv composer and multi-purpose plugins are now version 2.0. Deactivate and remove them and install again form the latest theme package. Check the results after doing this.

Thanks for the recent update with the AMP plugin, we implemented this on a site but none of the images or logos are appearing, any reason why?

The new AMP plugin is tested and it should work properly. Please try as a test to deactivate all other plugins, leave only theme plugins active. Clear all caching after doing this. Check if the AMP pages are displayed as intended

After installing the plugin, the newsletter element will be available in the tagDiv composer list of elements. It can be placed on pages through the tagDiv composer. It is not available as a widget.

The link that you sent explains AMP and it’s settings. But wouldn’t it be good to see how your theme and site looks in AMP ?. After all in demo version you should show all that your theme has. I mean why AMP is not installed on your site ?. Any specific reason ?.
As I mentioned above the live demo will be updated as soon as possible, sorry for this inconvenience. Please try to understand that this takes time. You can view the AMP version of the post pages on your website. Install and activate the plugin, test as shown in the guide (add /amp after the URL of a post page).
New version of TD Composer is killing my website – Tychy24.net. Can u fix it? My site is working only because i deleted it and now im using old version of the plugin. However all content made with Multi Purpose is not working now.

I just wanted to know what would be the best way to filter the query of the td_block_big_grid_12 to only display posts with thumbnail images. I was thinking about using the meta_query argument of the query so that I can filter by the _thumbnail_id key… Could you help me with this?

Hi,
The blocks and grids will display posts according to the filtering and sorting used, not by thumbnail. All the posts should have featured images, thus they will have thumbnails. If there is no thumbnail a placeholder will be displayed automatically. The thumbnails will be created automatically once an image is set.
That would be the intended functionality of the theme blocks and grids.
