I have a huge issue… I am trying to integrate Chargebee’s API with one of the menu items….
I already installed the header script provided by them into the header… Here it is….

Now I need to find a way to integrate the button code into one of the menu-items.
The code I was provided with is:

So… what I tried so far was to find the menu-item # through Right Click—> Inspect, and I found that it is menu-item-5839
Now, I have absolutely no clue how to get this to work…
Also, in the Appearance—> Menu section, it won’t let me have the menu item set to nothing.. so I just put # in there for the time being.
Please help! This is urgent.

In your comment above there is no code showing, only the text “login”. If you do indeed have custom code to add, this would require adding it into the header.php file where the menu gets called as a custom menu item

How do I get all blog articles that are posts to show up under the /blog/ slug? Right now all the blog posts are displaying as regular pages with no parent. My settings to the theme under Setting >> Permalinks > is set to Post Name

If you had the option on “Move Dynamic/Custom CSS Into External Stylesheet?” it would have been written to the css/dynamic-combined.css file. If not, it would be stored directly in the database along with the rest of the theme options

Hey Linkinspy, as of now changing the client carousel rotation timing would require a mod to the init.js file located in the js folder. However, if you used a carousel element with the “Owl Carousel” script and added image elements to each carousel column you could control the auto rotation timing
Hello, i use this theme. But beginning of website (home page), after 1 or 2 second spam advertising showing up? Do you know why? Just installed your themes plugins, and wordpress is upgraded. And all files and website is new and fresh. advertising coming with full view on browser, its online bets or another advertising.. Please help. I can’t see that occurring when accessing your URL on my end via desktop or mobile currently. Salient has no known security issues that could allow for such a thing, have you checked with your hosting company if they’re aware of any server malware attacks?

After some weird reaction from theme on updated WordPress. I’ve reverted back to second last version of WP with latest version of Salient theme but still some options in theme options just don’t appear. for eg. Header BG Opacity and Typography whole page gives me no option to change font family. The drop down is not there.. completely empty field..
I disabled all plugins to check as well just incase..

the problem I have is that the padding style is overridden by skin-material.css which loads after my child style.css with and !important tag so there’s no way of overriding this without adding the css to my dashboard. Ideally I want to keep all of my css in one place – my child stylesheet. how do I ensure any changes I make in my child stylesheet aren’t overridden by subsequent .css files – can I force my child styles to load last and take priority?I even tried to copy skin-material.css to my child theme css folder, but it only loads the parent thanks!

Hi, I have a sudden problem with a black, black square image on my blog posts.
The black featured image / portfolio image placeholder is shown with 1000×1000 px on all posts. The HTML shows the following: <img src="https://URL/wp-content/themes/salient/img/no-portfolio-item-tiny.jpg" alt="no image added yet." />. It appears appears in all posts when no featured image is added – but if I add it, it disappears. This is as defined in my blog settings of salient, which are checked to hide the feature image on single blog entries.

Which typography setting is associated with the menu-item element, i.e. the font associated with hamburger menu?

Hello, I can’t make WP Quiz plugin (https://ro.wordpress.org/plugins/wp-quiz/) work with Salient theme. I’ve see that other people had already some issues with your theme and this plugin, can you advise how to fix the issues?
The problem is, that I can’t make the quiz show on multiple pages, after I complete the first question and press continue, nothing happens. Also, the Quiz doesn’t show the final results. Ive tried to switch off salient, and with standard themes your plugin works fine. Can you help please?

When “Minimal” form styling is selected in Salient, Stripe credit card fields are becoming unusable (jumbled up text, double fields) during checkout on initial load. When a different state is selected in billing info, fields are refreshed and look better. Is it possible to disable minimal styling for just the Stripe fields, or somehow work around this issue? This issue started after Stripe Gateway v4. Salient 8.5.4; WooCommerce 3.3.3; WooCommerce Stripe Gateway 4.0.6.

- Add an item to the cart and check out
- On the checkout page, take a look at the credit card fields for Stripe
This is a vanilla installation with Salient and WooCommerce only, no other plugins. I am able to reproduce this issue by performing a clean Wordpress install, adding Salient and WooCommerce and choosing “Minimal” form styling.

That would be great, thanks. I switched on the “Inline Credit Card Form” option in Stripe as the inline form is affected as well—the “Credit or debit card” label is floating way above the textbox. Please feel free to check it out if you would like to address both of them in the update.
Also, as a feature request—I think it would be great to have the option to influence where the “minimal” styling is applied. For instance, the options could be “apply to Contact Form 7”, “apply to WooCommerce”, “apply to all other forms” as checkboxes. I find that the minimal styling is very sleek, but it often interferes with third-party lead capture forms. It would be nice to be able to turn it on for Contact 7 and Woo, but not for other forms.

I remember there was a Visual Builder in the theme, what happened with that? Now I can’t find it in the older version of theme in my site and if I update to the recent version I can’t see it either but the Salient Visual Builder is active in both versions.
Any hint or did you removed it?
Hey jdiaz1302, Salient still offers a page builder, which is included as a plugin “Salient Visual Composer”. Do you have that installed on your setup? If so, please verify that no third party plugins you may have active are not causing the problem
Ok, found the issue, it’s jetpack, when it’s enabled the visual builder stops working on backend and frontend.
