More than a year by using the theme Flatsome. And I have to say, this is the best theme for WooCommerce and not only.

Thank you so much :)

Your theme works fine for windows and android but for iPhones and mac is a total disaster. It seems that you don’t even test for iPhones and Mac. Even the “No CAPTCHA reCAPTCHA” that you recommend and claim that is compatible with your theme is not allowing registrations and logins in iphones. Also your new infinite scroll is not showing the images in the new loaded products in iphones and showing empty species in other languages with WPML where you claim that your theme is also compatible with. Your main issue is compatibility with iphones and mac and not testing your theme before updating with them. -1 point!

I’ve found an issue with the themes focused cart layout which I wanted to let you know about. When you are returned to the thank you page after completing a purchase the cart clear script is not run. I’ve tested on multiple browsers and the same behavior exists. When switching to the normal default cart layout the cart clears fine. I suspect the cart clearing function is not being called as it’s not included in the minimised header of something used on the focused cart layout.

Hi there,

I’ve tested the issue and it seems to be working well over here.. Please ensure that you are running the latest Flatsome (Version 3.5.2) and WooCommerce (Version 3.3.3)

Thank you page scripts are placed in the body and not the head tag, which is causing issues. How can I fix this?

Hi there,

To fix this issue you will need to overwrite the thankyou.php template file.

How? The thankyou.php does not have all the header information to help me move anything.

Hello,

First I want to indicate what a great Theme very fast and simple!

it is possible in ”instagram feed” load more then 10/12 photo. for example 30?

So yes, which files I need to modified?

Thank you

Hi there,

I’m afraid the maximum default number is 12. If you wish to have more images displayed, you will need to edit the instagram.php shortcode file in flatsome/inc/shortcodes

Hi, You mean the ux_instagram_feed.php file? I changed to 30 but nothing changed just showed 12 images. Is there other possibilities?

Hello, I would like to know, if Flatsome | Multi-Purpose Responsive WooCommerce Theme has lifetime license or time limited license? Brgds, David

Hi David,

Flatsome license is a lifetime license.

Hi guys, there’s still outdated WooCommerce template at flatsome/woocommerce/loop/orderby.php.

Also, do you ever plan to fix WooCommerce ‘Store Notice’ and make it actually work? ;-)

Hi there,

The outdated template file will be resolved in the next update.

You can place a feature request for the WooCommerce Store Notice fix here https://uxthemes.canny.io/flatsome

Hi,

after splitting my website to “www” and “static” subdomain, using static as cookieless subdomain serving images, css, js from there (speed optimization), everything works fine except Font Awesome icons are not loaded at all, having “Access-Controll-Allow-Origin” header error.

I use https on both subdomain, having 2 different, free Let’s Encrypt certificates.

I think Flatsome should allow such a setting…

Thanks

Is there a possibility to simply add a Synced Slider without writing any code?

Some banner images were disappeared in UX Builder after 3.5.2 update, although the corresponding webpage has those images. Even in UX Builder, I can see such images when I opened the bannner settings. But I cannot see those images in UX Builder window. AAny help please?

Hi there,

Please shoot an email via support and we’ll look into this.

Hi, can you help me? My support expired but I am desperate! I am not a programmer and a friend helped me build my website with Flatsome so I couldn’t find an answer myself. But some days agora a custormer came to me and said “your website is not connecting, it opens a pink bar (which is my website) and then goes blank on mobile and say it can’t be connected”.

On desktop it used to open in 7-9 sec (I know it’s slow but was my best), now starting from 3 days ago I noticed on Gtmetrix it takes 33-50sec to open… So I guess on mobile it’s something like a “timeout” that disconnects the website…

When I enter the website the slider-banner, menu and all shotcodes seems to take a while to load. But when the slider-banner loads, all the rest loads quicky and I can see the short-code banners, the dropdown starts working, and cart also drops. But takes a while (33-50sec) for the slider-banner to load and then all the rest… Can you help me?

Thanks!!

Hi there,

Sounds like you are using an outdated version of Flatsome. Could you try updating your theme, Plugins and Wordpress and see if the issue persists https://docs.uxthemes.com/article/77-how-do-i-update-the-theme

Hi, am using the latest version (no uptade badge/button to click). I found out Super Cache was causing the 33-50sec loading, but still am having problems with loading but I think it might be some plugin since the theme is updated. But I will try to reinstall too to see if loading problems disapear (some customers are not being able to connect to website for some reason). Thanks!!

Try increase memory limit etc of WordPress

why nextend social login is not working my account page??? before it was working. i didnt change nothing and the plugins new version is not working i use child theme

Hi there,

I have seen that other users reportes problem with WooCommerce Stripe Gateway. When I activate plugin the product page gallery and other functions in page break. Do you know if other users could solve this? Thank you very much

Hi Carlos,

Please shoot an email via support and we’ll look into the issue.

Replied via support. Thanks

Hi, I can’t find order id after order complete. any help?

Hi there,

The order id is the number before the customer name in WooCommerce > Orders Eg. # 123 Your Name

Hi, I suddenly got my products images disappeared from category view. any help?

Hi there,

Please uncheck EQUAL IMAGE HEIGHTS in Theme Options > Shop > Product Catalog. The issue will be resolved in the forthcoming update.

Hi is there a bug with the latest version? When trying to select a SVG logo in the admin menu (For the main site logo) it just throws a lot of errors in console. Other image formats work fine. Was able to replicate the bug on multiple sites.

Hi there,

Sometimes, WordPress blocks uploading SVG files mainly due to security reasons. Kindly install this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/safe-svg/ and check if you are still having issues.

Please help how do I make my product text as hyperlinks. It seems that the only clickable links are the images on the category pages

Hi there,

I’m afraid we do not have a setting for this. You will need a bit of customization.

Can I only have more than one line description for each product on a category page in grid layout?

Can I have a 2 Colum product grid layout on each category page?

Hi; When we put our cursor in front of picture of product, it displays only Add to Wishlist and Quick View. Can it display Add to Cart? Thanks

Hi there,

You can find a setting for this in Theme Options > Shop > Product Catalog > Product Box > Add To Cart Button

Hi there back again but random “broken featured images/Gallery thumbnails” since last WC 3.3.1, 3.3.2, 3.3.3 updates.

Summary of settings:

- I use a Flatsome child theme from the first day I installed the theme on a fresh WP/WC install which I generated with Flatsome Setup Wizard.

- WC Customizer image option: square cropped 1:1 ratio, 510px for Product images, 247px for Gallery images, followed the method in your guide “perfect product image”.

- Flatsome gallery image width setting: 6/12 (50%) – WC 3 or Flatsome lightbox gave the same problem too.

- I don’t use “Equal image height” setting.

- I don’t use any cache, minification, deferring .js plugins since I’m finalizing development now. I do hard browser cache on each change I do, naturally.

- I did what you recommend:

- Deactivate all plugins except Woocommerce and Flatsome. Same problem after trying regenerating thumbnails with Regenerate Thumbnails, Force Regenerate Thumbnails; Woocommerce new background thumbnails regeneration. No luck.

- Reinstalled manually via FTP Woocommerce and Flatsome 2 times between last couple updates. No luck. Redid it “kinda works” (read below).

- Switched themed to Storefront, Twenty Theme. No problem, I could regenerate thumbnail ONLY with Regenerate Thumbnails plugin by Viper. It only worked today after the 3rd attempt and one month going bananas not figuring out what happened.

Here’s below the detail of the last testings I did:

Apparently, there are issues with child theme generated with Flatsome Setup Wizard. Since the beginning, I use a child theme and had not a single problem before these dirty WC 3.3.1 updates. After the update, many thumbnails were broke on many product pages, randomly. The first reflex I had was using Regenerate Thumbnail plugin (the one bundled with your theme), it stops suddenly and I couldn’t regenerate any picture, had a “Rest API problem/AJAX issues” error both on main Flatsome theme before the update and on child theme AFTER the update. I also let Woocommerce new regenerate thumbnail option do the work in the background… Same thing, same broken thumbnails. Then I used Force Regenerate Thumbnail plugin (as advised here), all images were generated with apparently 0 error, but when I did hard refresh back on these specific pages, thumbnails were still broken, even creating new broken thumbnails! Then I switched back Flatsome theme to Storefron and I could regenerate thumbnails… So i switched back to Flatsome main theme, same problem again. So the culprit is woocommerce uh? WAIT. Then I did what your support said: reinstall a clean Flatsome & WC via FTP after erasing both folders. I switched back to main Flatsome theme, not my child theme, I was also able to regenerate thumbnails… Hurray! Then switched back to my child theme again and… same problem… again! Also when I opened the customizer I had a new error message up in the header when WC customizer opened: “Warning: sprintf(): Too few arguments in /home/xxxhostingxxx/public_html/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/includes/customizer/class-wc-shop-customizer.php on line 453”. So my Child theme the is culprit? MAYBE, BUT WAIT AGAIN. Then I wondered, hey, let’s create another new child theme with Flatsome Setup Wizard so it should work, isn’t it right? So I created a new child theme. Exact same problem again… still same error showing up “Warning: sprintf(): Too few arguments in /home/xxxhostingxxx/public_html/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/includes/customizer/class-wc-shop-customizer.php on line 453”.

Finally, I managed to regenerate clean thumbnails using Force Regenerate thumbnails to delete all bad thumbnails, then using Regenerate Thumbnail from Viperbond from Main Flatsome theme, not my child theme. Then switching back to my child theme again with the correct thumbnails generated.

So at the moment, my thumbnail issue is “kind of fixed”, but not definitely because I won’t do all the above each time I upload a new product or image, spend more credits to recompress images after uncovered broken thumbnail on + 700 product range, lose time, money, patience (aren’t we the users since WC 3.3.1 ?) all going backwards again after 4 months of hard work, upsetting my hosting company who did great job support-wise,... Just going really crazy, literally. And I’m not the kind of person blaming everybody around like that. I am the patient type, really, calm resolving all the current “acceptable” issues any Wordpress users face on a daily basis, that’s the game – no problem.

But you see here, there is a problem also with Flatsome too. Not only Woocommerce. I spent the last 3 week tearing my hairs out. I’m a slow, meticulous analytical person. Like some kind of perfection freak who follows all the best practices etc… So if I made a mistake somewhere after 6 months of happy use, please show it to me, I gave you all the details, here and on your private support channel. Honestly, when I said I never had so much pain after an update, I mean it. Wordpress is a wonderful platform, Woocommerce too and your theme is shiny, ok great. But when there’s money involved, license costs, and so many delays in the development process because of miscommunication between WC developers, and other theme and plugin developer like you, I almost think about paying an ugly and costly Shopify theme and actually earn some real money at the moment… In both cases, we the users pay for a service, we should have a real customer, a real support service from the number one +66K download numero uno WC theme. So yes, I say it again, please address this issue, communicate, improve your customer support. I bought many plugins and theme. Your support is not on point. And really since last WC 3.3.1, it’s a whole mess. I’m sorry to speak like that, I don’t say you don’t work hard too, but from a customer point of view, it’s not their problem.

ok i get it for the error code, because i blocked WC background regenerate thumbnail with: add_filter( ‘woocommerce_background_image_regeneration’, ‘__return_false’ ); add_filter( ‘woocommerce_resize_images’, ‘__return_false’ ); Hope never have my site broke again like this. Thank you for your poor support.

Hi there, to be honest, this has not been a Flatsome problem. Flatsome is just a theme for WooCommerce. We use default WooCommerce functionality for the images. Those functions you used to fix this is WooCommerce fixes. Not Flatsome fixes, so stop blaming Flatsome for this.

WooCommerce messed up product images, not Flatsome.

Yes, you are paying for a theme service, but you’re not paying us to be your WooCommerce developer consultant.

your Consultant? Are you kidding? Have I asked you a special functionality or how to do something other than basic stuff? Your support sucks and it doesn’t matter how great your theme is. Period. I handled myself an IT customer service. Improve yours. And I won’t argue over it. Case closed. Problem Solved. You suck.
