Is the standard when the rating is registered as ip? Or what?

I’m not sure what you mean, but with regards to how ratings are stored:
- For a logged in user, when they rate an item this is stored in the database so they can’t vote again.
- For visitors who can vote, this is stored as a browser cookie, so clearing their cookies allows them to vote again. There is no IP blocking. Really if people wanted to vote again by clearing their cookies, they can just as easily mask their IP.

I’ve installed the latest Gauge version, maybe WP Bakery was in a previous release that I missed?>
Version 5.4.5 of the WPBakery Page Builder plugin comes with Gauge. If you’re looking for a later version you will need to wait until a theme update it released which will include this plugin update.

The latest version does come with Gauge updates, but the latest version of the plugin was released after the most recent Gauge update.

can anybody explain to me where is the main menu gone??? I upgraded to 6.34-2 , now the main menu is gone. That is the Gauge main primary menu ,it isn’t displayed anymore after ugprade.
hmm weird, it shows up correctly on Edge but NOT on Chrome. Updated chrome to latest, so is gauge.

hey! i really love your template, but its a bit to huge/complicated on some points for me.
mybe you can quickly help me. im creating a affiliate site for online casinos. (ii changed “hub” to casinos)
1. instead of “xbox, playstation, ... ” i added the type of bonus, like 100% up to 50%. when i click on that linked “tag” i get a 404 page. same for “providers” i added in the section on a page: http://bonusjungle.com/lucky-dino/
2. where do i change the content of the header on the homepage? instead of news want to show (random) casino pages.
3. where can i edit the hub sidebar? http://prntscr.com/imidns its not listed under the sidebar section. i couldnt get a new sidebar with the the raking running neither.
4. the menu ist bugging for me. sometimes its below the logo… most of the time its all good. http://prntscr.com/imieke

This is a feature highly missed in Gauge! Any plans to add this? Or at least as a widget? That would be awesome!

Hello. Will Gauge be comparable with the Gutenburg Editor coming with WordPress 5? Automatic are warning that Gutenburg (replacing TinyMCE) has the ability to break sites if Themes and Plugins are not ready/compatible. Thanks

Yes Gauge will be fully compatible with WordPress 5 and the Gutenburg Editor . Gauge does not rely on any TinyMCE elements so it shouldn’t have any problems anyway.
I got an email on Jan 24th saying that there is an update. A day later, on Jan 25th, there is another update. But when going to the changelog, i only see one from Jan 24th??

There is serious issue with the ads, doesn’t open in all hub pages when probably I have a page in more than one category and I have check the pages witch doesn’t open the ads in http pages open normal in https and these ads witch don’t open in https pages open normal in http , please see it , it’s a general issue , it’s not personal for me.

We’re going to use this theme to setup a rate/review website for 1 type of food product.
1. Can we require visitors to log in in order to review/rate? We don’t want people who haven’t registered to rate/review.
2. Are new reviews/ratings from registered users automatically displayed on the site? Or can the Administrator have the ability to accept or decline reviews/ratings?
3. Do registered users have the ability to enter in new information for a new product?
Using your demo site as an example, we’re going to have a food product instead of games, and instead of the game developer, we’re going to have the food manufacturer.
Can registered users enter in new food manufacturers and food products? If yes, does the Administrator have the ability to approve or delete those new products/manufacturers?
4. When a visitor registers on the site, what can they add to their profile page? Is there a public profile page for registered users?

1) Yes.
2) User ratings are automatically added. If a user submits a written review these can be approved by an admin before their shown in the site. Please note user review scores are not added to the average user rating.
3) No. Users can only create reviews from the frontend for existing products (hubs/reviews) already created by the admin/editors.
4) Yes. If you use the BuddyPress plugin you can add your own profile fields for the user which they can fill out from the frontend.

As I mentioned before, we’re going to use this theme for a website where people can rate/review one type of food product, instead of games.
Once a visitor searches for a food product, they will see search results.
I see the search results can be filtered by several different criteria, newest, oldest, title, etc.
We want the ability for the visitor to filter by location….so if they filter by location they will see products that are closest to them, geographically speaking.
Does the theme currently allow for this type of filter?
If not, can you recommend a plugin to allow for this particular filter?
I understand there will need to be some type of geo-locator attribute set for each food product, and for the registered user, so the search results can filter by location, providing results that are filtered with the closest location to that user.
The theme does not have a geolocation filter. I’m not familiar with any geolocation plugins, but doing a quick Google came up with this https://wordpress.org/plugins/geo-my-wp/ It should work with the theme but to integrate it into the theme’s filter system would require customisation.

there seems to be a bug with the filter options in the Ranking Settings. If I want to display only specific hubs e.g. with “genre:action:role-playing” that doesn’t work. It only works with one tag, e.g. “genre:action”.

FYI – when I updated to 6.34 from 6.33 my website disappeared and all that was left was a blank page with message on the screen stating that there was an error on line 89 of this file ->
..../public_html/..../themes/guage/lib/inc/follow-items.php (line 89)
I lost all access to the website and it would not show up in any browser. Eventually I had to log on to cPanel and replace follow-items.php file with an older version from Oct 2017 (v.6.33). Then it worked again.

Replace with:
if ( ! is_array( ghostpool_get_user_meta() ) ) {

Also, not sure if it’s related, but it does not seem that the option to update any of the plugins (Guage, WPBakery, Sidebar, Rudux) is available anywhere.
I know I can update each manually, but just saying the option is not showing up in the dashboard….
Nevermind….. unactivated and reactivated the theme, now the updates appear. Thank!
