You do not need to activate/register any plugins with code or key. Just go to Plugins and make sure all plugins are activated for use. We will update plugins via each theme update.

2. About header builder: Does it have option to place widget area in header or to insert custom shortcode in header? (your tutorial video is too fast and it’s difficult to see possible header elements from drop down menu)

I love the lawyer theme, exactly what I needed but I’m struggling to turn it into a light theme, it’s a bit dark for me. Would be nice to see an option to switch between dark and light mode.

Unfortunately its not possible currently, Because some parts of theme are dynamic and you should change settings manually.

By changing background color from Theme Options > General Styles > Body and changing slider background color, you almost can change colors lighter.

White screen after installing or activating theme is not theme related issue at this time because we and envato reviewers has been tested theme before approving it.
You need to upgrade your server PHP to 7 as WordPress recommended PHP 7.2 here: https://wordpress.org/about/requirements/
Also increase your PHP memory limit to 128M
Then try to activate theme, if you still seeing white screen then we should fix issue if exists else if we couldn’t then we will refund your money for sure.

PHP 7 is much better than older version, because performance and speed. But in PHP 5.6 also we tested and theme works.

When trying to install the needed plugins, the site endlessly installs and never finishes. Is there any known reason for this? Also how do I choose one of the pre-made themes that came with this purchase?

Definitly you made a nice theme. However, had couple of OUT-OF-MEMORY issues, hence I installed a DEBRUG plugin to check out. I found that Codevz Plus seriously need more optimization to make it efficient.
On default WP installation, after activating following plugins: 1. Contact Form 7, 2. Slider Revolution, 3. WPBakery Page Builder 4. Debug Bar Total memory usage for home page was (with no content yet) ~35MB. However, as soon as I activated Codevz Plus, it doubled to around ~70MB . I thought I should inform you so that you can work on to make it even better because its taking more memory than 3 major plugins combined.

MEMORY IN PHP 7 --------------- XTRA + CF7 + RevSlider + WPBakery => 44M in admin XTRA + CF7 + RevSlider + WPBakery => 39M in home XTRA + CodevzPlus + CF7 + WPBakery => 50M in admin XTRA + CodevzPlus + CF7 + WPBakery => 46M in home XTRA + CodevzPlus + CF7 + RevSlider + WPBakery => 58M in admin XTRA + CodevzPlus + CF7 + RevSlider + WPBakery => 53M in home MEMORY IN PHP 5.6 ----------------- XTRA + CF7 + RevSlider + WPBakery => 52M in admin XTRA + CF7 + RevSlider + WPBakery => 47M in home XTRA + CodevzPlus + CF7 + WPBakery => 64M in admin XTRA + CodevzPlus + CF7 + WPBakery => 59M in home XTRA + CodevzPlus + CF7 + RevSlider + WPBakery => 74M in admin XTRA + CodevzPlus + CF7 + RevSlider + WPBakery => 68M in home
It seems PHP 7 is much better, You know WordPress recommended all users to use PHP 7.2 due to better performance. Also 128M PHP memory is good for using our themes.
PS. After you reported, I added improving performance of plugin to our update list and each update we will improve it 
PS 2. We will also check other theme PHP memory usage and will compare them with our product.

I didn’t intend to find any fault in Theme, but just that if you can optimize it further then would be better. I hope, you will keep making it efficient with every update.

How do I disable the header?
I think you have missed the Info list item element (ex: like in this link). If you add that feature in the future, I think your theme could be the most complete feature pack theme I have ever used.

We will add options for headers on specific page like home in the our next update. Currently its not possible by options. But you can use this code, add it to Theme Options > Additional CSS:

Its not possible currently, Because we thought almost 90% of websites wants a same header or footer for all pages, Sometimes it may you want to disable header or footer that its possible via page settings, but for customizing its not possible.
We have this in update list and need more time to think about it, currently our important plan is improving performance better than now.
What is the CSS Code ( .home .header_1, .home .header_2, .home .header_3 { background: none !important } ) if weren’t to change the header image on the other pages? I imported the Gym demo with XTRA, but I don’t want to use those images for the header, I wanted to replace the imported images with my own.
The background header on the pages, not the menu header, or top and bottom of the menu header, the image background behind those elements is what I want to change. Thank you!
If you want to change image for all default pages, go to Theme Options > Title & Breadcrumbs > Container style kit
If you want to have different images for specific pages, edit that page and via page settings, change Title Type to Title and Breadcrumbs then change next select to Title & Breadcrumbs ( Left & Right )
Now you can see Container style kit and you can add new background.
