You’ve probably answered this question over a thousand times (literally), but I’m trying to find the dummy content for the e-commerce demo. I’ve imported the demo, itself, but I can’t find the images.
I’ve looked in the salient options panel and haven’t been able to find a setting.

I have a photo website – along with somewhat limited technical knowledge. I am using the Envira Gallery Plugin. On a few new pages that I put these embedded galleries, I am getting a 403 error where I am using the Nectar Social (round) buttons. For example, here is a copy of the 403 error URL shows a dot (.) in front of the http URL: .http://enlightphoto.com/hawaii-photos-pictures-hawaiian-islands.

If this is a super-easy five-second admin panel fix, that’d be great if someone might just be able to let me know where/ what it might be: I can’t find where any changeable settings that might fix the 403 URL error for those buttons are located.

If it’s any kind of more significant Behind-the-Magic-Curtain fix, I have no problem extending support/update if that’s what needed.
I.E. “Yeah, that’s an update/coding/Support issue to fix.”
(*Because if it goes anywhere beyond the (A/B) solution, it’s probably beyond my ability to correct, anyway.)

The social sharing element does not set a URL by default for any of the buttons, the click event that opens the popup gets handled via javascript. If you check the nectar/tinymce/shortcode-processing.php file at the “nectar_social_buttons” function, you’ll see:
href='#'set on all of the buttons – so something weird must be at play that would require further investigating

Thank you so much for my reply. I’m afraid that went partly over my head; I get the functionality href=”#” aspect, but I don’t even know where on the admin panel to look at the php file – or where to find anything about the Nectar_Social_buttons function. All I could find was the “rounded button’ option in the General Appearance panel. 
The sharing buttons do work (functionally) – but they also generate the 403 “access denied” error on my Google Search Panel. I don’t know if a simple addition to a robots.txt file would work (as per Google)—not that I’d know what to type into that file, either.
- or ...if I upgrade for support here (which I’m also happy to do)—would that support include digging under the hood of my site (admin access w/ hands-on fix) – or merely posting suggested fixes that I’d need to pass along to another 3rd party (aka freelancer/web guru) to actually implement the recommended fix? I’m hoping it might be the former vs. the latter.

Forgive me for also asking another ‘obvious’ question; if it turns out this was an issue related to an upgrade of the theme, do I have to buy a whole new license to get the theme updates, or would that be included in the Support renewal?
I was looking for a big button that says “Upgrade” but I may well be missing what’s right in front of me… but alas, I don’t see an Upgrade option. Thanks again, – Gary

I also just tested the Envira gallery locally on a project with the nectar social element on the same page and could not replicate this. Because of this, I would first recommend updating your version of Salient

To do this would require a mod – copy the “nectar_slider_display” function from the functions.php into a child theme functions.php and make the change

Hey guys, I’m having some difficulties with navigation menu on mobile. I’ve got a main navigation menu with anchors to different sections of the home page. It works great on desktop version but it’s not working at all on mobile. Menu items do not navigate to the corresponding row and in some mobile devices items render underlined. 1. Anchor links can’t work with the Material skin ”Slide out from right” off canvas menu style – if you need to use them from an off canvas menu and would like to keep the Material skin active, you’ll need to switch the off canvas menu style to one of the others available in the Salient options panel > header navigation > off canvas navigation tab
2. It would require custom css as of now to remove certain links out of the mobile menu

I’m seeing errors originating from the plugin you have active “plugins/swiftype-search” relating to the cloudflare cdn you have active. Can you try temp disabling both of those to check?

I installed the swiftype-search plugin to see if I could solve the problem. I uninstalled it immediately afterwards. I have also already tried to disable w3 total cache and cloudflare but the problem remains. Cheers.

it looks like the rocketscript feature you have on could be causing it as well, the javascript that formats the search results and displays then is not getting called – however if you unhide the results the css you’ll see them:

the Nectar Slider will supply images with https if using SSL, but if you check the browser console you’ll see there’s a error being reported of:
“net::ERR_CERT_COMMON_NAME_INVALID” for the certificate when calling the images
In portfolio, when I put an external link in “external project URL” it opens in a blank page. But when I put some file from my media library like a pdf, it opens in the same page. I want the portfolio URL allways opens in a blank page. How can I do it? Thanks

As of now that target only gets applied when the link is external from your current domain – if you provide the images hosted anywhere else it would work without custom development

it is built into the theme, so I don’t know. My client seems to be using a very old version of a salient child theme. when i attempt updating the theme, the styling messes up and I am trying to avoid this

the page builder was separated into a plugin many years ago – there’s no way to have that old version work with a current WP setup. You would likely either need to downgrade the WP version or proceed with updating the theme/page builder

I’m not sure of the exact WP version that would provide compatibility with that old of a setup, however something around 4.2 would be a good place to start There’s a plugin out there for it, but I would reccomend going the other route of updating the theme instead: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-downgrade/#installation

Well.. now that you guys updated to Salient WPBakery Page Builder I just found an issue.
If you work or edit using plain text, and then try to check how it looks clicking the Page Builder button everything looks fine, but if you dare to edit something in builder mode and then return to work on text only mode.
Every line, including vc code is surrounded by a paragraph code.
Hope you can take a look at this, in the meantime I will try to revert to the older build.

Testing with the Salient WPBakery plugin vs the raw plugin I can’t get any different behavior to occur regarding wrapping paragraphs – are you seeing the p tag render on the front or alter the formatting?

If I format something and save using the composer, then return back to only text, the p tag appears.

Thanks cece101! If you’re using the “Header Sticky On Mobile” option, you can adjust the typography via the Salient options panel > typography tab at the “Off Canvas Navigation” field.

Can I order my posts to show most recent vs. first ever? I have transferred hundreds and it is showing the posts from 2005 first.

By default posts should display from newest to oldest – are you using a blog element within the Salient page builder? If so, edit the element and change the “order” to “descending”.

Good Afternoon. I would like to not display the logo before scrolling. I isolated the logo by targeting the “outer” header but it affects the logo after as well. What code should I use to not display the logo only before scrolling? I still want to display the header (navigation and social media icons)
