Hi sir my site cannot show twitter card on twitter. I have tried seo and open graph plugin but all I get is a timeout in twitter validator.
When I copy the code from the page source onto a fresh php file and pass the url into the twitter validator, it validates it accurately with large image. It seems something is stopping the twitter crawler from reaching the post meta tags.
I always get request timeout from twitter

Hello Bogdan, I have deeply investigated this issue of Twitter and Facebook cards since last week often without sleep. Here is what I discovered by accident.
1. Installing any Newspaper demo will break my site visibility to Twitter card validator
2. If I just install Newspaper theme + Open Graph Plugin or Yoast without installing any demo Twitter Card Validator will successfully validate my post or articles.
2a. Now, I noticed that Header Style 1 and Style 8 will allow Twitter Card Validator to validate my posts accurately but on selecting Header Style 5 and 6 and 7 will break the Twitter validator with a Timeout error.
3. I had to manually start creating the pages and menu etc.
4. I noticed that JS Composer didn’t work very well with this latest version of your theme.
5. I am tempted strongly to conclude that the current theme, Newspaper 8.7.2 might have bugs.
6. I don’t know if this is my server’s settings and I have quarelled with my Web host and have threatened them with a lawsuit bcos of this twitter card issue.
7. But after long argument with them on Friday, I got no reply from them sensing they have gone on eastet holiday, I had to deeply research this mystery.
8. Please do investigate. This is my site for now. I don’t want to start setting it up manually again. But the Twitter validation always timeout and the Facebook or Google social cards don’t work well always.
Please use this little information to investigate. The Newspaper theme might have bugs.

Hello, I want to ask about newspaper theme.
1. Whenever I am on my site in mobile device, when I click the mobile menu button, my site will revert back to the top and load the menu. How to change this? I want to stop the mobile menu back to the top of page when I click the mobile menu button.
2. Jetpack is not compatible with newspaper theme, when the plugin is active, I can’t upload image, I get http error when upload image, but when I deactivated the jetpack plugin, I can upload image again, can you help me to resolve this problem?

1. Sorry but this is the default implementation for the mobile menu and it cannot be changed. There is no setting to alter this functionality. Sorry for the inconvenience.
2. Please increase tour system status parameters like so: https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/ to ensure proper memory allocation. If the issue is still there, you can check a few jetpack settings as it is most likely a setting from the plugin causing this, not the plugin as a whole.

Hello, Please I’m having some issues with Newspaper 8. which I bought yesterday, I uploaded it via Cpanel and am seeing some errors, like broken Themes:
Broken Themes The following themes are installed but incomplete.
Name Description Newspaper Template is missing. Standalone themes need to have a index.php template file. Child themes need to have a Template header in the style.css stylesheet.

Right now you have a js error that affects the site and the scroll to top button is not showing up, your images are not being rendered properly, your search icon does not work, etc.
This could be a plugin conflict so please disable all plugins except the page builder, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.

I think you are testing on the mobile theme plugin. The mobile theme colors can be changed from the mobile plugin settings at the bottom of the theme panel.

All of the Newspaper-specific blocks disappeared from Visual Composer’s backend editor on my site (the blocks still render on the front-end though). Were they removed from the VC editing interface in the latest version?

The blocks were not removed from vc. Please check your vc setting to make sure all of the blocks are enabled. Also please test without plugins as they can also affect the proper functionality of the block.

We know of 3 possible causes for this issue.
1) The wp super cache setting to cache page. Please only use these settings in wp super cache: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/ If you use any other cache plugin, make sure you do not cache pages for known users or for logged in users depending on the plugin setting.
2) Do not use this setting in seo by yoast: https://www.screencast.com/t/n8Cc35EofLh
3) Editing a page that was previously built with another page builder. You need to edit the page with the builder it was initially created with. Do not edit a page with tagdiv composer if it was not originally built with it. If you created your page in visual composer and then switched to our own page builder, you will have to re-create that page
Plugins can also cause issues with the composer so you might want to test without other plugins.
