What can I do to have the information inputted in a custom ‘listing type’ form, made viewable when accessed from the main site? I’ve created several customer listing types, and all that is viewable is the cover image and logo of the listing..? I know the error is likely on my part and probably warrants a very simple solution which you can detail.

You need to display the values of those custom fields, by editing the listing type > go to single page > content and tabs > create a tab or click on exisiting ones, and add content blocks.

Hi, I wanted to incorporate a booking feature for each listing, how do i go about adding this feature, i want users to be able to book services from each listing owner. I have bought the “booked” plugin and was wondering where it would be possible to be able to input a different shortcode to each listing.

Haven’t used Booked before but you should be able to display using the shortcodes they provide either using WP editor, shortcode or static code field.
If you create a ticket and provide your URL/ login credentials, I can check the plugin and let you know the best way

Okay thanks for getting back to me, I have created a ticket yesterday but no reply as of yet. I just had a quick question:
because i need a separate calendar for each listing as each one will be for a different service provider I presume i will need to put the shortcode for each calendar on each listing manually but when i edit the listing there is nowhere to put the shortcode, the description box will not accept it either.

where a business can: 1. sign up and create their business listing and also have a section in their listing page where they can add their services in a menu style. 2. view their upcoming appointments with customers via a booking plugin and receive notifications.
customers can: 1.go onto a business listing and book a service and in their account they can view their upcoming appointments and receive notifications.
for adding the listing there would be just a sign up for businesses to a add their listing, but for the bookings part there would have to be a business and customer sign up where businesses can manage their bookings and customers can also view their upcoming bookings.
Is there any plugins that I can use to setup something like this or would there need to be some custom coding.

Can I get some assistance on your support forum/ticket system concerning WC Vendors Pro? We also have a big deadline after this weekend. The plugin refuses to navigate to the page where we can add a product, the pre-loader screen freezes, and after manually forcing it to display none on the css I see the standard styling of the plugin which is a little disappointing because there is a customized css for it correct? Or at least that’s what I’ve been consistently seeing when others have asked. My username is the same one used here btw.

You can add using shortcodes. The theme is not multi language ready but it is RTL ready

hello, I really love the theme, but was wondering if the general font size (currently too small in my subjective opinion) can be globally altered in the options, or will I need to do some css tweaking?

In listing tools > listing types > edit > search form > listing ordering, make sure the “Latest” option is the first option. If not drag it and place it at the top spot

Unfortunately there’s no migration tool. Only way to import listings is using import plugins such as WP all import

Hi. I am working on my revenue plan for my project and am considering the following and would like to know if the theme will accommodate it. I am thinking about making it free to submit a listing (place). But have a yearly fee for those who would like to add events and deadlines. So those who pay a yearly fee would get to add unlimited events and deadlines for one place. If they wanted to add another place, same thing would apply. It would be free unless they wanted to add events or places.
For those who have free listings as well as those who have yearly packages, still give a separate option to pay to be a sponsored ad.
Is my plan doable within this theme?

Hi,
You need to create a free package ($0) which you will use for places and a premium package which you will use for events and deadlines.
See here how to create packages
Next, you need to go to listing tools > listing types > edit Places type. In the General tab, click packages and add the free package to this listing type.
Next edit events and deadlines listing types and add the premium package to these listing types
And that should be it, when your users want to add a place, they will be able to do it for free and when adding events and deadlines they will have to pay.

Thanks for the reply. So under your advice, would I be able to have the premium package for events show up under the places? So if a user has a place and wants a premium package for events, would the events show up in a tab under the place, like you have set up on your demo? That is the tricky part since they will have 2 packages perhaps. Or do you think there is an easier way to do it? Thanks
Hi,
You will make make Places listing type free and Events paid. In order for events to show in the place listing type they need to have a “Related listing” field where they can select the place or the host of that event.
What you can do is edit event listing type, go to Fields, then click on “Related listing” field and choose “Enable package visibility”. Choose the premium package you created.

Do you have in the next update, add in the main search engine the same as in the search engine on the top left, the option to autocomplete the businesses or categories? If not, is there no other way? I know that the “Home Alternative” has those options, but I would like to add it to the search engine as the “Home 1”

Unfortuantely no, auto-suggestion is only available in header search and quick search shortcode (home alternate). We may add it in the basic search form but I don’t know when since we are working on a lot of features at the moment

It would be quite interesting. 90% of the list templates do not have it incorporated and I think it is fundamental in a list template. I’m sure that with this function, your template would stand out more over the others. It would also be interesting to search through tags.

Don’t you think if you have for example instant search in the “keyword” area, the user will find the result right away and the other filters (category, location) lose their purpose?

Promoted listings were designed to show 1 listing at a time and to rotate. Unfortunately there’s not an option to change how that works

They should link when clicking in the preview card or you want to add some button in the single listing?
I want listings to show up in search that has some basic info about the listing and then a link that goes to other sites. (a link or a button, yes).
Hard for me to explain when I don’t know fully what the theme can and cannot do.
It can be done with some customization only

Hello. Please include a classified ad listing type with the “Product” structured data. Event listings would be best as http://schema.org/Event. It would be more user-friendly if directory and event listings (and later classified ads) are not merged in the search results and if every type of listing has its own filtering. You could include an alternative layout for search results with the map view first and the classic search results below. Also the main search box could be configured with listing type filter as required field called “Category”, and a secondary search box similar to that of Envato sites could be included to search within results. Please integrate the search engine with ElasticPress as ElasticSearch is a must for medium and large sites. Thank you
