Sorry, the theme only supports video for the header. For customization, you need to edit the view.php file of the header widget which resides in folder widgets/header/
You can customize the letters to any shape, you’ll find a tutorial in the documentation.
Can you please tell me a way of adding an image as the header for a section instead of the video Currently you can only add a video as the header for any of the 4 sections. Can you please help with some detailed instructions on how to have an image as the header? Thank you.

You can load a new google fonts in the “blahlab_aoko_google_fonts_url” function which is in file functions.php, also you need to edit the corresponding css file in assets/css folder to use the new font.

In a portfolio item, when the portfolio header is of media type IMAGE, it is ignored and the featured image is used instead, when its a video it works fine. PLEASE FIX this, as an image cannot be used at the moment as the header of a portfolio item. Thank you.
I’ll release an update to fix the issue, you’ll be noticed when it is available to download, and be sure to delete the old blahlab-framework plugin before install the new theme to make things take effect.

The portfolio is very hard to get around.
When you add a new item of portfolio you cannot add THE BRIEF, THE CHALLENGE, THE SOLUTION. These can only be changed or added from the Customizer, which is a bit of a pain to be honest.
When can we get a better way of doing this.
Also where can i change the font, i cannot find where i can change the default fonts you used to a font i want. Can you tell me where to do that please?

We choose to customize the portfolio item page in the theme customizer, because its flexibility.
To change the font, you need to edit the css files under folder assets/css.
Besides, you can use this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/so-css/ to customize the css.
I think it would be extremely useful to many people if you could include a child theme folder as well so that we can do changes to the theme style easily. Do you think thats possible?

Viewing Additional Widgets Issue
I want to add other widgets i.e. text widget, html, and events list. I have set the value of $blahlab_widget_read to true but I noticed in the functions.php but the additonal widgets (not the ones from the theme) are not displaying. I noticed there is another code in the functions.php as below:
if ( !blahlab_aoko_value($blahlab_widget_ready) ) { add_filter(‘sidebars_widgets’, ‘blahlab_aoko_remove_bundled_widgets’); }
Does this line of code need to be removed too? How can I make the additional widgets appear on the front end? In customiser it allows me to add the additional widgets but it doesn’t show them at all on the page.
The way to enabling other widgets is to set the value of ”$blahlab_widget_ready” to true in the top of file functions.php, not variable ”$blahlab_widget_read”.
I have tried this but still not possible. Currently on top of functions.php it reads as such:
<?php// for zhuti-jiancha pass $blahlab_widget_ready = true;
Please download and install the latest release of the theme which will fix the bug and make the ”$blahlab_widget_ready = true” working.
And before install the theme, be sure to remove the blahlab-framework plugin first.

Sorry, the package doesn’t include a child theme, and either don’t plan on including one for now, sorry about that.

I’m just wondering about a few things before I purchased the Aoko WordPress package.
You know how the layout on the home page has 4 letters/sections, can this be altered to have fewer sections, say I wanted just one letter as a mask and then click into the video.?
Also, I guess my main question is, is it possible to change the SVG files on the WordPress template so the colour and shape of the letters mask could be different style or size?
This isn’t clear to me looking on the site.

1. The theme only supports 4 sections.
2. You can change the letters to any shapes, a tutorial is included in the documentation on how to achieve that.
3. You need to customize css file to change the color.

What do you mean by “nothing inside”? Can you find the doc? You’ll get the doc after you uncompress the downloaded package.
What is your level of support. In your doc nothing rely to the downloaded website. Please be more helpful otherwise you will be banned!!!
In your doc file there is pretty basic explanation and we have already losed 2 days of trying to bring your theme alive!!!!1
I notice kurandemio also post a comment, he says you are on the same team, so I choose to just reply to you instead of him. I’ve checked out your site at https://new2018.kraftekstudio.com, and notice that some javascript and css file can’t be loaded, e.g. https://new2018.kraftekstudio.com/wp-content/themes/aoko-by-honryou/assets/css/app.css?ver=1.0 , they return a 403 not found error from your server, and I doubt that it is an server configuration issue.
Besides, the theme is designed to be easy to use, so not too much explanation needed in the doc.
